Yugi- Street Fighter?! By: DJ Rodriguez   (Author’s Notes: Hello, everyone. DJ here, and its good to be back! Pardon my not being able to update sooner, but I had some problems to deal with.   Yugi: One of them was that DJ received some nasty and hurtful flames from annyoumous reviewers. So, his pride has been severely wounded.   Darien: I really don’t see why people have to flame fanfics and author’s like that. I really don’t.   DJ: In any case, how about you guys and girls out there? You like my stories?   Now, on with the fanfic!)  

Chapter 16

  Yugi stood in the middle of the arena, fans cheering for him and also his opponent, Victor Hugo. His face showed that of being calm and composed, but he was very much nervous and anxious on the inside.   And for two reasons; 1.) He had to control his evil side so he couldn’t harm any innocent people. 2.) He was going against not only a friend, but also a huge powerhouse! The German wrestler was about five feet from Yugi, flexing his tree trunk-sized arms as a small warm-up. Poizin was right beside him, smirking and looking seductively at Hugo’s opponent.   She said, “It’ll be a treat to have you on our side in wrestling, cutie.”.   After that, she blew him a kiss before leaving. She walked away, swinging her hips back and forth hypnotically and showing off her sexy, long legs. Nearly every male in the stadium, including Yugi, were now drooling at the sexy sight and eyes wide with lust. He then felt four very powerful ki spikes behind him, and turned around to see that Sakura, Karin, Juni, and Juli were glaring hard at the young man. They began to glow in a deep red aura, showing that they did not approve and were very much ticked off. He sweatdropped and gave off a nervous smile.   “I’m sorry.”, he mouthed to them. The four ladies merely huffed in annoyance and leaned in against the pillars underneath the archway of the Fighter’s Area. Yugi quickly switched his attention and focus back at the task at hand. Hugo stopped his stretching exercises and was now ready for the main event!   “Remember our deal, Yugi! If I win, you become my tag team partner!”, the huge man recapped.   Yugi nodded as he got into a fighting stance. He replied, “I remember, and I am a man of my word, Hugo.”. That said and done, the announcer came out and started the match!   Hugo was not hesitant to start it off. He came in full force, with a Monster Lariat attack! Using his quick wit and smaller size, he rolled underneath the arm and past Hugo.   ‘Thank goodness for my speed!’, he thought. However, he knew that it would take more then mere speed to defeat someone like Hugo. The said fighter quickly turned around and let out a powerful hand slap! Yugi was taken by surprise and sent sprawling back, but he quickly recovered.   ‘I forgot about his mastery at poking attacks! It may have seemed like a simple hand slap, but his arms can reach a considerable length and also do a great amount of damage! I just learned it the hard way.’, he thought.   Yugi then went onto the offensive. He quickly thrusted his right arm up and shouted, “Max Out!”.   A crescent-like energy slash shot out from the wave-like motion of his arm, and hit the giant squarely in the chest! Karin gasped and exclaimed, “That was Dee Jay’s move!”.   She was right. Yugi had just pulled off a special attack from the famous Jamaican kick boxer! Hugo was stunned big time, but he recovered and once again went on the offensive. He charged right in, his eyes and face having a wild look that was very much unnerving. He grabbed Yugi by the throat, lifted him up high, and charged towards the east wall! Yugi squirmed, trying to break free. Alas, it was no use. Hugo was going to use his special attack called Meat Squasher, he was going to smash Yugi into the wall and go along with him! He was planning to flatten the young hero like a pancake! The large man soon connected, sandwiching Yugi between a very solid blue brick wall and himself! Hugo soon backed away, dropping Yugi and getting some distance. The wall on which Yugi smashed into crumbled, and soon a lot of debris fell on the fallen young man.   Everyone in the stadium thought it was finished, but they were in for a surprise! In a matter of minutes, the pile slowly started to move and a very much-amused Yugi Moto emerged from it. The audience was indeed shocked, not only to see that Yugi was up from that attack, but also for having only a minor bruise on the back of his neck!   “Very well played, Hugo. That would have knocked out an ordinary man.”, the young warrior commented.   Hugo just had to smirk along with his friend, because Yugi was indeed strong and he wanted a strong tag team partner.   “Lucky for both of us you are not ordinary.”, he said.   Tea and Co., who were sitting in the stands nearby, heard the comment. “Its true. Yugi has never been that for a long while.”, Joey said.   The rest agreed with him there. Yugina cheered out, “Go, Uncle Yugi! Go!”.   Yugi then charged in, ready to let loose! Hugo stood ready, hardening his muscles so he could lessen the impacts. The worldwide student of Street Fighting jumped in the air and let loose a strong forward punch! It connected with Hugo’s chest, but it did little damage. After he landed, he shot out a few quick right jabs and followed it with a low sweep kick. Hugo didn’t expect a lower-body attack, so he was knocked off his feet and came crashing down. Yugi jumped high in the air again, ready to deliver another air-attack combo! However, it was not to be. Hugo intercepted the young man quickly, executing his infamous Shootdown Backbreaker! Grabbing Yugi’s head with his left hand, and his legs in the other, he landed back down hard. Yugi’s body was jolted badly from the shock of the landing, plus the pressure Hugo was now putting on him. Satisfied that he did adequate damage, the German wrestler stood up from his crouched position and threw Yugi to the left. The young fighter got back up, albeit slowly this time.   ‘I’m wearing down! Worst part is… I can feel Demon Yugi trying to take control once more!’, he thought with a shudder.   Hugo walked towards the fighter, ready to deliver some more punishment. “You are very strong, Yugi. But, I was hoping to see more from you.”, the wrestler stated.   