Chapter 45— Let's have a little fun with the teenagers =D

 

The three kids made it upstairs and Minako still hadn't said a word to either of the boys when they all got to Trunks's room. What was with me…it felt so good…but scary…not nearly as scary as when I fought Vegeta before… The girl shut her eyes and clenched her teeth. Why can't I remember what happen!?

 

“Minako?” she looked up and saw Trunks sitting on the floor next to Goten extending her a strange looking and strange shaped thing, “You wanna play?”

 

“…play?”

 

“Yeah, we're gonna play video games, you wanna play?” He repeated his question slightly jerking the controlled towards her to take it

 

“Um… I never played video games…”

 

“Yeah she's a lost cause” Goten rolled his eyes and guided professionally through the multiplayer menu on the television screen hanging on Trunks's wall.

 

Minako, who was sitting on Trunks's bed behind the two boys grabbed the controller holding it vertically and said, “We'll see about that Goten!”

 

Trunks raised an eyebrow, “Um… Minako… you're holding it the wrong way”

 

“Oh” she flipped it upside down, “How's this?” Trunks stared at the controller and without saying a word flipped it the right side up before handing it back, “Oh…”

 

Someone stomped up the stairs and passed Trunks's room in a hurry. Minako looked at Trunks who sighed, “Oh boy…”

 

“What happ—“Goten was interrupted by:

 

“WOMAN! THE DAMNED MACHINE IS BROKEN! IT KEEPS REGENERATING STUPID HALOGRAMS AND WON'T LET ME QUIT!” It was Vegeta (who else XD)… and boy was he mad

 

“Vegeta! You can't barge in like this all of a sudden!!!”

 

“Stupid woman, I've already seen everything! Now go and fix the damn computer!!”

 

“Oh Kami…” Trunks tried to forget what his father had just said

 

Goten's eyes widened as he stared at his best friend without saying a word.

 

Vegeta stomped into his son's room after a scream and a door slam with a pillow clenched in his hand. He glared at the boys and then at Minako and then back at him son, “Who broke MY machine”

 

“It was fine when we left it” Trunks said

 

“WHAT!?” He ripped the pillow in half making the feathers fly everywhere, “I KNEW IT!”

 

Feather flew everywhere and suddenly a pillow was chucked at his face with so much force that it ripped apart at impact. The prince spat out the feathers and looked from person to person to see who threw it. His eye fell on Minako, the only one that was a little too relaxed on Trunks's bed looking out the window completely ignoring the angry man.

 

“YOU… LITTLE…”

 

“It's not nice to yell Veg, I think the penguins heard you” she interrupted still with her arms cross behind her head as she lay on Trunks's bed

 

Vegeta stammered but then all of a sudden a body appeared behind him, “Hey guys!”

 

Ugh… that annoying voice. Yes, it was Kasumi who walked in with a giant smile on her face which disappeared after she saw the mess

 

“Whoa… pillow fight?”

 

“Oh great another female to annoy the hell out of me” Vegeta said angrily glaring at Kasumi

 

A giant grin spread across the girl's face, “Oh my goodness! I cannot believe I finally get to meet the famous Vegeta!”

 

“…famous…?” He repeated with a twitch

 

“Yes! You were one of the tournament fighters every year at the World Martial Arts Tournament! What a great amount of power in just one man” she said praising the man

 

Vegeta couldn't help but smile proudly, “Yes well, I truly am the best fighter out of the rest of those weaklings”

 

“Of course! No competition whatsoever!” she continued praising

 

“Yes well…” the saiyen cleared his throat, “I must be off, fixing the machine and all”

 

He left and she turned back to the three. Goten who had him mouth hanging open said, “Whoa! Kasumi!”

 

She giggled, “What?”

 

“So smooth!” he continued

 

“Yeah good job on getting rid off the pest, Kasumi” Minako said sitting up and smiling at the girl. The two had buried the hatchet and now were as close as before, however Trunks was still a bit skeptical.

 

“Ah, it's okay… no seriously… what happened here?” Kasumi said sitting down with Trunks and Goten in the pile of feathers

 

“Just Trunks's dad being stupid and over-reacting” Goten said rolling his eyes, “But anyway, what happened? I thought you had plans?”

 

“I decided to come hang with you, but your mother said you were at Trunks's with Minako, so I decided to come here” she said with a smile

 

“Oh that's so sweet, but are you sure?”

