Happy Ostara, everyone! I've been working on this picture specifically for Ostara, so I'm glad I was able to finish it today. :) This is one of a series of celebrity-inspired pieces I have in the works. I found a beautiful photo of Keira Knightly that made me think so much of Ostara that I used her as the basis for this piece. I did add a smidge of weight to her - I tend to think of goddesses as more plush than most Hollywood actresses want to be. There's somewhere around 24-26 hours in this piece; it was done over a stretch of time, so I lost track of the exact amount of time it took me. Materials: Scanned sketch on typing paper and Photoshop. |
