Legend has it that when the Seven Keys of Pyron are brought together, they will open a portal and release the god of the Apocalypse Pyron into the plane. Now, the legend is coming true, as Morrigan and her allies want to release Pyron into the world as they begin to gather the Seven Keys of Pyron. It’s up to Gohan and his friends to prevent Pyron from being released into their world.

ZeroFox: I present to you, my very first fanfic on fanfiction.net. It's a Dragonball
Z/Darkstalker Warrior crossover. Legend has it that when the Seven Keys of Pyron are
brought together, they will open a portal and release the god of the Apocalypse Pyron
into the plane. However only the bravest and truest of warriors will be able to defeat the
dreaded god. Now, the legend is coming true, as the servants of darkness want to release
Pyron into the world as they begin to gather the Seven Keys of Pyron. It's up to Gohan
and his friends to prevent Pyron from being released into their world. Mirai, cue the

It was a peaceful evening in the wilderness as Piccolo was calmly meditating
on top of a high bluff. “Concentrate your energy, focus your mind on your objective,” he
coached himself while his whole body began to give off a white aura. Just then the
Namekian felt a dark energy coming from behind him as he stopped his meditation and
calmly stood up off the ground. “I can sense that you are there, whoever you are,” he said
in a calm, yet gruff tone. As if on cue, a cloaked figure rose up from behind the bluff and
landed just a few feet from Piccolo. “It's been a while since I last saw you, I forgot that
you could sense anybody with some sort of energy Ma Junior,” stated the cloaked figure
as the Namekian let out a huff, recognizing that his speaker was a woman from the tone
of her voice.
 
 
“Only a handful of people know me by that name,” he stated before turning to
face the cloaked figure; “I have a few questions I want to ask you. How do you know
who I am, why are you here, and who are you?” The cloaked figure then let out a small
chuckle, angering the Namekian fighter; “Stop laughing and answer me!” “I know
everything about you Ma Junior, or would you rather have me call you Piccolo, or rather
Kamicollo,” began the cloaked figure; “I know that you fused with the Guardian Kami,
making you god and also you are the reincarnation of the Demon King Piccolo Damioah,
making you the devil.” Piccolo froze with shock when he heard the cloaked figure say
that as he then became even angrier.
 
“Only three people know that about me!” he shouted; “How do you know
these things about me? And what do you want with me?” “I want you Piccolo!”
exclaimed the cloaked figure; “I'm here to claim you as my own!” “What do you mean?”
growled the Namekian fighter. “You are the Half God-Half Devil Key, one of the seven
keys of Pyron,” stated the cloak figure; “I'm here to collect you and the other six keys so
that I may open the gateway and release the dreaded mighty god of destruction, Pyron,
back into this plane.” After the cloaked figure said that, two bat wings sprung out from
behind her as her right hand began to glow a dark greenish color. “And to answer the
question of who am I? Well, let's just say I'm an old friend of yours,” said the cloaked
figure in a mocking tone before getting into a fighting stance, “Now get ready to defend
yourself Piccolo because I'm coming for you!” “Oh yeah? Well I won't go down so
easily without a fight!” shouted Piccolo, charging at the cloaked figure as the cloaked
figure charged at him.
Piccolo then brought back his right hand into a fist and launched a punch at
the cloaked figure. However, she merely dodged it as Piccolo tried to aim a kick at their
legs. The cloaked figure merely did a flip over the tall fighter as her cloak landed on the
ground. “Damn it, she's fast whoever she is,” growled Piccolo, as he then turned to see
whom he was fighting against. His eyes then widened and mouth dropped with shock
before letting out a shaken gasp as he saw his attacker with her disguise of yet she was
familiar to him. “No…it's you…” he stammered in a frightened tone, “It can't
be…there's no way! Son defeated you a long time ago.”
“But that was a long time ago,” replied the female figure, “Now' I'm back,
stronger and better than before. And this time Goku isn't here to stop me!” In the blink of
an eye the female figure charged at the surprised Namekian, punching him straight in his
stomach. The force of the blow stunned the Piccolo as he collapsed onto his knees, eyes a
blank white. “One down, six more to go and soon mighty god Pyron will once again walk
this plane,” she boasted as Piccolo froze from pain.
“I…couldn't…stop…you…” he began, stuttering his sentence; “but…I
know…who can…defeat…you!” “What are you babbling about now?” questioned the
female figure as Piccolo smirked at them. “Goku…maybe…gone…” he whispered;
“But…his…son…Gohan…will…stop& #8230;you! He…will…stop…you…and
your…evil…ambitions…he…will…defeat& #8230;you…and…Pyr-ugghh!” With that last
sentence, Piccolo closed his eyes as he went into an unconscious state of mind. “It was
about time he shut up, the pathetic fool,” grumbled the female figure as she merely
picked up the unconscious Piccolo and flung him onto their shoulders; “I better get him
to the castle now.” A small smirk formed on her face as she then let out a chuckle. “I
think I'll send my fighters out to find the next key and locate this Gohan character that
Piccolo was talking about,” she said to herself before disappearing into the air along with
her new captive.

