The Saddness in The Heart
Part 1

A slight wind drifted by, blowing leaves and the grass along with it. Also a person's light hair and scarf.
There on a swing, in the middle of a deserted park, was a young teenage girl with light brown hair and dark
blue eyes, staring at the dirt ground beneath her tennies shoes. Her pink, orange, and brown scraf wrapped
loosely around her pale neck blew lightly in the wind. Skies above were a light grey with barely any clouds,
but still the sun was well hidden behind the clouds that were there. The girl sitting on the swing thought the
sky fitted her feelings well. Lately, she had been feeling so sad and alone, thinking no one cared about her
either. Her boyfriend wasn't helping her either. For about two weeks, he had barely even spoken to her and
when he did talk to her, he was speaking nonsense or hurting her feelings. Exsample, she thought, last time
he had insulted her and he wouldn't stop. She asked him to stop and all he would do was laugh and continue
what he was saying. All her heart hurt and her mind was now filled with even more thoughts and memories.
The day he had insulted her, she remembered not long later going to her room, ready for bed. But as soon
as her eyes closed, thoughts of what he said repeated in her head. That soon lead to her old memories of
when she was in her old and last elementry school. Those memories always did still hurt her. People around
her always teased, bullied, and did whatever to her, and she never knew what to do. Still, she tried to defend
herself, but nothing helped her. Not long later, she was crying into her pillow, wondering if the person she loved
still loved her. So many thoughts clouded her head and no one was helping her in anyway, they only seemed to
be making it worse on her, even her own family. Now, here she sat on a swing alone with no one around, with
tears slowly coming from her eyes and rolling down her cheecks. She hated the feeling she was having.
Thoughts started climbing into her mind, making her heart ache so much more. She chocked on a sob
as more tears sprang to her blue eyes. Why was life so complicated and hard? What happened to the
times when all she had to worry about was....well....nothing? The times when she was a kid with no worries
was where she wanted to be but as time continues, so must hardships and a person's pains.
A vibrating came from her left jean pocket, signaling someone was calling or texting her cell phone.
Reaching into her pocket, she took out her cell. On the front where the time usually was set was a message
saying " 1 new message". Flipping her Monterolla phone open, she clicked till she saw what the message
had to say. A simple message saying " hi" was on, and underneath the message said who it was from.
Her boyfriend's name was there, meaning he sent her the "oh so loving message". Not wanting to be rude
or anything, she texted back saying "hi, how are u". After pressing send, she shut her phone and held it
between her two pale hands. Another wind blew by, this time bringing a cold rush down the girl's spine.
Soon, the phone vibrated again, signaling he texted back. He seemed he never wanted to call
her or anything that included talking without being face to face. Opening the phone, she read that he
was fine and a how are you. She continued sending him messages, but soon after she had lied, saying she
was doing pretty good, he started the rambling again. When ever she asked him to stop, he would
just laugh and continue. A small, sad, laugh escaped her pink lips. How funny and sad she found life.
All you have to do is tell someone you're ok, even when you're not, and they believe you. Even when
you're crying in the cold in an empty park. She hated life and all the pain that it gave to everyone.
About a half an hour went by before she got a message she didn't exspect. "Are u at a park right now?"
That confused her, how did he know that? Looking up and around, she didn't see anyone. Intill
a boy with short black hair, a dark jacket, and jeans popped out of no where. " Why is he here?!" She thought.
Quickly, she wiped away the tears that were still in her eyes. Never did she want someone to see her cry.
Next thing she knew, her boyfriend was sitting in the swing by her, looking at her. She avoided his gaze,
not wanting him to see her. Her heart was hurting and tears still came from her eyes, just there was less.
" Hana, whats the matter?" Hana shook her head back and forth, still avoiding his eyes. She hadn't
seen him in two weeks, barely talked to her, and many times made her doubt that he loved her still,
even when he said he still loved her. Her mind knew nothing now and her heart was too weak to
know. But now here he was asking if she was ok. " I'm perfectly fine you idiot. I'm just crying cause I'm so
overcome with joy". Hana's voice was filled with sarcasm as she said that, and all her boyfriend did
was give her a strange look. She turned and glared at him. He was giving her a wierd look?
" Why are you here Corine?" She didn't mean to snap at him, she just did. Her mind was just telling her what
to do, and it said to push him away. Thats the way he made her feel, so her mind thought just to do the
same. It didn't seem to faze him. " I was on a walk. I wanted to get out of my house. Why are you out here?"
Hana looked up and over to him, so she saw his brown eyes. Giving a sad smile she responded " I wanted
to think somewhere alone." Corine nodded his head and looked at her again. A sad look went across her face again
and he wondered what the matter was. " Whats the matter Hana?" "Do you really want to know?" He nodded his head up and down.
"I've been really sad lately. And no one seems to not care. Even you." Corine frowned. "Of course I care. You just never
tell me." For some reason, she snapped. All her anger and saddness just snapped inside her." I have told you!
You're the one person I've actually tried talking to about this! And all you do? Nothing! You've even been
teasing me more and I keep taking it seriously! When I ask you to stop, you won't! You're the one hurting me the most!"
Hana was now suddenly standing in front of him as he looked up with wide eyes. He started to stammer, to create something to
say to his depressed girlfriend, but she beat him to it. " If you don't love me anymore more, just say it!"Silence covered the
area and Corine couldn't seem to say anything. He didn't know what to say. How was he supposed to know
he was hurting her this much. Hana took the silence as a "he hates her" meaning. Tears gathered in her eyes and started
to drift down her face. Next thing Corine knew, Hana was running away into the forest by the park. " Wait! Hana!"
Corine ran after her, hoping to make her happy and calm again. He was going to have to prove he loved her again.
