| Biography: | I never thought I'd be writing fanfiction, but here I am. I graduated from college in 2010 with a degree in graphic design and illustration, and at the moment I'm freelancing and going back to school to get BSBA in Marketing this fall.
My main story, Novus Lux, uses the communications world as a starting point because that's what I know about. So, sorry in advance if some vocab and references are confusing. I'll try to define any relevant words before starting each chapter. I can promise you though, that the whole story is about a LOT more than just PR; intrigue, out of control spiritual powers, action, spies, subversion, and romance in the Windy City!
My updates used to be more frequent, but they are now going to be more or less monthly (working and going to school does that), just so you all know.
A note about reviews: I thrive on reader feedback. As such, reviews are love. I will always respond to your signed reviews, no matter how short or long they are. That being said, please make sure any negative commentary is constructive commentary; I am always happy to correct errors or consider issues when they're delivered thoughtfully. :)

Some random facts about me:
- Cookies are an always food, dammit.
- One time, I pulled a stacked pair of glass cups out of the cabinet, and they exploded in my hand.
- I frequently wear mismatched socks because I constantly lose single socks when doing laundry, and I'm too lazy/cheap to buy new socks. Also, it amuses me.
- I adore Guitar Hero and Rockband. Expert is where it's at, baby.
- I have an unhealthy obsession with drawing hair: the more complicated, difficult, or swooshy, the better.
- I have, in fact, accidentally executed a perfect, cartoon-style, slipped-on-a-banana fall...except instead of a banana, it was a giant mud puddle.
- Porter style beer is delicious. Especially coffee porter. Yum.
- Sports I've played (from most recent to least recent): Tennis, Swimming, Pole-Vaulting, Track, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Gymnastics. I still play tennis, basketball, swim, and run. When I have time, anyway. And even though it's been years since I've done gymnastics, I can still turn a perfect cartwheel and walk on my hands.
- I can't write if there's music with lyrics playing, because I'll start writing the lyrics instead of what I'm working on.
- I drive a Honda Accord. It's green.
- Some of my favorite bands/musicians/composers, in no particular order: Audioslave, Iron Maiden, Gabriella Montero, Fastball, Daft Punk, Bad Religion, System of a Down, Lucinda Williams, Frederic Chopin, Led Zeppelin, Franz Liszt, Evanescence, Anthrax...
- I've played the piano since I was 5.
