Here is its: my first coloring attempt! I used Photoshop 6.0 to do this. It's a little inexperienced, but I kinda like it. It took forever for my comp to actually save it.
If anyone's wondering, its a colored sketch of the Spectre I drew quickly as a promo piece for a fanfic mini-series me and another guy are working on called JLArmageddon. The Spectre was a character created during WWII and acted a supernatural angel of vengeance. He was originally a detective named Jim Corrigan but at some point (Late Eighties? Early Nineties?) the angel and Corrigan seperated. Later, the superhero Hal Jordan (who was known as the "Silver Age" Green Lantern) was brought back from the land of the dead to serve as the host for the Spectre force. Fast forward a century or so, and there is a new Spectre. Incorporating both the traditional aspects of the Jim Corrigan Spectre, and apparantly possessing some of the powers of the Hal Jordan (Green Lantern-esque) Spectre, this new Spectre is the herald of the end of the known world... the Armageddon. Anyway, he's the third Spectre (who is really a former DC Comics hero). IF you look real close, you can find a clue to his secret identity. And, if anyone's interested, I can tell you who he really is. |
