Once again, I DO NOT and WILL NEVER own any part of Bleach or Inuyasha. I merely beg the forgiveness of the authors for twisting their characters and ideas to fit my sick needs.

NOTE: NO INUYASHA CHARACTERS WILL BE DEPICTED IN THIS WORK! I MERELY TOOK SEVERAL IDEAS TO SUPPLEMENT MY OWN!

“I've never heard you say that before.” I said as I put my hand on my hip. “Sounds a bit too cliché for you.”
“Does it?” he asked as he scratched the side of his face. “Yeah, I guess it does. Oh well.”
He shrugged and couldn't help but laugh. I shook my head as I turned and started to make my way towards where I had seen Ichigo and Ganju land. He slipped into step behind me, careful to keep his reiatsu repressed like mine so that we would be harder to find.
“Seriously though. Who are we going after first?” asked Honorable Ruler.
“Aizen.” I said firmly. “If we cut off the head the rest of the body will die.”
“How are we going to figure out where he is?” asked Honorable Ruler as I felt Ichigo's reiatsu spike.
“Shit!” I cursed angrily, suddenly realizing I was doing that a lot more lately. “They've already been found, and by someone with decent skills by the amount of reiatsu Ichigo's giving off. Let's hurry!”
We picked up our pace across the rooftops, my eyes constantly scanning for enemies. I kept checking for massive amounts of reiatsu, the red flag that would signal a Captain had decided to step in. Hoping that I wouldn't have to kill a Captain this early on, I glanced back at Honorable Ruler. He nodded, sensing my distress, as he cracked his claws. At least he was ready for a fight.
“Over there!” shouted Honorable Ruler as he stopped pointing in the direction I had seen Ishida and Inoue fall.
I quickly stopped, my mind weighing the situation. Making the decision in a split second I said, “We'll come back for them later.”
“Are you sure you just don't want to split up?” he asked, his golden eyes flicking over to me before flicking back to the other battle taking place.
“No. I may need you and it's too much of a drain to keep the kido up at that distance. Ishida and Inoue can take care of themselves. From what we've seen so far Inoue's powers will probably be enough to keep her safe and Ishida's a Quincy. They're not exactly pushovers. No, it's Ichigo I'm really worried about.” I said as he looked back over to me. “He's a sitting duck with all that reiatsu flying out of him.”
“He is Ryuken's son…” Honorable Ruler reasoned as he took a step and we slipped back into flash step.
“I knew you'd see it my way.” I said over my shoulder.
***
“Maybe we should have gone after Inoue and Ishida after all.” said Honorable Ruler, his arms crossed across his chest, as I paced angrily in a deserted alley.
“What do you want me to say!?” I asked, throwing my arms up in the air. “What do you want me to do!? Go back in time and tell myself to go after Inoue and Ishida!? Well, if I could go back in time there would be a lot of other things I would fix first!”
Honorable Ruler merely stared at me as I continued to pace, knowing I wanted to start a fight to alleviate some of my pent up anger. I snarled angrily as I kicked the wall, the pain in my toe doing nothing to help my attitude.
“Damn those kids to hell!” I growled to no one in particular as I massaged my toe with my other foot.
“Quiet.” said Honorable Ruler, his whole body tense.
I immediately listened to him, all my senses searching for whatever was approaching. I didn't have to wait long as a gigantic guy dressed in a Captain's coat flashed past, a little girl with pink hair perched on his shoulder.
“Was that Kenpachi?” I asked as I peeked around the corner.
“Ken-chan!” whined the little girl. “You're going the wrong way!”
“But you told me to go this way!”
“No! I told you to go that way!” answered the little girl and I couldn't help but look at Honorable Ruler to make sure that this was actually happening. I had heard that Captain Kenpachi's and Lieutenant Yachiru's sense of direction was bad, but this was unbelievable.
The look on his face told me he was just as close to laughing as I was as the two continued to argue. I bit down on my knuckles to keep myself from laughing as they ran past again, not even noticing we were there.
