The Hat

Nami wonders why she's the one that always ends up with Luffy's straw hat, and this is because she thinks that she does not deserve the honor of wearing Luffy's hat. It's his treasure; to have the privilege of wearing something so important to him feels ironically criminal.
One night, Nami asks Luffy why, and Luffy tells her it's because she's his nakama, and he loves her. She feels cheated; she does not yet fully understand his love.
It is not until countless nights later that Nami finally understands why she's the one that always ends up with Luffy's hat.
