A great shojo, slightly longer than MARS, though much much shorter than anything by Takahashi. There is good character development, a solid historical plot, and the volumes flow very well.

The artwork leaves a little bit to be desired, as all of the characters are drawn with the most pointed chins I have ever seen emerge in an anime. But that should not be held against the overall presentation of the storyline.