“That is so you and Urahara.” whispered Honorable Ruler as he walked up behind me, poking his head around the corner to watch.
When they were gone we both laughed before heading in the opposite direction.
“I wonder how he lost that eye of his.” said Honorable Ruler.
“I'm more worried about the bells. What kind of a man wears bells in his hair? I personally liked it better when he had his hair down.” I said as I looked over at him to see him staring at me with a questioning look.
“Please tell me we are not going to have a repeat of what happened with Ryuken.” he said, the seriousness of it almost making me laugh.
“Who knows?” I asked, licking my lips as I looked at him. “I heard he's pretty good in bed.”
“You are so gross.” he said as he pushed me away. “Sometimes I wonder where I get the patience to put up with you.”
“Come on!” I said playfully as I pushed him back. “You can't tell me that you never felt anything for Benihime!”
“It's a friendship, nothing else!” he said heatedly, looking away.
“Yeah, and I'm the queen of Soul Society.” I shot back, dancing around in front of him. “Admit it…”
“If I do, will you leave me alone?” he asked.
“Maybe…” I said in a sing-song voice.
“Hey, I found Ichigo and Ganju.” said Honorable Ruler, suddenly stopping.
“Where?” I asked as I turned around.
“There.” he said as he pointed to the intersection a few yards away.
I watched as they dragged one of the sewer covers away from its hole, a nervous looking shinigami helping them. Giving a silent prayer to Captain Shinji for giving me that charm, I started to make my way over to them.
“Hey! It's one of the intruders!”
“You gotta be fucking kidding me.” I said as I saw a mob of lower level shinigami came running at me.
Shooting a glance over at Ichigo and Ganju to make sure they were safety underground, I dashed away in the opposite direction. Slowing my pace as I to not lose them I concentrated my energy and slipped into flash step, darting back and attacking them without warning. I could see my silhouette of where I had been as I sent each of them flying with a kick and slipping back out when I had knocked all of them unconscious.
“Having fun are we?” asked Honorable Ruler as I dusted my hands off before stuffing them into my pockets.
“A little.” I said with a grin. “Now, let's go find those idiots before they get too far away.”
***
“The little fuckers.”
I stood at the edge of the sewer path, looking for Ichigo's reiatsu. Honorable Ruler stood near the ladder, his sleeve over his nose as the stench threatened to make him sick. I rubbed my forehead, a dull throb starting to form over my right eye as I tried to control my temper, Honorable Ruler's subtle behavior not helping anything.
“Can we leave?” asked Honorable Ruler, his voice muffled by the fabric.
“Yeah, we're not going to find them in this maze.” I said and Honorable Ruler sprang up the ladder. “You don't have to be so eager!”
I climbed up after him, the fresh air cleaning the stench out of my nostrils. When I was out I pulled the sewer lid back in place. I didn't want to give away that Ichigo and Ganju were in the sewers since they would be that much harder to find there.
“You smell awful.”
I turned around to see Yoruichi spring off a nearby building, a mischievous glint in her eyes. I flipped her off as the sewer lid fell into place, nearly crushing my other hand.
“Good to see you again Honorable Ruler.” said Yoruichi as she dipped her head, Honorable Ruler doing the same.
“You as well, Yoruichi.” he said respectfully as I stood and wiped my hands on my pant legs.
“Have you found anyone yet?” I asked, interrupting their conversation.
“No. I was tracking Ichigo and Ganju but it seems that they have escaped into the sewers.” said Yoruichi, looking at the sewer lid. “Probably for the best as they would attract far too much attention on the surface.”
“Are we going after the others then?” I asked as I squatted down.
“No. I can barely sense their reiatsu and it would only draw unneeded attention to us.” said Yoruichi as she turned around and started walking. “They should be okay for right now as long as they play it safe.”
“We heading for the hideout then?” I asked as I stood back up and started to follow her.