Yugi decided to let him come closer, to give him a big surprise. When the large wrestler was close enough, practically now hovering above him, Yugi quickly jumped up from his crouched position and wrapped his legs around Hugo’s head!   “What the-!?”, was the shocked exclamation from Hugo and all the other fans. Using this moment’s shock to his advantage, Yugi leaned far back and prepared himself to throw Hugo! Cammy, who was watching from the sidelines beside Guile, now had her mouth open wide in shock.   “T-That is my move!”, she exclaimed in shock.   Indeed, the move was indeed Cammy’s. Yugi did a handstand, and threw Hugo away with his legs! The German fighter flew about ten feet away, landing roughly on his back and skidding to a stop on the earthen floor. He slowly got to his hands and knees, and glared at the fighter standing before him. He then smirked and slowly got to his feet.   “Very good, Yugi! Now, things are getting good!”, he bellowed. Yugi did not say anything, merely running towards the large foe at amazing speed.   “That’s the spirit!”, Hugo declared as he charged at the small fighter too! The audience gasped as they saw the two charging towards one another! Tea, Serenity, Mai, and Ishizu held their breath in anticipation, the fight now getting to them. The girls below them did the same. The guys just looked on in wide-eyed suspense and anxiousness, Yugina in Yami’s lap closing her eyes with her hands. Her small friends did the same. When the two met in the middle of the arena, they each threw out one huge punch! The fists connected, a very immense and powerful shockwave sounded off and spread throughout the stands! A large crater formed where the two warriors where standing at, and also cracked around them as well!   Yugi quickly followed up with a strong punch to the kidneys, then a fierce uppercut to the face! Hugo took the blows well, but retaliated with a powerful standing stomp attack followed by a crouching, launching headbutt! Yugi took a lot of damage, but was still standing.   ‘This… isn’t… going well!’, he thought. Just then, a very sharp pain made itself known in the back of his head. Suddenly, he found himself back in the meadow and face-to-face with his evil self.   “You cannot finish the fight here! Let me take over, and I’ll end this bout!”, Demon Yugi declared.   Yugi shook his head, sweat on his brows and his face straining very much. He was panting hard as he replied, “No! I want to win this on my own!”. Demon Yugi shook his head in a pitying manner, knowing very well the current battle had weakened Yugi very much, both physical and mental. Suddenly, he punched Yugi hard in the face! The good one went down, while the evil one stood tall.   “You are weak enough as it is. Now, it is my turn to have some fun!”, he declared.   The world soon darkened, and the meadow faded into the darkness. Back in the real world, Hugo was puzzled on why Yugi had stopped attacking and was standing in a daze.   “Yugi?”, he asked. The crowd was wondering on what was going on, when something unexpected happened! Yugi was engulfed in a ebony-colored aura once again! His body trembled and shook with power, the ground beneath him cracking and shaking as well! Hugo covered his eyes, protecting them from the blinding black light! In a few moments, the light ebbed and faded away. The crowd gasped in awe, and that was when Hugo unshielded his eyes.   “What?! Who are you?!”, he exclaimed as he saw the new being standing before him.   The evil one grinned a very nasty grin and replied, “Hello, fool. My name is Demon Yugi, and you’re about to become one with the dirt.”.   For Tea and Co., this was the first time they saw evil in its purest form. Heck, even Marik and Malik’s evil were infantile compared to Demon Yugi! In both appearance and power. Ryu and the rest also were in awe at seeing Yugi in his Dark Hadou form.   ‘So… this is Demon Yugi.’, the Shokotan champion thought.   Ken, who was beside him, commented, “Ryu, this is bad. This guy even makes Akuma seem weak by comparison!”.   He was referring to the immense aura that Demon Yugi was emitting, and he was right. Back in the arena, Hugo was really stunned on what he had just witnessed. Demon Yugi’s smirk widened slightly as he motioned with his left hand to come forth. Hugo growled slightly at this newcomer’s arrogance, and once again charged back in! Demon Yugi just stood his ground, not moving at all. The wrestler performed another Charging Lariat, and it connected! Demon Yugi made no attempt to block the move, just took it head on. He was knocked onto his back hard, but made no attempt to get back up.   “Grrr. What is this guy trying to proving?!”, Hugo muttered to himself. Taking things into his own hands, he pulled the evil one back up and performed his signature move, the Moonsault Press! Grabbing Demon Yugi into a bear hug, he did a massive jump and flipped over in mid-air! Everyone was stunned by this show of agility, which seemed impossible for a man Hugo’s size. He came crashing back down, Demon Yugi under him and taking a very powerful blow. In fact, there was a human-shaped crater on where they landed. Hugo released the warrior and got up. All of a sudden, much to everyone’s shock, Demon Yugi started to actually chuckle!   “What?!”, was the reaction said by all. The warrior continued to chuckle, even though he was facedown in the dirt. Soon, it escalated into a full-scale, maniacal laugh! Demon Yugi pulled himself from the crater slowly, then turned around to face his opponent.   “Very good, for a weakling.”, he stated. He creaked his neck to get a few kinks out of it, showing to all that the moves had no effect! He grinned again evilly and whispered, “My turn.”.   (Author’s Notes: So, Demon Yugi is out no and going to fight! Will Yugi come to and try to stop his evil self before Hugo can be seriously hurt? Find out next time in the next chapter!   Yugi: Things are heating up big time, and DJ hopes that you enjoy it all so far!   Darien: He likes to make stories look and feel like the audience is either watching a movie or a great show. He’s like that.   DJ: Now, for the questions! What will happen next? You think Yugi can regain control and prevent Demon Yugi from causing mass destruction?
