She misses him. She can hardly remember the last time he was home, smiling at her as he ate dinner, the two of them cuddling on the couch while Ash slept, and then achingly sweet love in her bedroom…

She can't do it.

He leaves two days later, briefcase in hand and poke belt at waist, and she waits, and she wonders, and she hopes…
