Stupid human lovers, traitors, and half-breeds, what was Attica talking about, they were all humans as far as he could tell and what was she talking about when she said half-breeds, that sounded like Hagred but as far as he could tell these two assassins were total muggles so what did they mean by half-breeds if until recently they had no knowledge of the wizarding world. Harry was about to ask but Hermione beat her to it by saying "what do you mean by human lovers and half-breeds that makes no sense whatsoever, and who are the Spirit Detectives". Then Algernon gave Attica a sharp look and explained, "Oh, well the Spirit Detectives are a group sponsored by the government to catch assassins like us, they have skills that can me in a sword fight any day, but it was 4 against 1 this time that's why I'm so pissed, I could probably take on 1 or even 2 but all 4 that no chance at all".

But Hermione still wasn't convinced because she pressed on by asking, "you still haven't told us what you meant by human lovers and half-breeds", Algernon gave Attica another look that burns and she looked immensely displeased at herself for some reason then Algernon waved dismissively and said "well we never could stand Spirit Detectives, for reasons you could probably guess, but we have several nicknames that for them and some of the lesser ones are human lovers and half-breeds, its an assassin thing". That seemed even enough for Hermione so they had a meager dinner of omelets and went to bed while Attica kept watch outside.

At about 1:00 am Harry was woken up by some very loud talking, he opened his eyes and saw Attica and Algernon arguing about something, he closed his eyes and listened intently to their argument "… I don't know what your so worried about Algernon, all we have to do is get them passports and hop a plain to their country and hand their for a couple 50 years then go somewhere else", "but its not that simple, after you let that slip earlier, and because Shadow went stupid and took the killing curse right in the face instead of coming with us, so now he's got to hide out until we ditch the humans, it would be very unusual if the curse that is supposed to kill doesn't work this time, so now the idiot got' a lie low until their gone, but then theirs the problem with the Spirit Detectives, they got very close today, I had to climb a tree and fake my own death to get away". Their was another pause than Attica asked "but its decided, were going to take them back, even Shadow is all for it, I just talked to him while I was out on watch". There was a bit of pacing and Algernon said "o.k. Lets go, but we better keep a low profile", then one of them went to the trap door and walked outside while another went over to bed and went to sleep

Harry wasn't sure what he had heard but he was under the impression that Algernon and Attica weren't all that they appeared, they were also talking as if they weren't human and Shadow was alive and hiding somewhere. As he drifted off to sleep again he made a mental note to mention what he had overheard to Ron and Hermione to see what the thought.
