Episode 2: A World Without Warriors

 

Scene 1: King Vegeta's Castle (One Year later)

 

[Servant 1 walks in]

 

Servant 1: My lord.

King Vegeta: [Shouts] What? Have you dealt the problem?

Servant 1: Not quite my lord.

[King Vegeta grabs servant 1 by the neck]

King Vegeta: What do you mean not quite?

Servant 1: [Gasping for air] Freiza destroy all our ships.

[King Vegeta screams than throws servant 1 into the air and blast him]

King Vegeta: [Shouting] Somebody better fix this problem or else I'm going to deal with all of you myself, and get out of my sight.

[Everybody rushes out the room as fast as they could]

King Vegeta: [Thinking to himself] I should have known that I couldn't rely on those useless idiots. Looks like I'm going to have to deal with this problem myself. I can't have this freiza find out what I been planning to do. If he ever finds I'm planning to go to the planet Earth to get the Dragon balls and wish for immortality I would be competing to get that those Dragon Balls and I can't have that

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 2: Outside The Schoolhouse

 

[A group of kids approach Senshu]

Kid 1: [Speaking Sarcastically] So Senshu how your “inventions” coming along?

[Other kids laugh]

Senshu: They're coming along just fine.

Kid 2: [Laughing] I bet they are. Did you blow anything up?

[Other kids laugh]

Senshu: No I haven't.

[Group walks away laughing]

[Kal-El sits down next to Senshu]

Kal-El: Hey, what's up?

Senshu: Nothing much.

Kal-El: Is something bothering you?

Senshu: [Grunts] No.

[Kal-El hesitates than continues]

Kal-El: So how are your inventions coming along?

[Senshu gets angry and yells]

Senshu: [Yelling] What do you care. What are you my critic?

Kal-El: Whoa, calm down Senshu I was just asking.

[Senshu calms down]

Senshu: Sorry, Its just that all my life I have failed at everything that I everything I ever tried to do. If isn't my inventions, than it is my relationship with others.

Kal-El: What do you mean?

Senshu: Did you know that Yarocu broke up with me 3 weeks ago?

Kal-El: No, Why are you telling me this now?

[Senshu hesitates than replies]

Senshu: [Speaks in a low tone] Because (pauses) I was too ashamed to tell you when it happened.

Kal-El: [Surprised] Wow, Senshu I didn't know you felt like this.

[Senshu looks up at the sky]

Senshu: Well, I hope someone; somewhere would make use of what I got to offer.

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 3: Grandmaster Ki's Teahouse

[Jin walks in]

Jin: Hello Yamie

Yamie: Oh hello Jin. Master Ki is in the back you can go right on ahead to see him.

Jin: Thanks Yamie.

[Kara walks in on Master Ki while he is looking at girl magzines]

Jin: Master Ki?

[Master Ki quickly shoves the magazines into his robe]

Master Ki: [Surprised] Oh Jin I wasn't expecting you so soon.

Jin: Yamie said it was alright to come and see you.

Master Ki: Oh she did. Well I'm going to speak with her later. So what brings you here?

Jin: What were you doing?

Master Ki: [Joking] Oh nothing I was just sitting here thinking about the old times

Jin: I come to check on Raven. How is she?

Master Ki: Take a look for yourself.

[Master Ki and Jin look out the window watching Raven spar with the other students]

Master Ki: She has made considerable process in such a short time, since her mother brought her here a year ago.

Jin: What ever happen to her mother?

Master Ki: I don't know. When she drop her off here that was the last time I ever saw her.

Jin: What about her father?

Master Ki: I'm not sure. It wasn't not like Neo to dodge his duties. He was one of my most admiral students.

Jin: I heard he was executed for trying to have King Vegeta overthrown.

Master Ki: He also felt justice was the best medicine to cure power hungry rulers.

[Master Ki lowers his head in fear and worry]

Jin: Master, is something bothering you?

Master Ki: I feel a great disturbance in the universe. I feel as if something bad is going to happen. I just don't know why?

Jin: Are you sure?

Master Ki: I pretty sure. And if I'm right, the universe will be unbalanced. I can't imagine a world without great warriors to undo the damage that has been done so far.

[Master Ki and Jin looks back outside the window and watched the students]

Jin: I sure hope you're wrong Master.

Master Ki: Me to Jin, Me too.

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 4: Running in the Street

 

Genie: Come on Ju Ju we're going to be late.

Ju Ju: [Whining] Oh Genie I don't want to go. I hate waiting on line. It makes my legs all wobbly.

Genie: We're here covering for Alura, since she couldn't make it to register Jor-El into School.

Ju Ju: [Whining] but this suit is too tight for me and these shoes hurt my feet.

Genie: [Yelling] We would get though this faster if you stop complaining.

Ju Ju: [Whining] Ohhhhhhh!

[Genie and Ju Ju stopped running and is in back of the line]

Genie: Now we have to look like we're the real parents of Jor-El.