Chapter 1: A Darkness Revealed p.1

The next morning, the sun rose over the Mount Pazou 439 District as its rays
peaked through the Son household. In his room sleeping ever so peacefully was the 16-
year old half-Saiyajin Son Gohan. He was sprawled onto of his bed; the covers messed up
under him and the pillow on the floor. A small thing of drool trickled out from the corner
of his mouth as Gohan slept in his muscle shirt and boxers, with parts of his black hair
meshed up against his face. Unknowing to him, his peaceful sleep was about to be
broken. Slowly opening the door and tiptoeing into his room was his 5-year old brother as
the young boy was wearing an orange and indigo training clothes, indigo boots, and an
indigo waistband tied around his waist. A big smile was on the young boy's face as he
looked at his sleeping older brother before taking a deep breath.
 
“WAKE UP GOHAN, WE'RE GOING TO SPAR TODAY!” exclaimed the
young boy, scaring his older brother that he fell off his bed and landed face first on the
floor. Gohan then cocked his head up to face the young boy as he had a red mark on his
face from landing on the floor. “Goten, do you have any idea what time it is?” questioned
the teenager as his younger brother scratched the back of his head. “It's time to go spar?”
he asked as a sweat-drop appeared on Gohan's head. “He's starting to act more like dad
everyday,” he thought to himself mentally while picking his body up off the floor.
Gohan then got back on his bed and tried to go to sleep, only to feel his
younger brother hop onto his stomach, causing the teenager to wheeze from the lose of
breath. “Come on sleepy-head, wake up,” called Goten as Gohan just looked at his
brother. “Goten, I just want to sleep right now ok?” he replied as then tears began to form
into the young boy's eyes. “But Gohan, you promised last week that you would take me
out to spar with you,” sniffed Goten, struggling to hold back his tears.
 
 
 
Gohan couldn't stand the sight of his brother cry as the older teenager let out
a sigh of defeat before doing a warm smile. “Ok, I'll go sparring with you,” he replied,
taking his left thumb and wiping his young brother's tears; “Just let me get dressed and
I'll take you out sparring like I promised.” Just then Gohan felt himself get hugged as
Goten broke off, hopping off the bed before landing on the floor. “You're the best Onii-
chan!” beamed Goten, before running out the room, as Gohan then placed his feet onto
the ground and got off his bed. He then made his way to his dresser as Gohan then
opened a drawer and got out his training clothes and shoes. He then saw another set of
clothes next to his training clothes, an orange outfit with an indigo interior with indigo
boots next to it. A small sigh escaped from the 16-year old's lips as he then closed the
drawer. He then began to put his pants on, sticking one leg after the other, before pulling
it up to his waist. Just then Gohan heard somebody clear their throat as he then saw his
mother, Chi-Chi, standing in the doorway to his room.
 
