The March Drabble Contest has been announced. This is a reader voted contest and any registered member of the site and forums is welcome to participate. And hey, if you aren't registered isn't this the perfect time to become a member of the site.

The contest is in full swing! The Third Annual Maximum Challenge Fanfiction Contest has been running for almost two months now and it shows no signs of slowing down. From the announcement thread, the contest will be accepting submissions into 24 categories from January 12, 2008 to May 15, 2008. So you've still got plenty of time to polish up your fiction until it shines, just make sure you read all of the rules for submission first otherwise your entry might not be accepted into the contest.

This goes doubly true for disclaimers. Please make sure you have a proper disclaimer in the story summary, first chapter summary, or first chapter of your fiction crediting the creators of the original work. Otherwise your fiction will not be accepted into the contest since it violates one of the site's rules.

The contest committee has also compiled a FAQ for those of you who have questions about the contest. Please read through them and if you have a question, feel free to ask in the thread.
