It is late one night on the animal figurine that Luffy realizes something. He loves his nakama more than anything else. He loves them more than Shanks' straw hat, and more than becoming Pirate King.
They are his everything, and he knows his everything better than anything.
He knows the way they breathe, talk, and fight. He knows why sometimes, they cry at night when they think it's safe to. Luffy would do anything for his nakama, and his nakama would do anything for him.
It's late one night that Luffy realizes that he has already found his One Piece.
