Long hair in the front
Short in the back
But just where
Do your loyalties lie
I know nothing
About you
Not anymore
This friendship has sailed
And land it has reached
We part to our true homes
Away from the sea
That only served it purpose
Of beating down heavy times
You Lie
You cheat, and steal
I've seen nothing but
What I've been told
The last words
We ever said
Were
“LYLAS
Always and
Forever”
and then a quickly added bit
Of
“Can I have A
Ride to School?”
Nothing more
Than cheap, pointless gains
And
A shoulder to cry on
When, discovered, has been your game
I don't wonder
What you do at night
What books you may read
What time you may spend
Sitting in the bathroom
Cutting away
It's all the same
Just another plot
For popularity
And concern
To come your way
I don't rhyme
Nothing will do
This poem
And all
The rest
Are only for you
Katie, my friend
Now
