[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Hello everyone! I would like to say thank you to the three reviewers and that I would have to ask you a tie breaking decision. That’s all.

Bakura: I don’t like the sound of it.

Be quite.

Bakura: Make me.

*sigh* Oh… Ryou!

Bakura: Alright!

May you do the honors of doing the declaimer.

Bakura: *curses* What’s her face doesn’t own the show or the characters, except for the characters that never appeared on your television screen.

… You could just say I don’t own the show and characters. Period.

Bakura: *shrugs*

Ch.12: Vacation pt.1

~2 weeks later~

“Finally! The long awaited vacation is here!” Said one of the students in Yami’s class.

“It’s only a vacation when school’s not in session.” Mrs. Gib said, walking in. “NOW SIT DOWN!” The student completely and quickly complied.

Yami smiled and shook his head slightly. ‘I have to agree though. We get the whole week off of school and Grandpa Mouto is out of town for the week…’ He smiled as he looked up at the board and wrote notes down quickly. ‘Which gives me and Yugi some time alone.’ His smile disappeared. ‘But, I have no idea if he feels the same way. And…’ He sighed as he watched an amusing site of a student being a smart ass to the teacher. ‘And I don’t want to lose this closeness we have now.’

“THAT’S IT!! I’M CALLING YOUR MOTHER RIGHT NOW!!!” Mrs. Gib said, making everyone do the ‘uh-oh’ or ‘oo’ sounds.

“No, please don’t tell my mom.” The student begged, but it was far too late to apologize.

‘Poor bastard.’ Yami thought as he continued writing down his notes.

~Lunch~

He walked to the library, only to see that Yugi wasn’t there. ‘Strange, he’s usually here before I walk in.’ He thought, then felt someone bump into him.

“Oh I’m sorry about that.” Yugi started to say then saw the older teen. “Hey Yami, sorry I was a bit late.”

Yami smiled. “First off, no harm done and second, it’s alright, I wasn’t waiting long.” He said as they walked over to their usual spot. “How’s your day so far?”

“Nothing much, but biology is really starting to kick my butt with all this work, it’s amazing that I got and maintain a ‘B’ in that class.” Yugi said, making Yami chuckle. “What about you?”

“In world history, I got to witness an amusing site of seeing a student’s parents being called up because he has been a lazy smart ass.” Yami said making Yugi laugh.

“I bet he deserved it.”

“He did.”

They both laughed.

~After school~

Yami waited by the locker room, since it wasn’t crowed with people and the library is closed after school. He tapped his foot and checked his watch now and then. ‘Any minute now.’ He thought as he heard the distant running of a person, and the running feet were getting closer until the squeak sound of rubber and marble were heard and the door opened.

“Sorry I’m late.” Yugi said, completely out of breath.

“Actually, you’re right on the dot.” Yami said as he walked towards the teen.

Yugi straightened himself. “So, shall we go?” He said.

“How about take a moment to catch your breath. You look exhausted, of course I would be if I had a class on the fifth floor.” Yami said.

“Very funny Yami.” He grabbed the other by the hand. “Now come on before we miss it.”

“Lead the way.”

*City*

They walked down to time square and found a map of the city on the wall.

“So, if we’re here, then…” Yugi said reading the directions.

“Where exactly are we going?” Yami asked.

“A movie theatre.”

“Why not use the one in the mall?”

“It’s the first day of the vacation week, it’ll be packed with a lot of people.” Yugi explained and grabbed the older

teen by the hand again and quickly walked to their destination.

When they got there, Yami raised an eyebrow. “Yugi are you sure this is the place?”

They were standing outside what looked like an old theatre, the one that looked as though they’d been around since the first movie came out, and was in good condition.

“Yes, I’m sure.” Yugi said. “Now come on.” He dragged the other, who rolled his eyes, and entered the theatre.

~After the theatre~

When they walked out of the theatre, they were trying to stop laughing.

Yugi calmed down a little and looked at the other. “See, that wasn’t so bad.”

“I have to admit, this theatre isn’t so bad. At least it’s cost effective.”

They walked to the busy streets of the city and just cruised around at the many shops the city had.

*Clothes store*

“Come on out Yami.” Yugi said outside one stall.

“I’m perfectly fine right here.” Yami said from the inside the stall.

“You can’t look that bad.”

“Why did you choose this outfit?”

“Just to see how it looks on you.”

“Then how come you can’t try on it yourself?”

“Oh, come on Yami, it’s not like we’re going to buy it.”

“You didn’t answer my question.”

“Please, pretty please with a cherry on top.” Yugi begged cutely.

The stall door opened, revealing Yami in a bright pink suit. “I hate it when you beg like that.” He said not

meaning it.

Yugi sticked out his tongue in a cute manner. “Well you were being too stubborn to show me the outfit.”

“O.K. you saw the outfit, now may I take it off.”

Yugi giggled, which made the other blush a bit. “Yeah.”

Yami shook his head, a bit amused he had to admit.

*Food Court*

Yami and Yugi sat down at the food court tables, both carrying a plate with a huge slice of pizza and a drink.

“So, what are we going to do tomorrow?” Yami asked as he took a bite of his slice.

“I was thinking about the amusement park that opened awhile ago.” Yugi said, unaware that the other frozed.

Yami remembered one of the many broken promises his mother made, but got over it in time to listen to Yugi

“Though, it might be full with a lot of people, since it’s the week vacation for some.” Yugi said as he took a sip of his soda.

“What ever you choose is fine with me.”

“There’s also the water park,”

Yami blushed, still needed to recover from the last time they were near water.

“We could walk around the beach,”

Yami visioned he and Yugi walking along the water’s edge and it was nearly sunset.

“But we have to at least stay at home one day.”

Yami imaged him and Yugi, alone in whatever room and kissing. ‘I need help.’

“Oh! There’s that Fall Festival that’s coming up.”

“Fall Festival?” Yami said tilting his head slightly on one side.

“You never heard of it?” It was Yugi’s turn to look confused.

Yami shook his head.

“It’ll be a lot of fun! You’ll like it.” Yugi said excitedly. “There’s games, food, trust me on this one.”

Yami smiled amusingly at the young teen’s childish antics, which is one of many reasons why he loves him.