“And what, I may ask, are you doing right now Gohan?” she asked as Gohan
froze with shock, a frantic look on his face. “But mom, I'd promised Goten I spar with
him a few days ago and-” he began as a defense, expecting his mother's scolding about
him sparring. Instead he heard her snickering at his panic as a smile was on her face. “It's
ok Gohan, I'm allowing you to spar with your brother this time,” she informed as Gohan
blinked his eyes in surprise; “I raised you to be a mature young man, I know you'll make
good, meaningful coherent decisions.” Gohan then let out a small sigh as he looked at his
mother with a calm smile on his face. “Thanks mom,” he replied, putting on his purple
training outfit's shirt.
“You know it's really nice of you being Goten's role model, somebody he can always
look up to and count on for support,” said Chi-Chi in a warm tone; “I know that your
father is watching us from Heaven and he's very proud of you for being there for your
younger brother.” “Thanks mom,” thanked Gohan, tying a red waistband around his
waist; “I wish dad was still alive though, I miss him so much.” “And I bet he misses you
too Gohan,” replied Chi-Chi; “I feel the same way, I want Goten to know how kind,
gentle, and loving Goku really is, as a father.”
 
 
 
Gohan then got on his training shoes, slipping his feet into them as then both
he and Chi-Chi heard Goten's voice. “Come on Gohan, what's taking you so long?” he
called. “I'll be there in a minute Goten,” replied Gohan as he then had an exasperated
look on his face; “He didn't even give me a chance to make my bed or eat breakfast!”
Chi-Chi had a playful smirk on her face before speaking up again. “You don't want to
keep him waiting too long Gohan,” she reminded her son; “And don't worry, I'll be
cooking some lunch when you two get back.” Gohan then zoomed out his room to where
his brother was, leaving his mother alone in his room.
 
 
“Don't worry mom, I'll make sure that we won't stay out too long!” called
Gohan as he saw his young brother standing there, waiting for him; “Ready Goten?”
“Yup,” replied Goten as then Gohan took a deep breath. “NIMBUS!” he called as then
high in the sky, they both saw a golden cloud zoom down to where they were. “Wow,
that's a cool trick,” commented Goten as the two then climbed onto the Nimbus cloud,
with Gohan helping Goten up. “Now hold on tight,” ordered Gohan as Goten wrapped his
arms around his older brother's waist; “Let's go Nimbus.” The cloud then took off into
the sky with the two boys on it as Chi-Chi saw them from Gohan's room window. “Ah,
boys will be boys,” she said to herself, making Gohan's bed for him; “I'm glad that Goku
and I were blessed by two wonderful, healthy sons.” As she was making the bed, she
passed by Gohan's bureau, as on it was a family picture of Goku, her father, the Ox King,
and herself holding a young Gohan in her arms.
 
A couple miles from the house, flying in the air was the Nimbus cloud as
Gohan and Goten rode on it. “Wow, the Nimbus cloud is awesome,” awed Goten as
Gohan nodded his head. “Yup, this here Nimbus cloud used to give dad rides when he
was a young boy,” he informed as the young half-Saiyajin was in awe. “Really?” he
asked as his older brother nodded his head. “Really,” he replied. They then passed over a
large forest as Gohan looked over at his young brother. “So where do you want to spare?”
he asked as Goten then checked out the surroundings. Just then he saw a small clearing
with a babbling brook passing through it as a big smile appeared on his face. “How about
over there Onii-chan,” he said, pointing his finger at the spot as Gohan smiled. “Ok
Nimbus, let's land over there,” he ordered as the golden cloud sped over to the spot.
 
