Red knows Lance's secret.

It didn't take him long to find out - he's always been observant, and some things make more sense once you put the puzzle pieces together. He snuggles into her arms and plays with her spiky dark hair, feeling her heartbeat as they cuddle together on her bed, covered with a thick, downy quilt.

She's wearing a nightgown, so it's easy to see that she's a girl, but she's not curvaceous and she doesn't have big eyes. He understands now, that it was necessary - Kanto is too traditional to accept a woman as the Johto League Champion.

Personally, Red isn't that prejudiced, and he's glad he's found someone on his level to love. Maybe that's why she trusts him.

In any case, he's just glad they're together.
