I: Watch the Sky:

Sakura kept looking up at the sky.

“What'cha looking at?” Spike asked. His wife shook her head. The cowboy looked up himself. Not much to look at. It was just the sky, same as always. Spike looked at the tenshi-chi. He reached out and shook her on the arm.

“Hey! Hey!”

His wife snapped out of it and turned her head. “Hm?” She blinked at him.

“What were you looking at?” Spike asked. Sakura shrugged and shook her head. The cowboy gave her an odd look. She's been acting strange lately. Well, stranger than usual. Spike had his questions but he wasn't too concerned about it.

“I thought I heard something,” she said at last.

“Heard something, huh?” Spike asked. “Heh.” She didn't elaborate. The cowboy wasn't counting on her to anyway. He was used to her odd behavior by now. He even found it, he dare say, rather endearing at times.

“We have to get going. Come on,” he said. Spike took hold of her wrist and pulled her along. Sakura looked up at the sky again. Where was that low hum coming from?

He floated through space with the song as his only guide. So close but always so far away. He closed his non-existent eyes. Can such singing be so beautiful? Sound didn't exist in space but he could still hear the song deep in the pit that was supposed to be his soul. He couldn't remember the last time he felt warmth. He didn't even know what it was. Maybe he did and lost that memory with the rest of him.

He's lost track of how long he's been flying through space. He didn't know how long it was going to take. All that he knew was that he had to keep following that singing. Even that wasn't too reliable. Sometimes that beautiful song would cut out mid-note. He would know when he felt cold. If he still had emotions, he would probably feel sad. As of right now, he didn't know why he would care. Why was he following some strange song anyway? All that he knew was that he had to keep following that song.

The notes were starting to fade out in the distance. Oh no. It's going away again. No. Come back. Come back. And then the song was gone again. He began to feel cold again. At least now he knew that he was going in the right direction to find the song. His body floated toward where he last heard it.

Spike and Sakura made it back to the Bebop. Something on the door caught the tenshi-chi's attention.

“Hey, Spike, what's that?” she asked as she pointed ahead of her.

“Huh?” he asked. The cowboy looked and spotted a sign on the door. The couple walked over for a closer look. Two words were written in two languages in red.

Panic Carefully

“What the hell is this?” Spike asked with a confused look on his face. Sakura's eyes glazed over as she reached for the door.

“Hey! What are you doing?” he asked. His voice might as well have been miles away. Sakura's fingertips touched the door and it slid open.