When the Nimbus cloud got there, both boys hopped off as Gohan looked at
it. “Thanks for the ride Nimbus,” he thanked as Goten nodded his head. “Thank you so
much Nimbus-san,” he thanked, bowing his head as then cloud blushed a bit, causing
Goten and Gohan to laugh. Afterwards, Gohan looked at Goten as he cracked his neck
and knuckles. “Hey Goten, how about we stretch out first before we spar?” he suggested
as Goten nodded his head in agreement. The two half-Saiyajins then began to stretch out
varies joints and muscles on their body, trying to get loose before their sparring match.
 
Their stretching routine went on for a good 10 minutes as Gohan finished up
stretching out his legs on the ground while Goten finished up stretching out his back.
Gohan then stood up off the ground as he looked down at his younger brother. “Ok, you
ready Goten?” he asked as his young brother nodded his head. “I'm ready Gohan,” he
replied as the teenage half-Saiyajin nodded his head. “How about we start off at a slow
pace so we can get into a rhythm before going all out?” he suggested as the younger half-
Saiyajin smiled. “That sounds like a good plan,” he replied while getting into a fighting
stance. Gohan also got into a fighting stance as the two then charged at each other, this
beginning their sparring match.
 
However two figures were flying overhead the Mount Pazou mountain range
in search of something. One of the figures was a young succubus woman with pink hair,
red eyes, wearing a tight red and purple outfit over her body, leaving her shoulders bare
with two small, dark red bat wings above her ears, and two larger dark red bat wings on
her back. The other was an older vampire male with fairly white skin, dark indigo hair,
black eyes, wearing black formal attire with black and red cape, with batwings sticking
out his back, holding in his hands a small stone-compass item in his right hand. “So
where is this supposed key that my sister told us about?” asked the young woman as the
older man shrugged his shoulders. “She said that it was somewhere in this region, maybe
just ahead of these mountains,” he replied as the young woman sighed. “How can we tell
if it's the real Key of Pyron or not?” she asked as the older man looked at her.
“Don't you pay attention to your sister Lilith?” he questioned; “She said that
the Keys of Pyron are reincarnated into different figures. And in order to locate these
reincarnations, we have to use the Key Locator talisman to find the keys and if necessary,
eliminate those who stand in our way.” “Well excuse me Demitri for just asking,” huffed
Lilith as she then sensed a high energy level; “Hey Demitri, do you feel that?” “Yeah,”
replied Demitri as he looked at the Key locator talisman; “there's two energy levels
coming from about 10 miles ahead of us. One of them isn't quite so high, but the other
one feels like it's off the scale!” “I think we've found our keys,” chuckled Lilith as the
two then sped up towards the spot.
 
Meanwhile back at the spot, Gohan was either dodging or blocking an assault
of punches and kicks launched by Goten. The older half-Saiyajin then retaliated with his
own assault of punches and kicks, as it was Goten's turn to go onto the defensive. Just
then Goten missed a block as he felt Gohan's left hand smash into his face, sending the
young boy crashing into a tree. Immediately Gohan stopped what he was doing and
rushed over to his younger bother's aide, a look of concern on his face. “Goten, are you
ok?” he asked; “I'm sorry if I overdid that, I didn't mean to hurt you.”
But instead of a response, Gohan felt an energy blast hit him in the chest,
sending him stumbling backwards a bit. Gohan then saw Goten hold up a glowing right
hand as a smirk was on the young half-Saiyajin's face. “Got you back Gohan,” he said
as Gohan's training shirt was singed a bit. A look of surprise and resentment was on his
face as he gave his younger brother a stern look. “Hey, you didn't tell me you could
generate energy like that,” snapped Gohan; “I could have been seriously injured or even
worse.” “Sorry Gohan,” apologized Goten; “I didn't mean to surprise you like that.”
 