Ju Ju: Isn't Alura single though?

Genie: She put “Married” on the form. Now lets review what we are going to say in front of the interviewers. If they say what is your best qualities, what are you going to say?

Ju Ju: I don't know.

Genie: You're going to say, “My best qualities are reading, writing, and helping others.”

Ju Ju: [Whining] But Genie I don't know how to do most of that stuff and the only person I ever help was the food stand guy who serves me my food everyday.

Genie: [Whining] You're giving me a headache.

Ju Ju: Well I guess we should leave than.

Genie: [Shouts] No we cannot!

[Ju Ju and the parents are scared]

Parent: [Scared] Hey mister, you should do what the lady tells you ooh!

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 5: Kal-El's House

 

[Kal-El and Jor-El walk into the house after picking up Jor-El from Sagacious Zu]

 

Jor-El: [Excited] Hey Kal-El can we go in the backyard and play?

Kal-El: Sure just let me change first.

Jor-El: Ok!

[20 Minutes later]

[Kal-El and Jor-El are sitting down and looking at the sunset in the backward]

Jor-El: [Amazed] Wow, its beautiful!

Kal-El: [Amazed] It sure is!

Jor-El: You think I would be a great warrior one day?

Kal-El: I don't doubt.

Jor-El: How come you not training?

Kal-El [Speaking slowly and calming] Well Jor-El I never really had the time to train because I had been watching you, your brother and sister. I never had time to enjoy the stuff that I like to do, because mom is always working.

[Jor-El lowers his head]

Kal-El: Hey don't feel bad. It's alright I gotten use to it by now.

Jor-El: Will you always be around?

Kal-El Of course I love you, mom, Zor-El and Pharr-El. I'll never leave.

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 6: Sagacious Zu's Temple Courtyard (Later that day)

 

[Jor-El practicing his fighting combos]

[Master Zu walks up to him]

Master Zu: Remember my young apprentice you don't only fight with you hands and feet, but you also fight with your mind. Come I want to show you something.

[Jor-El followers Master Zu into the temple]

Master Zu: My young apprentice do you know what this is?

Jor-El: Sure I do Master, It's your legendary Dragon sword.

Master Zu: Right, and do you know why its legendary?

Jor-El: Its legendary because you defeated your most powerful enemies with it.

[Master Zu laughs gently]

Master Zu: You have quite an interesting mind, my young apprentice.

Jor-El: What do you mean master?

Master Zu: Come sit down I want to tell you a story my master told me.

[Master Zu re-counts the past]

Master Zu: My master told me that the sword I hold before you was a sword that was caved from a tooth of a powerful dragon his master defeated a long time ago.

Jor-El: Really?

Master Zu: Yes, with this sword came hope, and consequences. You see my young apprentice because this sword was created from a tooth of a powerful dragon the sword itself had powers. When a wielder of this sword can tap into it's powers, a great many things can be unlock, but because of it's powers came greedy villains who sought the sword for their own evil purposes. My master's master hid the sword for several decades until now.

[Flashback ends]

Jor-El: So why didn't your master destroy it?

Master Zu: As long as there was still hope left there was no need to destroy it. My young apprentice my master past this sword to me and now I'm pasting it down to you.

Jor-El: [Shock] But master I can't take this sword, it's your legacy.

[Master Zu drops the sword into Jor-El's hand]

Master Zu: Remember this my young apprentice if it is anything that I thought I want you to take these words to heart. Its not the sword that makes the man, but it is the man that makes the sword.

Jor-El: Ok master I will remember these words for life.

Master Zu: Keep this in mind as well; keep the people you love close to your heart. Let your heart guide you. Your heart speaks to you so listen closely.

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 7: King Vegeta's Castle (later that day)

 

[Two Doctors run into King Vegeta's room]

 

Doctor 1 and 2: [Yelling] King Vegeta, King Vegeta!

King Vegeta: [Shouting] What is it this time? I have more important things to do.

Doctor 1: We have some important news?

King Vegeta: What?

Doctor 2: Its Paragus' Son.

King Vegeta: What about him?

Doctor 1: Paragus son's power level is off the charts.

King Vegeta: What do mean?

Doctor 2: His son's power level is 10,000.

King Vegeta: No more discussion. I want his son executed immediately.

[Paragus runs into room]

King Vegeta: Ah! Paragus! I didn't call for you.

Paragus: Sire, have mercy on him. He could be a great help to Prince Vegeta and our planet. Please, he's just a child. The data could be wrong; he could grow to be a great warrior.

[The guards detain Paragus]

King Vegeta: That's exactly what I'm worried about.

Paragus: [Shouts] No!

King Vegeta: And I don't like arguments. You'll die with him!

[King Vegeta blasted Paragus]

King Vegeta: Get rid of them both for good.

All Guards: Yes sire!

[Guards leave and Kiro enters]

King Vegeta: Is our troops ready?

