Days after fighing Poseidon, Shun suddenly finds himself trapped in another dimension where the gods have spent the last twelve years trying to kill him at every turn. Aided by alternate forms of his own brothers and with the help of the strong-willed and over-protective Saint Lyra, Shun has to take the place of his own, much stronger counterpart and fight an opponent far closer to their own hearts than any they have ever faced. The gold saints are trapped and out of reach and Athena cannot help them. The only hope they have against the black army of Chryses lies in the gold saints' students and the knowledge left to them, but not even they have the power to defeat a rogue saint who has already killed the gods in his own dimension.
