In the afternoon light, dust motes catch the sun and turn into sparks that die before they are noticed. Each one is a world... .... She, like every other creature, lives her life in a handful of distinct moments, each no larger than a particle of carbon. Comprised of these moments, life becomes an endless whole, an unseen chain. Likewise one human's life moves into the next human's life in one carbon moment, unending, eternal; and life is the pathway that becomes eternity... |
