Artist's Commentary
This was drawn in early November of 2006. This is the lead character for my story "Mechanica", which i plan to draw several years from now. Currently, my skills are not honed enough to draw the manga. His name, obviously, is Dante. I went through 5 different concepts before I came out with this. He originally had a long cloth collar that covered his chin and mouth, but I didn't think it matched the rest of the outfit, and added the rigged rim. |