Just then Goten felt himself get pick up into the air as he looked down at his older
brother. “Now it's my turn for my special attack,” laughed Gohan; “Tickle Attack!”
He then began to tickle Goten, causing his young brother to laugh uncontrollably. “I
give, I give, Gohan, I give up!” laughed Goten as Gohan stopped tickling him. “I hope
you learned your lesson not to surprise me like that,” he joked, placing his brother on
the ground.
Gohan then plopped down and leaned against the tree he accidentally
punched Goten into as his younger brother sat next to him. “Hey Gohan, can I ask you
something?” asked Goten. “Sure, go for it Goten,” replied Gohan as his young brother
turn his face to look up at him. “Will you always be there for me?” asked Goten as Gohan
just smiled at him. “Of course Goten, I'll always be there for you,” he answered in a
warm tone. “But what if a bad guy comes and kidnaps me?” asked Goten. “Then I would
go and try to save you,” answered Gohan. “But what if something bad happens to me and
you're not there to help?” asked Goten, only to see his brother's black charcoal eyes gaze
into his own. “Goten, I will always be there for you,” began Gohan; “no matter what may
happens, who or what might come along in the future. I will always be there to protect
my younger brother, no matter what.” Gohan then stroke his young brother's face as he
placed a hand on his left shoulder. “And if something bad did happen, just remember to
never give in and never lose hope,” he stated as Goten nestled his head into his older
brother's side. “Thanks Gohan, you're the best big brother ever,” complimented the
young half-Saiyajin. “Thanks Goten,” replied Gohan, gently stroking his younger
brother's face, “And you're the best little brother ever too.”
 
However the moment was abruptly interrupted by the sound of somebody
chuckling as Gohan then felt two dark energy levels nearby. “My, my what a touching
sight,” called a voice as then Gohan then looked up into the sky and saw Lilith and
Demitri hovering in the air above where he and Goten were. “I hope we're not
interrupting anything special,” chuckled Demitri as Gohan stood up and glared harshly at
the intruders. “Goten, take the Nimbus cloud and get out of here,” he whispered to his
younger brother. However he felt his leg get hugged tightly as Gohan saw his brother was
terrified at what was going on. “Gohan, I'm scared,” whimpered the young half-Saiyajin
as Demitri pointed the Key locater talisman at Gohan first as it was getting no reaction.
 
“Hm, so he's not of the Keys of Pyron,” thought the male vampire he pointed the talisman
at Goten, causing it to glow a bright red.
A smirk appeared on his face as he then turned to Lilith to say something to
her. “Heh, we found one of the Keys of Pyron,” he informed as Lilith looked down at
Goten. “So what key is he?” she asked as Demitri look at the Key locator talisman.
“Since the talisman is emitting a glowing red, that means the boy is actually the
Innocence of a Child key,” he replied to her. Just then both Lilith and Demitri felt an
increase of energy as Lilith then saw Gohan powering up an energy aura around his body
while Goten was hiding behind him. “What do you want with us?” demanded the teenage
half-Saiyajin as Demitri spoke up. “We want the young boy who is with you,” he called
out as both Gohan and Goten had surprised looks on their faces. “So do you want to come
with us peacefully or are you going to be an annoying nuisance and try to fight back?”
called out Lilith as Gohan clenched his hands into fists before glaring back up at the duo.
 
“I don't know who you are or where you came from,” he shouted out
defiantly; “but my brother is not going with the likes of you!” Lilith then did a small
 
giggle while Demitri did a small chuckle from hearing Gohan's defiant tone. “I think he's
asking for a death wish,” chuckled the male vampire before spreading his bat wings out,
making an open gesture of an attack. “I guess we have to fulfill his wish then,” agreed the
female succubus before spreading out her bat wings as well; “and to think, such a cute
guy would be so stubborn like this.” Gohan then got into a fighting stance as he was still
looking up at the two intruders, sensing that they were about to attack. “Goten, go find a
place to take shelter right away,” ordered Gohan as his younger brother let go of his leg.
“Ok Gohan,” replied Goten as he broke off from his brother and ran over to a tree away
from Gohan as Goten hid behind it, peeking around to see what would happen next.
 
