To the readers/reviewers: Konnichiwa, minna!! I know I should be working on the sequel to "The Words In the Heart," but I can't just leave this idea pestering me all day! So hope you will enjoy reading it! Also you might not like the pairing of the CCS crew, but it'll work better this way. Gomen-nasai! Also, almost everybody here are prince and princesses except Tomoyo, Nakuru, Yuki and Eriol, they are going to be dukes and duchesses instead of prince and himes. So anyways here it goes!

A Bit of Info On This Fanfic

Setting: In the medieval time. Think of peaceful green fields, rushing rivers and things like that.

Cast of characters:

~ The Kinomoto Family ~

Fujitaka - Father to Touya and Sakura. Also ruler of the Kinomoto Kingdom. Half-reincarnation of Clow Reed

Nadeshiko - Mother of Touya and Sakura. Wife of King Fujitaka. Queen of the Kinomoto Kingdom (Deceased)

Touya - (23) Prince of the Kinomoto Kingdom. Kidnapped (or thought to be kidnapped) but not magically (kidnapped)

Sakura - (16) Princess of the Kinomoto Kingdom. A carefree, loving girl who doesn't care about her appearance. Has crush on the present Duke of Tsukishiro. Because of her brother's disapperance she is now the heir to the throne

~ The Li Family ~

Yelan - Mother to Fanren, Fuutie, Feimei, Shiefa, and Syaoran. Also current ruler of the Li Kingdom. Has magic. Husband is deceased

Li Sisters - Their names are Fanren, Fuutie, Feimei, and Shiefa. (S.N. If you know who is the oldest and so on please tell me!) Daughters of Yelan and older sisters to Syaoran / Xiao Lang. Has magic

Syaoran/ Xiao Lang - (17) Prince and heir to the Li Kingdom. Has magic and … I'll keep it a secret. You will have to read to find out

Meiling - (16) Cousin of the Li sisters and Syaoran. Has no magic. Was engage to Syaoran before he disappeared and is now begging to go look for him. Still loves him and would do anything to be with him again

Sonomi - Former Duchess of Daidouji. Husband is dead.

Tomoyo - (16) Duchess of Daidouji. Heir to the title of Duchess and also the land of Daidouji.

Misako Tsukishiro - Former Duke of Tsukishiro. Grandfather of Yukito. Is always traveling

Masaya Tsukishiro - Former Duchess of Tsukishiro. Grandmother of Yukito. Is always traveling

Yukito Tsukishiro / Yue - (23) Duke of Tsukishiro. Was best friend of Prince Touya before he disappeared. Loves to eat. Is also Yue

Chiharu Mihara - (16) Princess of the Mihara Kingdom. Also heir to the throne. Cousin of Prince Takashi of the Yamazaki Kingdom. Always has a mallet with her. (S.N. Another Akane-chan!! Yeah!!!)

Takashi Yamazaki - (17) Prince of the Yamazaki Kingdom. Heir to the Yamazaki throne. Also known to Chiharu as "The Prince of Lies" Cousin to Princess Chiharu. Always get mallet on the head by Chiharu.

Naoko Yanagisawa - (16) Princess of the Yanagisawa Kingdom. Heir to the throne. Lover of scary stories and ghosts.Scares Sakura with ghost stories. (S.N.*shivers*)

Rika Sasaki - (16) Princess of the Sasaki Kingdom. Heir to the throne. A sweet, loving girl. Also the most mature. And sorry R + T lovers, but they won't work out in my fic.

Eriol Hiiragizawa - (17) Duke of Hiiragizawa. Flirtatious with many women. Always calm and mysterious. Knows magic. Half-reincarnation of Clow Reed

~ Guardians ~

Kero / Cerberus - Guardian Of the Seal. Gets power from the sun. Is one of Sakura's guardians and is the one who appointed her Cardcaptor. Looks like a stuffed animal!!