 

“Yes of course, you're the most important thing to me” she looked into his eyes

 

Ugh… Trunks rolled his eyes and slumped down on the floor leaning his upper half of his body against his bed, stupid lovey-dovey couple. Jeez…anymore of this and I'm gonna puke. The boy got up and dusted the feathers off

 

“Where are you going?” Minako asked

 

“Downstairs for a sec” he said with a slight groan, otherwise I'm gonna be sick

 

“Maybe you should go with him Min. I mean, wouldn't you want some company” Kasumi said stressing `company' a little too much

 

I'm going to kill her…Trunks said and Minako, confused, followed him out of the room.

 

 

 

Down stairs Minako asked Trunks, “Why did Kasumi say you wanted company?”

 

“Because they want to be alone” Trunks replied, and my room too… jeez…

 

“Why? Doesn't everyone always say `the more the merrier'?”

 

“Not in this situation” Trunks mumbled to himself too low for his friend to hear as he walked into the kitchen.

 

The two were in the kitchen with an awkward silence as Trunks tried to make it less awkward by keeping himself busy looking through all the cabinets. As he opened the 3rd one a bag of potato chips fell out and spilled on the counter and floor.

 

“Ugh great…” Trunks commented picking the chips off the floor while Minako began cleaning a bit on the counter above him.

 

He got up to throw out the handful off chip in his hands and didn't realize the girl was right above him. The boy's head hit her collar bone and the two fell back down on the floor with Minako on top

 

“Ow… Trunks, what was that for?” She asked as she lay half on the boy

 

“Uh…” the boy stammered accidentally crushing the chips in his hands

 

Unlucky of them Vegeta passed by the two. Trunks held his breath staring wide-eyed at his passing father. But let out a sigh of relief when the man passed by without saying a word

 

“What?” Minako asked raising an eyebrow at Trunks's beat red face

 

Suddenly the `prince of all saiyens' came running back and gawked at the two, “WHAT IS THIS!?”

 

Trunks jumped off, throwing Minako off himself, “I—“

 

“Ow… Trunks…” The girl rubbed her bottom from impact

 

“Oh I'm sorry!” he bent over to help her up but Vegeta grabbed her and slid her across the floor next to himself by the half-saiyen's T-shirt collar

 

“What is this!!??” he repeated pointed at Minako

 

“This is Minako” the girl said with an annoyed voice as she tried to get up

 

“SHUP UP! YOU TELL ME YOU ACTUALLY LIKE THIS BEING?”

 

“She's my friend dad!” Trunks yelled back

 

“NO, NO, NO! MY HOUSE IS NOT A MATING AREA!” he shot out a ki beam and used it as a laser to make a hole in the ceiling above them. Kasumi and Goten fell down on a circular platform from the 2nd floor hit in front of Trunks. Goten was hunched over Kasumi who had her arms around the boy.

 

“Um…” Goten looked up at Vegeta standing above the two.

 

“Everyone. Out. Of. My. HOUSE!!” Vegeta said before slamming the door on everyone, including his own son.

 

Everyone stood there in silence contemplating and blushing about the situation they were in except Minako who balled up her fists and stared angrily as the closed door, “C'MON Vegeta, YA THINK YOU'RE SO TOUGH! FIGHT US LIKE A REAL MAN!”

 

Kasumi raised an eye at Goten and then at Trunks who were both too embarrassed to look at her back. Minako stomped back to her friend with her hands still in fists, “That Vegeta is so mean! Went insane over nothing! He has some serious problems”

 

“Minako, Trunks… what exactly—“

 

“Nothing” Trunks quickly interrupted Kasumi

 

Goten's eyes widened, “YOU! YOU! YOU… BASTARD! WITH MY SISTER?”

 

“Oh yeah!? What were you doing in my room, huh!?”

 

Goten quickly shut up.

 

 

 

After some awkward goodbyes, the siblings began walking back home, Trunks tried to get back inside his house, and Kasumi walked the other way. When they were out of public's eye, the two began flying back home.

 

“So…” Goten started

 

“That stupid Vegeta! He's so… STUPID! What made him get so angry!?”

 

“You tell me” Goten said still suspicious

 

“Huh?”

 

“What were you and Trunks doing that got him mad?”

 

“Cleaning up chips, because Trunks spilled them all over the place”

 

“I really doubt he'd get mad over something like that… although the hole in the ceiling was a bit over-reacting too…” Goten commented

 

“Seriously… I mean all you were doing was showing her a martial arts grappling technique”

 

“What…”

 

“Right?” Minako asked her brother naively

 

“Oh… OH! RIGHT! THAT WAS DEFIANTLY what we were doing” he said nodding frantically. He suddenly sneezed and then sniffled a little.

 

“Getting sick?”

 

“No, saiyens are practically immune to everything”

 

“If you say so…” the girl said before the two flew back home and faced the wrath of Goku's cooking.
