Chapter 3: My Quest

My first thing I thought when I entered the digital Portal was my dream was coming true. It was the greatest thing ever to happen to me and my friends but they didn't think so. As we walked though flying data a bight blue light shined into our eyes blinding us. Lucky for me that I brought my sunglasses and put them on.

Alan: Mary hold my hand and close your eyes.

Mary: OK

Jamie: What about us Alan

Alan: Same thing you take Mary's hand, Richard will take your other hand and Mark will take Richard hand.

Mark: Good plan Alan that way we won't lose each other

Then we were then floating in mid air breaking our hand grip to each other

Jamie: Great now what

Mary: Stop being mean Jamie

Alan: We need to find a path that leads down

Mark: But which way is down

Richard then pointed below him

Richard: Maybe that way.

Alan slapped his forehead as they began to fall down.

Mark: Oh great we about to die!!!!

Alan: No we not but we will be out cold for a while

Mary: Alan!!

Alan tried reaching for Mary's hand but Alan hit something hard on the way down and it knocked him out cold.

Meanwhile the Tamers were at the floating area and were once again blinded by the light. Takato put on his goggles on, Rika and Henry put they sunglasses on and holed hands with the others guiding them thought like last time and started floating.

Takato: I knew this would happen again

Henry: No kidding

Jeri: Wanted me to point down again.

Kazu and Kenta: NOOO!!!!!!!

Mako: Down that way

Mako pointed down and the tamers began to fall

Mako: Sorry

Rika: Don't worry it was your first time here anyway and it did speed up things

Suzi: Henry!!

Henry: Suzi grap my hand

Suzi griped Henry's hand and then Henry drawn her in and held her tight by his chest.

Suzi: Thanks Henry

Henry: I keep you safe

They then all hit something hard knocking them all out. Hours have past since then and Alan opened his eyes slowly and saw the real world above him. Alan smiled and wanted to stare at it forever but then he remembered his friends and got up. Alan climbed out the creator and then saw four more creators. Alan ran to the nearest one and saw Mary and jumped in the crater and picked her up as softly as he could and walked out of the crater and gently put her on the ground and lay next to her stroking her hair.

Jamie and Mark both slowly climbed out of their creators.

Alan: Guys see if Richard is okay will you

They both nodded and walked towards Richard. Mary opened her eyes and noticed Alan and kissed him on the chin.

Alan: Are you Ok Mary

Mary: Am OK and you

Alan: Am fine

Mary: That’s good what about Jamie and the others

Alan: While I just saw Mark and Jamie and they look better but don't know about Richard.

Mary got up and walked with Alan towards Richard. Mark and Jamie both helped him out of the crater and softly laid him on the ground.

Mark: Now what Al

Alan: Wait till Richard wakes up and then we begin to search for the tamers digimon

Meanwhile Rika wakes up and slowly gets up and looks around and noticed that she was alone.

Rika: While this didn't happen first time I was here. I got to find the others

Rika climbs out of the crater and brought out her blue and sliver D-arc and activated her compass.

Rika: If I ever going to find the guys I best find Renamon first and lucky I can bump into goggle head and the others.

Rika was about to leave in till a Veemon stepped out of a corner of a boulder.

Rika: Great now there something new, without Renamon I won't be able to defeated him.

Veemon: V Head butt!!!!

Rika raised her arms across her face in till a fast blur knocked Veemon to the ground. Rika lowed her arm and in front of her was Renamon.

Rika: Renamon!!

Renamon: Rika its great to see you again

Rika: We talk later we got a digimon to take care of

Renamon: Right

Veemon gets up and starts running towards Renamon. Renamon used her speed to get behind Veemon and punched him onto the ground. Veemon jumped back onto his feet

Veemon: V Head butt!

Renamon sidestepped and when Veemon was in front of her, she kneed him in the chest and fast kicked him across the face and hit him on the ground hard. Veemon got up and started to run away. Renamon then walked up to Rika and Rika gave Renamon a tight hug.

