Now I've Got a Witness
*Shannon*
Damnit! Why does that little girl have to ruin everything? My daughter, Vera always does this to me? It's like this: Momma has an affair with new boy toy, little girl sees mommy's play toy, and a whole sea of mess follows! Well, not this time damnit! I am having Edward and keeping him! I'll do whatever it takes to do so! Even if it means potential child abuse.
I ran after that obnoxious little brat for what felt like miles of pain. I had to take my red hot dress heels in order not to add injury to my poor sweet pedicure feet. Now, I wish I wore pants instead of this red leather mini skirt. Why does that little bitch daughter of mine play this pain-in-the-ass game with me?
After down that malicious little demon for many miles, I snatched up Vera at the empty Freshman Hall café. She giggled wildly as I dragged my daughter to a random empty table. I sat down with a hard thus. I sat down in front of the little demon seed frowning.
“Okay,” I growled. “How much did you see?” Vera smiled her goofy smile at me. She was a monster with an angelic little face. Her cheeks were fat little apples. Her long dark brown bangs masked her broad forehead. The girl's long dark brown pigtails looked like little wings on the sides of her head. Vera's light blue bows held her “wings” perfectly in place. Her clothes made her look like a little rag doll. (Hey! My kids may be annoying but I keep them fed and dressed! Don't judge me!)
“Well,” I barked harshly. “Answer me!” Vera kept grinning at me. “Ohhhh!” she mocked Edward in the shed. “Oh yes! Yes! Give me more!” My face became bright red. Vera giggled at me yet again. Damnit! How the hell do I get out of this one? Well, here goes! “Okay!” I called out. “What's it going to take this time to keep you quiet?” Vera kept smiling badly at me. “A dolly!” she called out. I glared at her like Satan. “And if I refuse…” I replied. Vera kept smiling at me like the false saint she is. “I'll tell daddy!” that little demon called out. I rolled my eyes annoyed. Oldest trick in the book! She always threatens Perry on me. But what can that coward do? He doesn't even have the guts to slap Turquin in the face for calling him a dick-face! He never cusses me out in the face. That boy only didn't that one time and he ended up with my hand print on his face for three days. So telling on me to Perry was rather pointless. But I always give anyway. Maybe, I don't want to hear my husband's annoying voice. Maybe, because I am scared to be stuck with the little monsters if he even left me. (The day that happens is the day I become a born-again virgin!)
“Fine!” I called out. “What keep of doll?” Vera kept smiling at me with her goofy grin. “Surprise me!” she said. “Oh!” I said flatly. Translation on that: I want the most expensive popular new doll you can find, mommy!” “No!” I said boldly. “I'll tell daddy!” my female monster reassured me. I rolled my eyes again. “Fine!” I called out pissed that I got tricked again. “I'll see what I can do!” Vera just smiled at me again. “Thanks mommy, I love you!” she called out. The little bitch daughter of mine got up and ran away back to her dorm. I sat back and sighed heavily. I hate this game that we play almost everyday!