“Yes.” said Yoruichi over her shoulder. “From there we should be able to plan our next move.”
“At least someone here knows what she's doing.” said Honorable Ruler.
“You're a kiss ass.” I replied.
“I am not.” said Honorable Ruler indignantly.
“Are to.”
“Are not!”
“Are to.”
“Are not!”
“Enough!” shouted Yoruichi angrily.
“Are to.” I whispered and Honorable Ruler flipped me the bird.
“I didn't know you felt that way about me.” I said before blowing him a kiss.
“You're disgusting.” he said as he shook his head and dropped back a few steps.
It didn't take us very long to reach the hideout that Captain had built into the side of Sokyoku Hill. The sight of the huge zanpakuto standing there sent chills down my spine, a reminder of what I faced if I failed. I shivered a little as we entered the cool air of the hideout, the air smelling old from lack of use.
“Everything is just like I left it.” I said to no one in particular as I brushed back the cobwebs.
“Good. That means no one has yet to find this place.” said Yoruichi as she continued walking toward the training area.
“Do you plan on using the Tenshintai on Ichigo?” I asked, noticing the human sized doll on one of the shelves.
“Yes. I fear our success hinges on it.” answered Yoruichi as she stopped and turned to look at me. “Your bankai alone will not be enough I am afraid, especially if you're forced into a confrontation against several Captains.”
I glanced back at Honorable Ruler who was prodding the Tenshintai with a clawed finger. To date the only person who had ever mastered their bankai through the use of the Tenshintai was Captain, which wasn't promising. Both Yoruichi and I had used the Tenshintai, I myself going a little over the time limit and spending a month in the hospital because of it. If Ichigo failed… I didn't want to think about it even though that was probably going to be the outcome. Then, even if he managed to master his bankai there would be no guarantee that he would be able to use it effectively in battle.
“We're in deep shit.” I replied and Yoruichi laughed.
“While I may have chosen to word it differently, yes we are in `deep shit'.” said Yoruichi as she continued to the training area. “You should get some rest. You're going to need all the energy you can get if you're going to fight with Aizen.”
“Yeah.” I said absentmindedly as I held my hand out, allowing the kido that kept Honorable Ruler materialized to unwind.
When he was once again in his sealed form I continued on into the training area, the barren landscape similar to the one Captain had built underneath his shop. From where I was I could see Yoruichi was already dipping her paw into the hot spring, almost as if testing its warmth.
“You should take a swim!” I shouted as I walked over, Yoruichi pulling her paw out of the water.
“I will wait.” said Yoruichi. “One of us should rest while the other keeps an eye out for the others. I will take the first watch.”
“Aren't you generous.” I said as I started to strip, casually tossing my clothes into a pile.
“I will be out by the entrance should you need me.” said Yoruichi before walking away, leaving me alone at the pool.
Slipping into the water, I groaned as the hot water began to sooth away the aches in my muscles. I relaxed against the side of the pool, my hair floating on the surface of the water as I leaned my head back.
“Enjoying yourself?”
I slowly opened my eyes to see Ryuujin floating in front of me, sitting Indian-style half a foot above the steaming water.
“I was.” I said before closing my eyes again. “What do you want?”
“I was just curious to find out the reason why you're here instead of out there trying to find Aizen.” said Ryuujin as she picked at her teeth with a claw. “Just out of curiosity.”
“I can't kill him just yet.” I said calmly as I heard Ryuujin snarl.
“Why the hell not!?” snarled Ryuujin angrily.
“Because…” I started as I opened an eye. “If we kill him now all of Seireitei will be in an uproar and it will make it that much harder to save this Rukia and get out of here alive.”
“It just sounds like you're scared to me.” she grated and I opened my other eye.
“What do you want me to do?” I asked.
“I want you to kill that bastard Aizen.” said Ryuujin angrily as she glared at me. “Just like you said you would.”
“I will. Don't make any mistake about that.” I said evenly as I leaned forward. “Now, if you don't mind I would like to get out.”