Rika: I thought I never see you again

Renamon: Same here Rika but I thought you be with more then four people

Rika stopped hugging and gave Renamon a confused look

Rika: What but I did Takato and the other tamers are here too

Renamon: then that means

Rika: That more people have entered the digital world.

Renamon: I seen them crashing nearby and I thought you were the last one landing

Rika: Lead me to the place they crush down at

Renamon: OK I carry you there

Renamon picked up Rika while Rika put her arms around Renamon's neck. Renamon then dashed off. Alan was still looking up at the real world still couldn't believe that he was at the digital world. Jamie, Mary and Mark were waiting for Richard to wake up. Richard opened his eyes and got up.

Mark: About time I thought you never wake up

Richard: How long was I out?

Mary: About five minutes

Jamie walked up to Alan

Jamie: Now that Richard is awake now what do we do.

Alan: Quite easy we now try to find the tamers digimon

When Alan said those words Rika and Renamon were watching and listening

Rika: Why would they want to find you and the rest of the gang?

Renamon: No idea

Rika: Do you think they tamers

Renamon: No I don't feel any digimon nearby

Rika: Maybe this boy wants to steel you away from

Renamon: I won't go with him anyway I belong to you Rika and nobody else

Rika: Lets go up to them

Renamon nodded and climbed down the edge they were once on

Richard: Alan what happens when we encounter a wild digimon

Alan: We run away

Mark: But how are we going to tell which one is the tamers digimon

Alan: I know now any more questions before I decide to leave you all here.

They shacked their heads

Alan: Good now come on

Alan and the others were about to go in till Rika and Renamon appeared in front of them

Alan: Rika and Renamon

Rika stepped forward and went to face to face with Alan.

Rika: I hared what’s going on why are you after our digimon

Mark: Alan who's this girl

Alan turned to Mark

Alan: Its Rika

Mark was confused

Rika: Don't ignore me tell me why are you after our digimon

Alan turned to Rika

Alan: Am not after them

Rika: Yes you are don't try to hide things from me I just hared what you said now tell me the truth

Alan: Well it's because I want to help them reunite with there tamers

Rika was stunned for a while and then shacked it off

Rika: Why

Alan: Because it what I want to do

Rika then looked at Renamon and back to Alan

Rika: What, did you know you could have been killed?

Alan: It was a risk me and my friends took

Rika: Well it was a stupid risk I bet you don't know how to get back!!!

Alan closed his eyes

Rika: I guess your friends and you are stuck with me and Renamon in till we figure a way home.

Alan didn't say anything

Richard: Ok but what do we do from here

Rika: We regroup with my friends lets go

Mark, Jamie and Richard past Alan and walked with Rika and Renamon. Mary then went beside Alan

Mary: Come on lets go

Alan nodded and they caught up with the others. Takato and the other were looking at their D-arc to try to locate their Digimon and hopefully to find Rika.

Jeri: Am sure hope Rika okay....she all alone out there

Kazu: Don't worry Jeri Rika can always take care of herself

Henry: I bet Rika looking for Renamon as we speak

Takato: And hopefully she found our partners as well

Kenta: But what happens if she encounter a wild digimon before she can ever get to Renamon

Henry: I bet she run and find a place to hide

Takato: I don't know Henry it seems there no place to hide around here.

Henry: Don't worry I bet Rika found Renamon

Jeri: Lets hope

Few hours later when the digital world was at night time. Rika and the others were asleep besides Alan who was sitting down looking at the real world

Alan: I guess I did do a stupid thing, am hopeless all I wanted was to help the tamers and now I got Rika all burned up against me and not only that I got my friends in danger. Some friend I am.

Renamon then appeared behind Alan

Renamon: You should get some sleep

Alan: Am not tried

Renamon: But its best to save up your strength

Alan: I know but I don't feel like sleeping right now.

Renamon: Your upset because Rika told you off

Alan: All I wanted was to help but all I can do is screw things up

Renamon: Well don't stay up too late or Rika will give something else to yell at you about.

Renamon disappeared and Alan lay on the ground looking up and then slowly fall asleep.
