A/N: Hey, new poem! Made it in 7 minutes at 11:45 pm for no apparent reason. Ok, I was thinking of this guy, but that's a different story.

What Does It Mean To Be In Love?

What does it mean to be in love?

Do you feel your heart light as a dove?

Or is it that feeling of butterfly wings,

Caressing your body with such beautiful things?

Maybe it's when your heartbeat pounds

So loud in your ears, cancelling all other sounds.

It might be the dreams when you sleep at night

Where you two are inseparable without a fight.

Sometimes it's the feeling that arises

When they show up with unexpected surprises.

It must be the gaping, aching hole that appears

When they leave you to all of your hidden fears.

What does it mean to be in love?

Is it anything that I've stated above?

Or maybe a mix of all of these questions asked.

Hopefully I'll know, though these feelings stay masked.

Ah… nothing like venting feelings you weren't aware of through poetry. Seriously, poetry is my life. Without it, I probably wouldn't be sane. Ok wait, I'm already not sane… Well, I wouldn't be able to live in a normal society without it. ^^;;;
