Thanks to all whom like this story, and for supporting it too!   Yugi: And, as mentioned in Yugi- DOA Player?!, DJ is planning for a mega-crossover! He needs your help, however.   Darien: DJ has a lot of crossover ideas pouring into his head, thus its difficult for him to choose on when to make them. So, I hope you all understand.   Now, on with the fanfic!)  

Chapter 17

  Everyone stood in awe as they saw Demon Yugi now ready to fight! Rose appeared to Ryu, which didn’t surprise him one bit. “This is very bad, Ryu.”, she whispered fearfully.   Suddenly, they heard some familiar voices approaching them. The fighters turned to their right to see Yami and Co., running as fast as they could. When they reached them, the group stopped in their tracks.   Joey exclaimed, “Tell you guys, what’s going on?!”.   Tristen added, “Yeah! Why is Demon Yugi in control now, and not Yugi?!”.   Yami put in, “He makes a fine point! Yugi is very strong in the mind, and he wouldn’t have been overpowered this easily!”.   Yami knew this, for when he tried to take over Yugi’s body multiple times, Yugi was able to suppress him. Rose gave them the answers that they wanted.   She explained to all, “Yugi’s mind is very much exhausted right now, and for two reasons. The first, was his previous battle with Demon Yugi in his mind earlier on. True, Yugi had won. Unfortunately, it took a lot out of him.”.   The others listened to her intently. She continued, “Two, the fight now with Hugo. It has taken a toll on his physical and mental state. Since he went into battle before recovering fully from his fight with Demon Yugi, it put a lot of strain on him. Thus, that is how Demon Yugi was able to take over easily.”.   Mai then put in, “You mean to tell us, that Yugi was severely weakened by both fights?!”.   The psychic Street Fighter nodded her head and replied, “Yes. He took too much damage, and did not have time to recover properly.”. Ryu grimaced slightly as he remembered the time when he took on Zangief, and the Dark Hadou took him over while he was fighting him.   ‘If Rose is right, then that means that Hugo is now in big trouble!’, the legendary Street Fighter thought.   Demon Yugi smirked as he quickly dashed towards his opponent. Hugo was very much surprised to see the evil version of Yugi move so quickly! In less then a second, Demon Yugi was already face-to-face with Hugo! Quick as lighting splitting the heavens, Demon Yugi executed a powerful thrust punch with his left fist! It connected, sending Hugo flying towards the other side of the wall. It was surprising, because he was about thirty feet from that wall! Hugo was down on one knee, but he was still alive. He gingerly touched his now-bleeding nose, and was sure that it was not broken.   ‘How is it possible that he’s so strong?!’, the German wrestler thought incredulously. He got back up again, albeit with difficulty, and charged straight at Demon Yugi. The evil warrior just shook his head in a pitying manner.   “How wasteful.”, he said calmly.   As soon as the giant fighter was three feet from him, the evil one unleashed the awesome Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku (Hurricane Kick)! Hugo was sent sprawling to the ground hard as soon as Demon Yugi’s move connected! Shortly, he stopped his twister-like move and smirked widely at Hugo’s fallen body.   “Now, to have some real fun.”, he stated evilly.   Walking towards the fallen man, he heaved him back up forcefully. After that, he threw him over his shoulder in a classic karate throw! Everyone was now stunned silly, to see a small warrior just heaving a person as big as Hugo as if he was a lightweight! Hugo was slammed hard on his back, the fighter stunned completely. Demon Yugi once again heaved Hugo up, and executed the Joudan Skutou Geri, a very powerful forward kick! Hugo literally flew from the place he was staggering at, all the way back to the stonewall! Demon Yugi was completely dominating the match!   Tea, Mai, Serenity, Sakura, Juni, Juli, Karen, Chun-Li, Ishizu, and Rose were very much in awe at seeing the evil version of Yugi just manhandling Hugo! Poizin just entered the scene now, not believing on what she was seeing.   ‘This isn’t like Yugi! Even when he and Hugo were sparring all that time ago, Yugi was never one to go all out like this!’, she thought.   Ryu and Ken’s concern continued to grow with each passing minute. ‘This is not good at all! This evil side of Yugi… so powerful! Its almost equal to the good side’s power!’, the Shokotan Master thought.   He could sense that the ki of Demon Yugi was continuing to grow at an accelerated rate. ‘If this keeps up, Hugo won’t last much longer!’, he said to himself worriedly.   