She growled and muttered something under her breath, but I didn't really care. Aizen would be dead by the time we left; I would make sure of that.
I stood up and wrung out my hair before stepping out of the pool. Not bothering to dry myself off, I put my uniform back on and started to walk back towards the entrance. I felt the familiar tug in the back of my mind as Ryuujin settled back in, her resentment fouling my own mood.
“That didn't take very long.” said Yoruichi from her position at the door.
“Did it have to?” I asked as I sat down next to her.
“Get some rest.” said Yoruichi.
“I'm not tired.” I said as I leaned forward and rested my elbows on my knees.
“What will you do when you see Aizen?” asked Yoruichi as she looked over at me.
“I will kill him. There is no alternative.” I said. “The Hollow inside of me will have it no other way and truth be told, neither could I.”
“I am curious. How did it happen?” asked Yoruichi.
“It was a mutual thing. We both want Aizen dead and so we agreed to combine powers until that happens.” I answered.
“You didn't really answer my question.” said Yoruichi.
“I was wounded and looking for a place to hide. A Hollow attacked me as I ran and I ducked into the hole it had created to get into Soul Society. Once in Hueco Mundo I just ran, killing anything that tried to attack me. When I was near death she appeared and it happened.” I said, the whole thing replaying itself in my mind.
***
“What do we have here?”
I bit back a cry of pain as I tried to move, the wound from Tosen's Crimson Locusts opening back up again. One hand covered the wound while the other closed around Honorable Ruler, warm blood seeping around my fingers through the makeshift bandages. My resolve strengthened and I gritted my teeth, determined to survive so I could return to Soul Society and kill Aizen.
“Leave before I kill you.” I said before looking up, my heart stopping when I saw the Hollow standing before me. “Fuck.”
“Kill me? Don't make me laugh shinigami.” said the dragonlike Vasto Lord as she squatted down in front of me. “You're already half-dead yourself.”
“That's all I need to kick your sorry ass.” I retorted.
“You're brave, I'll give you that.” said the Hollow as she grabbed me by the neck. “But your stupidity may cost you your life.”
“I can't die here.” I choked as I felt my air being cut off.
“Why is that?” she asked, letting up a little bit so I could speak. “Not that I really care or anything.”
“There… there is someone I have to kill.” I said, a series of coughs beginning to rack my body. “I cannot rest until I kill Aizen Sosuke.”
To my surprise she let go of me, her eyes thoughtful as she stared at me.
“Interesting.” she said as she scratched the side of her face. “You may have just saved your life shinigami.”
“What do you mean?” I asked, tasting blood in my mouth.
“I also have an interest in the death of Aizen Sosuke.” said the Vasto Lord.
“Why?” I asked.
“He is gathering Hollows from all over to build an army of Arrancar. As powerful as I am I do not stand a chance against him and I have no desire to bow down to some power hungry shinigami.” she growled angrily.
“How do I fit into this?” I asked, her eyes staring at me in hunger.
“It is said that a Hollow's power increases exponentially if they gain shinigami powers and the same goes for a shinigami who gains Hollow powers. Your reiatsu is strong. If we were to combine powers I'm sure we could kill Aizen.” said the Hollow as she stood back up. “What do you say?”
I closed my eyes, knowing I didn't have much choice. If I didn't take this offer I would either be eaten, bleed to death, or live and find my death at the hands of another Hollow. I swallowed before opening my eyes and holding out my hand.
“You have a deal.” I said as the Vasto Lord eyed my bloody hand.
“Good.” she said as she grabbed it and her reiatsu exploded around me.
***
“It's been a good while now.” I said as I rested my chin in my hand. “…since I started living in schizophrenic hell.”
“Now you know why Urahara was told to destroy the Hogyoku.” said Yoruichi sagely. “As I'm sure Honorable Ruler has reminded you, shinigami and Hollows were never meant to co-exist.”