In an instant both Lilith and Demitri swooped down at where Gohan was at,
intending on taking them him out as Gohan then powered up his energy before flying at
the two fighters, bringing back his fists ready for a fight. Goten watched on from behind
the tree as he saw all three fighters flying closer and closer to each other. “I believe in you
big brother, I know you can win,” thought the young half-Saiyajin boy; “I just hope
nothing bad happens to you during the fight.” The two sides closed in at each other as
Lilith sped ahead of Demitri. “Get ready cutie cause here I come!” she called out aiming
a fist at the teenage half-Saiyajin's head.
 
However Gohan used his quick reflexes and dodged her attack before
charging at Demitri. Gohan dodged a fist by the male vampire before slamming his left
knee into vampire's gut, stunning him in mid air. Gohan then saw Lilith out of the corner
of his left eye coming around for another attack on him. The teenage half-Saiyajin
dodged the female succubus's attack again before grabbing her by the feet and flinging
her body high into the air. Just then Demitri recovered himself from the first blow as he
launched a punch at Gohan's body, as the teenage half-Saiyajin dodged and countered
with a quick jab in the chin.
Out of the corner of his left eye, Gohan saw Lilith attempting to deliver a
diving missile kick to his head as he used his Saiyajin speed to dodge it. Lilith then went
through his after image as she felt a double-fist slam into her back afterwards. Gohan felt
an increase of energy behind him as he then saw Demitri powering up an energy blast in
his right hand. “Take this!” he grunted, firing the blast at Gohan. Wasting little time, the
teenage half-Saiyajin used his right hand to deflect the blast away from where they were
and high into the sky.
 
However the blast was only a distraction as the teenage half-Saiyajin felt
something slash up his back, causing him to stumble forwards a bit. He then turned to see
Lilith behind him, but her bat wings had transformed into a blade on her right arm. Gohan
then felt another slash up his back that sent him flying forward towards Lilith as he
turned to see Demitri with his bat wings transformed into a blade on his right arm as well.
“Come on Gohan, you can do it!” cheered Goten as he watched the fight from behind the
Nimbus cloud, “I believe in you, don't give up!” “Darn it, this doesn't look good. I need
to do something fast before I get killed,” grunted Gohan as he then saw both Lilith and
Demitri charged at him at the same time. Gohan was able to dodge a punch by Demitri,
but felt a haymaker punch into his back by Lilith.
 
He then turned to face her and launched a punch of his own, only to feel a
knee into his kidneys by Demitri. Gohan then felt his arm get grabbed as he was spun
around and felt a hard knee by Lilith into his gut. The teenage half-Saiyajin hunched over
his stomach, his eyes widened with shock from the blow as he then coughed out some
blood. Gohan then lifted his head up to see Demitri flying straight at him, bringing back
his right hand into a fist. The teenage half-Saiyajin had no time to block as he felt a jaw
busting punch into his right cheek, sending him flying backwards. Just then both Demitri
and Lilith each fired a large energy blast at Gohan, as the one of blasts zoomed past his
flying body. It then circled back around as both blasts got closer and closer to their target.
 
 
Then in the blink of an eye, both blasts collided with Gohan's body, creating
a giant explosion in the sky. “GOHAN!” cried Goten as everybody then saw a giant ball
of dark smoke where Gohan use to be. “Heh, that was too easy,” chuckled Demitri, “I
barely even got a chance to work up a sweat.” “There was no way he was going to beat us
both,” stated Lilith, “It's a shame he had to die, he looked kind of cute.” “It's not my

ZeroFox: Crap, thanks for reminding me Hiei. The opening theme of the story was an English version of Dragonball Z's `Cha-la Head Cha-La' and the ending theme was from the anime Darkstalker Warriors `Trouble Man'. I do not any of those songs. I just wanted to use them to make it seem like an actual anime show with an opening and ending theme so I'm going to keep doing that in the next following chapters.