Yue / Yukito - Also Sakura's guardian. Gets power from the moon. Is going to give Sakura the

Final Judgment when it's time. Is also Yukito

Spinel Sun - Eriol's guardian. Gets power from sun also. Also looks like a stuffed animal!

Ruby Moon / Nakuru Akizuki - Eriol's guardian. Is also disguise as Ruby Moon, a duchess. Visits the Kinomoto kingdom every 2 weeks. Before Touya disappeared she loved to annoy him and show that she's better at everything. Might also have a crush of Touya... maybe...

~ Other characters ~

Terada - Forgot his first name. Is the teacher of grammar and history

Kaho Mizuki - A mysterious teacher for Sakura. Always has a gentle, but powerful aura around here.

Medrina - Wants the Kinomoto kingdom. Magically kidnapped Xiao Lang and trained him to... can't say or it'll give away the secret

There might be more new characters, but I think I covered the basics! Okay, I know I didn't cover the basics since even I don't know who's going to come in the story or not since I'm making this up along the way. Hehehehe..... well, let's move on!

STARLIT DESTINY

PROLOGUE - DISAPPEARANCE

In the Li kingdom, there was a celebration for Prince Xiao-Lang's 10th birthday. He was going to be the future heir to the royal throne. Their kingdom was the largest in all of China and they were never defeated in battle, so being the future heir to the throne was something to be proud of. All the guests were already there, waiting for the moment where the prince was suppose to make his appearance. (S.N. *Giggles* More like DISappearance! Um... don't mind me!!)

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!" Prince Xiao-Lang screamed as he ran as fast as his legs would let him!

He ran down the red-carpeted stairs on the right side, which was the mirror image of the staircase of the left on which his sisters ran down. The stairs looked like a half-circle that meets in the middle.

"Come back here, little brother! We still have to dress you up!!" yelled the 4 very energetic (and annoying) sisters of his.

"No!!" Xiao-Lang yelled as he ran into the garden to get away from Fanren, Fuutie, Feimei, and Shiefa.

The 4 Li sisters stopped and pouted. They stopped chasing Syaoran even though he was still running.

"Xiao-Lang! Stop!!" they all screamed at him, but he already disappeared into the garden.

~ XIAO-LANG'S POV ~

<Whew, I finally got away from them.>

I looked around and found myself in a part of the garden I've never seen before. It was covered with sakura trees and peonies, my favorite. The sakuras, though, were gently drifting to the ground when a light summer breeze to cool the heat of the day blew by. A sakura drifted towards me and I held out my hand to catch it. I bend down to pick a peony and put it together with the sakura. I walk around, with the sakura and peony still in my hand, and see a glowing stone on the ground. Being curious, I went over and picked up the stone. The next thing I knew I wasn't in the garden anymore I was in... (S.N. That was a short POV! Let's go back to all the party guests, now!!)

~ END OF XIAO-LANG'S POV ~

~ NORMAL POV ~

"Did you see the prince anywhere?" Queen Yelen asked a guard standing nearby.

"No, your majesty," the guard replied, bowing.

"Send people out to look for him. It's almost time for the celebration to begin!"

"Right away, your majesty!" the guard said as he hurried away.

They searched high and low for the prince and they couldn't find him anywhere. The called his name, but no response was heard. All they found was his crown in the garden. Everybody was in a despair because now they lost their only heir. Yelen, who was determined to get her son back, send their army to go search for the lost prince. She send messengers to nearby kingdoms to be on the lookout for the prince. So day after day they waited for some news of Xiao-Lang, and days turned into months and months turned into years and still no sign of the lost prince. Hope wasn't lost... but it's beginning to fade.

A small, glowing sky-blue ball of light came into her hands. She lifted her hands up and let it float softly and gently to the oblivious Xiao-Lang. It hovered above him for a while before slowly engulfing him into the blue light. Xiao-Lang didn't even have time to gasp and fight it off. His sword dropped onto the floor in a clatter and when the light finally disappeared XIao-Lang had a blank look on his face.

"Do you know who you are?" Medrina asked, while smirking evilly.