“It seems like every day.” I said, my eyelids already starting to droop. “Everyday…”
“Sleep.” said Yoruichi, more firmly than before. “I'll wake you up in a few hours and you can take your watch then.”
“No. You deserve to sleep before I do.” I said as I looked over at her.
“Nay.” returned Yoruichi, her golden eyes slowly turning towards me. “Your demeanor and the circles under your eyes show that you have not been sleeping well lately.”
“If I go to sleep, what will you do for entertainment?” I asked, not willing to drop this.
“I will be fine.” she said, her tail flicking absently every few seconds.
“If you say so.” I said tiredly as I lay back, folding my hands behind my head.
***
“Wake up!”
I shot into a sitting position, half drawing Honorable Ruler out of instinct. Blinking my eyes at the bright morning light I suddenly realized that Yoruichi never woke me up to replace her at the watch.
“You never woke me up last night.” I mumbled absent-mindedly and Yoruichi swatted me, actually putting some force into it.
“Knock it off, this is serious.” she said, her tone echoing her words.
Immediately I straightened and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as Yoruichi laid out the situation.
“Both Chad and Ichigo are releasing incredible amounts of reiatsu and I fear that they both are up against Captains.” said Yoruichi and I couldn't help but chew at my bottom lip.
“Who do you want me to help?” I asked as I quickly got to my feet and tucked Honorable Ruler into my obi.
“You will take Chad while I will help Ichigo.” said Yoruichi as I opened the door and glanced outside to make sure no one was around. “Bring him back here if you can.”
“Yes.” I said before slipping into flash step, beginning my race across time across the Seireitei to save one of my charges.
Knowing that Sado's and Ichigo's movements had raised the alarm I knew I had to be very careful. At a distance I looked like a regular shinigami in the Gotei 13, but once anyone got a good look at my uniform they would see that wasn't true. Plus, all the Captains and Lieutenants had probably been warned about me by now and that wouldn't help me blend in any better.
“Sometimes I wish I had never entered the Shinigami Academy.” I muttered angrily as I blurred across the buildings, barely touching down before slipping back in.
You know, if you just let me out for a little bit…” started Ryuujin, but I cut her off before she could continue.
No!” I snapped angrily. “We came here to save Rukia, not destroy the Seireitei!”
Pardon me for thinking that doing that would make this easier.” snapped Ryuujin back, not really angry as she was hoping that I would slip up in anger and make it easier for her to take over.
“Shit.” I swore quietly as I felt Sado's reiatsu spike before declining just as sharply. “Shit!”
It only took me a few more minutes to reach the location of the battle and I couldn't help but marvel at the damage. Captain had told me that Sado's arm was quite powerful, but I never would have guessed it was capable of something like this. My gawking ended when I saw a group of what appeared to be 4th Division paramedics surrounding Sado and I began to breathe a little easier. His reiatsu was low, but they wouldn't have called in the paramedics if they didn't plan on keeping him alive. Also, the 4th Division would be more prepared to save him than me or Yoruichi should his wound prove to be nasty. Plus, I knew where the 4th Division hospital was when we were ready to break him out.
“We're finished, Lieutenant Ise.” said one of the paramedics as the rest of them finished arranging Sado on a stretcher.
“Good. We'll contact the 4th Division when we're ready to question him.” said Nanao as she pushed her glasses back up and started to walk away.
From what I remembered Nanao Ise was Shunsui's Lieutenant in the 8th Division. She didn't look like she had changed much as her Lieutenant badge was still tied around her arm and she seemed to be carrying the same book. Seeing all that I needed to see I turned and started to walk away, preparing to slip into flash step and return to Yoruichi.
“Lieutenant Ise.” said the paramedic, his voice sounding a little hesitant. “Is it true that Captain Aizen is dead?”
My heart skipped a beat and I felt my mouth go dry as I heard this. I stopped and ran back up to the ledge of the building, creeping as close as I could without being found.
