| Biography: | Hi! My name's Blue, and I'm a 23 year old anime and manga addict.
I'm big into the outdoors and various sports that involve them, like, fishing, hiking, orienteering, etc. Also, am a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and the Sierra Club. I love dogs, especially Siberian Huskies and Bassett hounds. I live in Missouri which sucks because summers here are terrible and six cases of sunstroke in my life have left me with absolutely no heat tolerance whatsoever and I find myself living for autumn and winter. I eagerly await the day I can get the hell out of this state and go somewhere cold, preferable Alaska since I love the state, but I'd take Montana or anywhere above the border in Canada any day! Because these are such a big part of my life, I put alot of my views I've gotten from them into my writing and have even used the locations for a setup.
I'm also pretty contradictory in my life views. I'm you're typical American mutt whose ancestors got kicked out of every decent country in Europe and the British Isle's on my Dad's side, and on my mothers, we were a bunch on plains dwelling deerskin wearing savages, better known as American Indians. However, through some skewed genetics my skin is white as paper, my eyes are green, and my hair is reddish brown. So the Irish/Scottish/British (pick one) came out more in me than anything. I'm also a very avid supporter of gay rights including marriage, the right to choose to have an abortion or not, and divorce in necessary circumstances, which is weird because, well, I'm Catholic and sexually, I prefer men. I'm a conservative democrat and my idea of gun control is being able to hit what you aim for.
I've been writing fanfiction for about five years now, ever since I got into the genre when I saw Gundam Wing which is my fave. My others include, Trigun, GTO, and FAKE, but I've written in others as well. I write pretty much anything, I like both yaoi and het but only under certain circumstances, basically, I'll only read or write yaoi if the characters are actually gay (or there is some SERIOUS hinting) in the series. I'm very much of the opinion that, characters should be kept IN character. Making Heero Yuy and Duo Maxwell go at it like bunnies in the cockpit is ridiculous. I've kept this opinion for five years and it's not changing any time soon, I've only discovered one exception to this rule and that was with an author I found on Mediaminer.
As I'm sure you've realized by now, Im a very opinionated person and frankly I make no apologies for it ^_^