Kiro: Yes sire!

King Vegeta: Good, by this time tonight we will get rid of freiza and his minions. Is Bardock's son ready to be launch?

Kiro: Yes sire, we are awaiting your orders.

King Vegeta: Send his son off now!

Kiro: yes my lord.

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 8: Doctor Kenrensky's Lab (Later that night)

 

[Kal-El and Jor-El walk into the lab]

Kenrensky: [Talking to himself] All most got it. There its all done now. Lets test it out.

[Doctor Kenrensky turns on the contaction]

Kenrensky: Come on baby, come on.

[The contraction short circuits]

Kenrensky: [Angry] Damn!

Kal-El: Are you ok Doc?

Kenrensky: Who said that? So yourself. Oh its just you two.

Jor-El: What are you doing?

Kenrensky: I'm been working for months on this space pod, but there

Kal-El: What is the problem?

Kenrensky: I can't hold the controls for long without it going hang-wired, but apart from all that it works just fine.

Kal-El: When will you get it working again?

Kenrensky: Soon I hope!

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 9: Grandmaster Ki's Teahouse (Later that night)

 

[A loud explosion occurs]

[Master Ki is awaken and quickly runs to his window]

[Yamie runs into the room]

Yamie: [Scared] Master Ki what was that?

Master Ki: [Scared] I don't know!

[They both look out the window and watched the city go up in flames]

Yamie: [Shock, and Scared] Oh my God!

Master Ki: [Thinking to himself] Its just as I feared. The world we come to know is over!

Yamie: [Scared] Master Ki what should we do?

Master Ki: Come, Yamie we don't have time!

[Master Ki and Yamie run towards Raven's room]

Yamie: [Gasping for air] Where are we going?

Master Ki: [Gasping for air] We have to get Raven and put her in the Space pod.

[They enter the room]

[Raven is still sleeping]

Yamie: Since when did you have a space pod?

[Master Ki picks up Raven while she is still sleeping]

Master Ki: [Whispers] I had it for a while now!

[Yamie and Master Ki runs out to the field in the back]

Master Ki: [Thinking to himself] Raven is our last hope!

[Master Ki hands Raven to Yamie and opens up the large shed]

Yamie: How will we escape?

Master Ki: We can't escape Yamie. This is our fate!

[Yamie puts Raven into the single-seated Space pod and closes the hatch]

Master Ki: Get out the shed Yamie!

[Yamie exits the shed and Master Ki hits the launch sequence and exits as well]

[The rocket takes off and breaks the shed's ceiling]

[Master Ki and Yamie watch the Space pod fly off]

Yamie: [Scared] I'm scared!

[Master Ki hugs Yamie tightly]

Master Ki: [Thinking to himself] It's Ok Yamie, we're all be alright! Raven is the universe's last hope.

[Scene ends]

Scene 10: Doctor Kenrensky's Lab

 

Kal-El: What was that?

[Kal-El, Jor-El and Kenrensky look out the window at the burning city]

Kenrensky: What's going on?

Kal-El: I think we must be under attack!

[Foot soliders storm into Kenrensky's office building]

Jor-El: Who are they?

Kal-El: I don't know but I have a very bad feeling about this

[Banging on the door]

Voice: Open Up!

Kenrensky: We have to get out of here!

Jor-El: How can we? We're trap!

Kenrensky: Not exactly!

[Kenrensky hits a switch and it opened up the ceiling]

Kenrensky: We can escape in my Space pod.

Kal-El: But that thing barely even works!

Kenrensky: We don't have a choice!

[Kenrensky activates the pod]

Kenrensky: Get in!

[The troops bang down the door and storm the lab]

[Kal-El and Jor-El run towards the space pod]

Jor-El: But what about mom and the rest of the family?

Kal-El: We have to come back for them later.

[Jor-El stops and turns around]

Kal-El: What are you doing?

Jor-El: I can take these guys on myself!

Kenrensky: [Shouts] This is no time for heroics kid! We have to get out of here!

[Kal-El grabs Jor-El and pulls him into the space pod and closes the hatch]

Kenrensky: [Thinking to himself] Lets just hope this works.

[Kenrensky hits the switch and the rocket propels out of the lab and into the sky]

[5 Minutes later]

[Kenrensky's escape pod is in space]

[Suddenly a huge fireball covers the entire planet and causes it to explode]

[Kenrensky, Kal-El and Jor-El look on in shock and in horror at the planet that they come to know, explode right before their very eyes]

[Jor-El falls to his knees and begins to weep]

Kenrensky: There is a near by planet we can go to and get help. Its going to take a month to reach though.

Kal-El: Jor-El are you alright?

[Jor-El cries]

[Kal-El clutches Jor-El into his arms]

Kal-El: [Anger] take us there!

Kenrensky: Hang on!

[Kenrensky sets a course for the densely populated planet Helios]

[scene ends]