“Yes.” said Nanao simply as she continued to walk away, her reiatsu still shivering a little from what I guessed was shock. “And we plan on questioning him to see if he and his friends are responsible.”
“Oh no.” I breathed as I moved back from the ledge.
Aizen was dead and they were blaming the death on us. Even I could see that was utter bullshit as no one in our group except for me and Yoruichi were powerful enough to kill him, and I was pretty sure Yoruichi wouldn't be stupid enough to do such a thing. The only thing I could think of that could have possibly happened was another Captain had committed the murder or Aizen was setting the stage for something big. Checking to make sure the paramedics had left, I quickly drew Honorable Ruler and cast the kido that would give him physical form.
“Aizen is dead?” he asked me incredulously as he finished forming.
“It just doesn't seem right.” I said as I scratched my head. “Aizen isn't weak enough to be killed by some random person. If he really was murdered it would have taken someone of a decent reiatsu to pull it off.”
“My guess is that he's using his zanpakuto to create the illusion that he is dead.” said Honorable Ruler.
“But why? What would his reason be?” I asked as I ran my hand through my hair.
“We should return to Yoruichi and report Sado's capture.” said Honorable Ruler and I nodded in agreement. “We can think about Aizen later.”
We started back towards the hideout, a thousand thoughts whirling through my mind. I couldn't help but dwell on the apparent death of Aizen and what such a thing meant for us. Not really paying attention to my surroundings, I jumped and automatically reached to my waist when I heard a loud cry of “Ken-chan!”
“What was that?” asked Honorable Ruler, not noticing my reaction as I let my hand drop.
“I don't know, but that's a pretty massive reiatsu over there. That could be Ichigo's opponent.” I reasoned, my curiosity starting to get the better of me. “It actually kinda feels like Kenpachi's reiatsu.”
“You're just saying that because you want it to be him.” said Honorable Ruler, obviously annoyed. “I don't see why you're attracted to guys like that.”
“I am not attracted to him!” I shouted angrily as I kicked a rock at him. “I'm just interested to see if Ichigo managed to beat a Captain, that's all. Plus, he's a Kenpachi! Not just anyone can beat them.”
“Sure, and I'm the King of Soul Society.” muttered Honorable Ruler as I started walking towards the sound.
“Good. We might need that influence if we get caught.” I threw back as he started to follow me.
“Remind me again why I'm stuck with you.” said Honorable Ruler as Lieutenant Yachiru came into view, her little body perched over what I guessed was Kenpachi's.
I stopped at the edge of the building where Yahciru was crying over the body of her Captain, his blood pooled on the cement surface. She looked up at us as we slowly approached, wiping away her tears with her sleeve.
“Are you here to save Ken-chan?” she asked and I could feel my heart tear, knowing that if I helped this man I was helping the enemy.
“No, but I'll try.” I admitted as I kneeled down next to her before turning to Honorable Ruler. “I'm gonna need you to return for this.”
He simply nodded and I let the spell go, quickly sheathing him before turning to the matter at hand. I could still remember the healing kido that I had learned at the Shinigami Academy, but I had never really paid attention to any of it. I had never really paid attention to anything at the Academy, but healing kido was one of the things I had never really gotten the knack of. Looking at the task ahead I couldn't help but swallow at the fact that if I screwed up this guy would be horribly maimed for the rest of his life.
“Here we go.” I said as I held out my hands and let the reiatsu flow, concentrating it at the huge gash on the left side of his torso. “How the hell did this happen?”
This seemed to revive the little girl a bit as a light returned to her eye as she said, “Ken-chan got in a fight with Ichi-chan and Ken-chan says Ichi-chan won, but I don't think so since Ichi-chan said he was fighting with his zanpakuto and Ken-chan just fights by himself.”
“Ichigo did this!?” I asked, quickly reining my reiatsu back in as I felt it slipping away.
“Yeah. He's all bloody just like Ken-chan, but hopefully he'll get better soon and they'll be able to fight again.” said the little girl and I couldn't help but match her smile.
