9) Candy

 

"Damn it."

 

"What?"

 

"It's Easter."

 

"What about Easter?" Ishida set down his sewing and peered at Ichigo.

 

"It's when that one type of candy comes out, you know? Those creme filled chocolate egg things."

 

Ishida arched an eyebrow in amusement. "Oh? What about them?"

 

"I love those things." Ichigo said, scowling. "It's a sickness."

 

"Oh, poor Kurosaki. Defeated by a candy, are we?"

 

"Shut up."

 

The next day, Ichigo stood in front of his shoe locker dumbfounded when he saw the tiny basket of creme eggs that was inside it, and the little note that said "It can't hurt to indulge your sickness if they only come out once a year."

 

That night, Ichigo let Ishida be on top with no argument.