Suddenly, Serenity came up with an idea! “Say, everyone! I have an idea!”, she told them excitedly.   The fighters gave her their undivided attention. She inquired, “Yugi is somewhere inside Demon Yugi, right?”.   Rose nodded and replied, “Yes, he is still in there. Although, he is very much weak. His strength is returning, but its not enough to combat Demon Yugi.”.   Serenity continued, “I was thinking, why not try to give him of our own energy? To help him become strong enough to fight his evil self again!”.   Ishizu exclaimed, “That could very much work! We can give him some of our own life energy, and he might be able to become strong enough to take on that vile thing again!”.   Sakura then inquired, “Okay. Just how, pray tell, can we actually give our energy to him?!”.   Ishizu answered, “Though the Pharaoh, of course. Since he holds all seven Millennium Items, he has the power to enter people’s minds.”.   Yami’s eyes then widened considerably as the thought dawned on him. “Yes! I can do it! I can send us all to Yugi’s mind, and we can do the process directly to him!”, he exclaimed.   At this, nearly everyone jumped with joy. Tea was now very happy at this prospect. ‘Don’t worry, Yugi! Now, I can finally pay some of the deep debt I owe you!”, she said to herself.   The group streaked towards Seto’s VIP room, where they could get some privacy when the ritual was about to start.   “Now, remember everyone. I have never done anything like this before! I do not know what side-affects will occur, or even if this could actually work.”, Yami warned them all.   Seto shook his head and exclaimed, “I don’t care! I owe Yugi a lot more then I can actually say, and I’m not to going to waste this opportunity!”.   Juli chimed in, “Same here! I want to help Yugi very much! He’s very dear to me!”.   Sakura, Karin, and Juni voted in their sentiments exactly. So, it was to be done. The ones to go in and help Yugi were Karin, Sakura, Tea, Juni, Juli, Chun-Li, Rose, and Mai. The rest were staying behind, to make sure that Demon Yugi did not go totally out of control.   “Everyone ready?”, the ex-pharaoh asked.   They all nodded their heads, and Yami started to chant in ancient Egyptian. Slowly, a golden aura was cast over the entire lot. It soon thickened, and then blanked the entire room! Everyone was soon in deep meditation, allowing Yami to use his magic to enter Yugi’s mind. Meanwhile, on the field, Demon Yugi was still toying around with Hugo. The Germen wrestler was quickly losing his patience, as well as his health and energy. The giant attempted to grab the fiend for another Moonsault Press, but the sneaky devil just teleported out of sight. He actually teleported! Hugo then tried to stun him silly with his Giant Palm Bomber, but the nimble one just dodged every blow. This agitated the giant to no end, and it was not pretty. His moves were gradually getting sloppy, more predictable, and also less powerful.   “Time to end this.”, Demon Yugi said as he yet again dodged another powerful swing from Hugo.   The Street Fighter was breathing heavily, sweat pouring from his body in torrents and his body just aching all over with pain. Slowly, Demon Yugi started to glow in an ebony-colored aura. His eyes soon turned blood red, a sneer on his face that would have made everyone cringe in fear. His fists suddenly were pulsating in blood red energy, growing larger with each passing second!   “Time… to… DIE!!!”, the evil one declared out loud as he dashed towards the horror-stricken wrestler!   Everyone gasped in shock and terror as they saw Demon Yugi making his very first Super Move! He raised his fists in a striking motion, and exclaimed, “HELL’S FURY!!!”.   He connected with a right hook first, then just went all out at punching Hugo in every possible place! Hugo was taking a serious beating, and it was amazing on how he was still alive. After thirteen punches, Demon Yugi was about to deliver the final blow, when something happened. He just… froze. He froze in mid-punch, and everyone was wonder on why. Ryu and the others, from the Fighter’s Area, smiled in relief.   “That means that Yami and the others have gotten into Yugi’s mind!”, Ken exclaimed.   Ryu merely nodded, his focus on the evil Yugi. ‘This is it! This will decide if good is stronger then evil.’, he thought.   The nine brave souls fell through a seemingly endless tunnel of light, very much entranced by the pretty, multi-colored bits of light that passed by them. In a few moments, the world soon turned bright white and they all landed with a very hard “oomph!”.   