I was leafing through one of my sketch books when I found the sketch that inspired this picture. A rather interesting drawing for me because it's the first fan pic I've done that concentrates on the back. The pose itself inspired me to showcase those scars of his, which in turn helped me to decide on the lighting. While working on this I couldn't help but reflect back on a scene from Tempest's "Lab Monkey"... Some music selections: Metallica's "Unforgiven", NIN's "Mr. Self-Destruct", and Rammstein's "Mein Teil". |