“Shit. I guess Ichigo does have potential.” I said as I looked at my work, noticing that a lot of the blood had stopped and Kenpachi's breathing had improved. “If we're gonna get anywhere we're gonna have to bandage him up somehow.”
“I called for Captain Unohana so she should be here soon!” said Yachiru cheerfully and I quickly looked around.
While Captain Unohana was known far and wide for her healing skills she had to have some fighting ability to make it to the level of Captain. Plus, it wouldn't do Sado any good if Soul Society's best healer was stuck in the same condition as him.
“Hey… you look familiar…” said Yachiru as she scratched the side of her face. “What's your name?”
“Do you have any bandages or anything?” I asked, trying to changed the subject as I let the kido slip away, immediately regretting it as the wound started to open back up. “Fuck!”
Quickly repairing my work, I held the kido with one hand as I reached inside the little pouch Captain had made for me to grab my spare obi. The pouch itself was proof of my Captain's genius as it was no bigger than regular traveling pouch but it could hold an infinite amount of mass, or at least that's how the theory went. Quickly shoving aside all the other stuff I had stashed in there I found my spare obi and pulled it out.
“Alright, you're gonna have to help me get this coat and haori off of him.” I said as I gripped the fabric in my teeth and attempted to tug his right arm out of its sleeve.
“Okay… um, Big Belt-chan!” said Yachiru and I couldn't help but look at her.
“Big Belt-chan?” I asked as we managed to free his arm.
“Yeah, Big Belt-chan!” she said happily as she darted to the other side and took out the other arm.
Once he was freed from the blood soaked fabric I wiped away most of the blood with his Captain's coat so I knew exactly what I was dealing with.
“Okay, I'm gonna need your help holding him up a little bit so I can wrap this around his chest.” I said as I slid a hand underneath him.
“His name is Ken-chan and my name is Yachiru!” said Yachiru and I held back a laugh.
“Okay, I need your help lifting Ken-chan a little bit so I can wrap this around him.” I said and Yachiru managed to lift him with surprisingly little effort. “That's good.”
Dropping the kido I quickly looped the white fabric around his chest, the pressure on the wound and the scab I had made keeping most of the blood inside now. Leaving myself a little slack I tied the final knot, careful not to tie it too tight as to cut the blood off completely or constrict his breathing.
“Now put him down.” I said and we lowered him back down so that he was resting on the pavement. “And I didn't expect it would take you so long to arrive, Captain Unohana.”
I slowly got to my feet and turned around to see Captain Unohana standing at the edge of the building, her Lieutenant Kotetsu Isane standing next to her. A guarded expression was on her face as she looked at me, Yachiru looking back and forth between us as we continued to stare at each other.
“Reijin Hirameki. I never would have thought you would have returned to Soul Society.” said Unohana calmly as her Lieutenant hovered at her elbow. “I feel obliged to inform you that Yamamoto-san has given all the Captains the order to execute you on sight.”
“Doesn't really surprise me.” I said as I wiped my hands on the bloody Captain's coat in front of me. “Anything else Captain or shall I just take my leave?”
“Wait a second!” shouted Isane as she drew her zanpakuto and charged.
I couldn't help but smile at the fact that this girl thought she had a chance against me. Captain Unohana merely watched as I jumped backwards, clearing the edge of the building and dropping down to the street below. I slipped into flash step just before Isane's head cleared the edge, slipping out further down the street so that I was out of sight. I quickly looped around and continued on my way, a grin spreading across my face.
If Yamamoto wanted to raise the stakes I'd be more than happy to match them. They were more than welcome to try and kill me. That is, if they could beat me first.

Once again, hopefully we'll be seeing some smut in the next few chapters. Depends on how fast I decide to cut to the action and how I'm feeling at the time.

Also, hopefully the next chapter will be up soon. It seems I never have time lately to just sit down and write so please be patient.