Rubbing her sore butt, Sakura was the first to get up. She opened her eyes, and was soon amazed on where she and the others were at! They were in a large meadow field, black clouds filling the sky and lighting pouring out like a river. Thunder shook the heavens, making the ground shake a little with each rumble. Wind and rain whipped at all angles, which bothered some of the ladies.   “Is this really Yugi’s mind?!”, Mai shouted out as she rose with the others. She had to shout, for the whistling of the winds and the rumble of the thunder nearly drowned out her voice.   Yami exclaimed, “Must be! I see that it has changed over the years!”. Tea and Juni scanned the area, eyes squinted slightly because of the rain.   “Girls, over there!”, Juli exclaimed. The girls, plus Yami, turned their heads to the direction Juli was pointing at. What they saw took them by complete surprise! On top of a medium-sized hill, stood the being Demon Yugi. Near him, contained in a diamond-shaped lighting bolt prison was Yugi himself! The ladies rushed towards him, being careful not to alert Demon Yugi of their presence.   “Yugi!”, Sakura exclaimed quietly. Yugi turned to look at them from his entrapment, and the ladies and Yami saw his face. It was severely strained, almost to the breaking point.   “H-How did you girls get here?”, he asked in a raspy voice.   Ishizu answered, “With help from Yami, who is here.”.   Yami nodded his head towards his former hikari. “I-I’ve been trying to break free from this thing! But, it s-seems that I’m not strong enough.”, he admitted to him.   He felt ashamed, that after all of his training… he was now weak again. It brought back some painful memories.   Tea took his hand in her own and said, “Don’t worry, Yugi. We’ll get you out!”.   Yami was about to perform the energy transfer, when a powerful ebony-colored fireball blasted them all back! They rolled down the hill, but the Street Fighter ladies recovered quickly. Now, they were staring into the face of Demon Yugi. He smirked and shook his head.   He said, “Tsk, tsk, tsk. Now, you girls know better then that to crash a party.”.   Sakura got into her fighting stance, as did the rest. “The party is over, pal!”, Juni exclaimed.   Juli added, “Yeah! We’re going to get Yugi back in control, where he belongs!”.   Demon Yugi chuckled, as he descended down towards them. Yugi’s efforts to break free redoubled, as he saw that his evil counterpart was going to fight them! Karen took up her fighting stance and quipped, “Something funny, buddy boy?”.   The being chuckled again and answered, “Yes. Your pathetic attempt to help you friend here.”.   Sakura growled protectively in her throat, and took up her own fighting position. “The only pathetic one around here is you, ugly!”, she exclaimed.   Rose readied herself, but whispered to Yami, “Go, and heal your friend. We will keep him busy as long as we can, until he is ready.”.   The ex-pharaoh agreed with her, and he gathered up the remaining ladies soon after. “You heard her. Come on, we got to go.”, he told them.   They all nodded their heads, and the four tried to sneak away from the fight. Demon Yugi powered up, as did the rest of the ladies. “All who stand before me shall die.”, he declared. Chun-Li got into a fighting stance and replied, “We’ll just see about that, demon from Hell!”. A large bolt of lighting split the heavens, and that was the signal for the rumble to begin!   Demon Yugi took on Sakura and Karin first, both ladies naturally a lethal pair. Sakura tried to hit him with her version of the Dragon Punch, the Sho-ken. Karen moved in with her three-hit Hou Shou combo. Alas, the special moves were futile. Demon Yugi easily blocked the Sakura version of the Dragon Punch, and also withstood the three-hit combo hit! Both ladies growled in aggravation, but luckily for them, they had back up!   Juli gracefully executed her Sniping Arrow attack, a move similar to Cammy’s Cannon Drill move. At the exact same time, her partner/sister performed her powerful Cannon Strike! With Juni coming down from the air with a powerful drop kick, and Juli on the ground with a spiraling drill move, it seemed Demon Yugi was going to take some serious damage! Unfortunately, both moves failed as well. Demon Yugi teleported right before the Sniping Arrow could connect, and jumped up to intercept Juni from behind!   However, he would have succeeded in sending her to the hospital had it not been for Rose. The psychic beauty performed her Soul Fade, attempting to drain Demon Yugi of some of his energy. She succeeded in catching him and draining some of his energy, but it was too great for her to handle. The sheer power of his energy overwhelmed her, and she was forced to let go.   ‘Ugh! That’s some power!’, she thought just before she was decked to the ground with a hard right hook! Chun-Li rushed in with her Hyakuretsu Kyaku, known as the infamous Lighting Legs attack! Demon Yugi blocked all of the blur-like kicks, which surprised Chun-Li a lot. He soon backed away from the Chinese fighter, and was surrounded by the rest of them in a tight circle.   He smirked evilly and said, “Finally. A real challenge.”.   Meanwhile, Tea and the others were now at Yugi’s side. His face showed greater strain now, wanting to help his friends against the evil monster. Yami assured him that he would be free, and Yugi trusted him. “Okay, ladies. Let’s begin!”, he told the four women.   They nodded, and soon the ceremony was starting. Standing in a circle, with Yugi in the middle, Yami started to chant once again in ancient Egyptian. As he chanted the words, the girls’ bodies started to pulsate with green energy. Slowly, it seeped from their bodies and crawled its way towards Yugi. As Yami’s words started to get higher and more bolder, so did the energy start to build up inside of Yugi! He slowly began to feel himself being rejuvenated! After fifteen minutes of chanting, Yami knew it was enough.   He stopped, and the green energy stopped flowing. The ladies fell to the ground, exhausted completely. Just then, the sound of a barrier being shattered filled the air! The ladies, with just enough strength left in them, gazed up to see a glowing Yugi Moto! He was now standing tall, his energy and health refilled back to the max! He looked down at all of them, a tender look on his face. He bowed his head slightly and said, “Thank you all. I could not have done it without your help.”.   They were all just grateful that they could help him out, especially Yami and Tea. Tea whispered, “Think nothing of it, Yugi. I’m just… glad I was finally able… to repay you a little.”.   Yami, even though he was tired from the ceremony, knew what Yugi wanted to do next. “Yami, please take them all back. I can handle this now.”, Yugi told his friend. Yami complied, and quickly teleported the drained ladies back to their bodies in the real world.   Demon Yugi stood over the fallen Street Fighter ladies, proud of his handiwork. He lifted his right hand, and he charged it up with ebony-colored energy. “Now, die.”, he said flatly. He was about to deliver the final blow, when a firm hand gripped his fist! He turned to his left, and was very much amused to see that Yugi was now up and about.   “It would seem that those other pests healed you up.”, he stated with a light tone. Yugi’s stoic, serious face did not falter as he shoved Demon Yugi’s hand away. He then looked at the girls, his face now showing gratitude and tenderness.   “Thank you all for keeping him busy. Now, it is my turn.”, he told them softly.   Yami came back once again, and was about to teleport them all back, when Yugi leaned down and kissed Sakura on the forehead. “Thank you, Sakura.”, he whispered.   She felt her eyes brim with tears of joy, until she was teleported back to her body. Yami bowed down to Yugi one last time before leaving. When he left, Yugi and his demon self were alone together now. Demon Yugi smirked widely as he and his good counterpart circled each other.   He said, “So, just you and me now, eh? Hehehe. I’ll be sure to make this quick.”.   Yugi merely shook his head and replied, “I don’t think so. Your battles with both Hugo, and the girls here have put a serious strain on your mind. Just like what you did to me.”. He was right; Demon Yugi was breathing heavily, and he had multiple bruises and cuts on his body. Yugi got into a fighting stance, his face very serious now.   “Let’s end this now!”, he declared before running into battle!   (Author’s Notes: So, how do you like this one?! I hope you did!   Yugi: So, I’m going to get back in control!   Darien: Before we go on, here is a list of Demon Yugi’s Super Moves:   1.)    Hell Fury- Basically, it’s the evil version of Heaven’s Rage. A thirteen-hit combo, followed by a massive double-punch that sends the opponent high in the air! 2.)    Ebony Eraser- Calls forth the power of darkness, and millions of minor demons and monsters come forth to wreck havoc on the unsuspecting opponent. 3.)    Satan’s Return- The exact opposite of Hikari Angel, Demon Yugi sprouts leather wings and unleashes hellish energy on all he sees! 4.)    Secret Technique: Shun Goku Satsu- Known to all as the Instant Hell Murder, this move comprises of fifteen consecutive hits in one, faster-then-light blow! It hits on virtually every part of the body, either killing the victim or severely damaging him/her.   DJ: Now, for the questions for the Yugi fangirls! Would you try to heal Yugi up?
