"Jess, you have to go! There is no other choice!" A boy with dark spiky hair and ebony eyes shouted, pulling a girl slightly younger than him by her hand along as they ran down dark halls. Next to him a light spiky haired boy ran nervously looking back behind him with his chocolate brown eyes. The building in which they were in shook and the young girl Jessica let out a scream.

"I wont go! I'd rather die than leave!" She yelled, her brown orbs intense with an unseen emotion.

"You were left for me to protect and I wont let you die!" He yelled as they began to run faster, tails whipping madly behind their bodies. The building shook again, this time harder than before. Reaching the end of the hallway they busted through the nearest door and found themselves on what seemed to be a docking port. There a pod lay abandoned in the ruckus. The oldest boy grabbed Jessica and slung her over his shoulder. "Toki, get it started, we have to get her out of here!" He commanded to the younger boy next to him. Toki paused briefly and shot Jessica an apologetic look before he dashed over to the pod and began punching in furiously the farthest coordinates from their current location. The oldest pushed Jessica into it when he was done and closed the pod. He nodded to Toki who then pushed a button on the side starting the launch sequence.

"TOKI! NO!" She screamed banging against the window of the small pod, desperately hoping it would open. The pod whizzed and the lights inside flickered, signaling it was counting down to lift off.

"I'll miss you Jessica," Toki whispered as the pod lifted off from the ground in a hover and then accelerated up into the sky until it was no more than a mere dot, before it disappeared.

With a strangled cry Jessica woke up, tangled in her sheets and covered in a thin layer of sweat. This had been the third time she had had this nightmare in a week. She groaned as she rolled over to figure out what time it was.

"Great, 5:30," She mumbled, untangling herself from her sheets so she could get up. She stretched; shaking off whatever sleep had been left in her and padded into the bathroom. Staring back at her from the mirror was a half rumpled image of herself. She shook her head, attempting to look livelier, but it was a failed attempt. Her mind was preoccupied with her reoccurring nightmare. It had been five years since that fateful day when Toki and his older brother Kenji had sent her off into space away from their home planet. It had been attacked by a group of Kooler's minions. They had been sent for one specific reason, to kill off the last royal saiyajin. It had seemed to be they were afraid of her having the potential to turn into the legendary super saiyajin. She couldn't help but let out a chuckle at how right they had been, only she had discovered she could transform several years later after living on Earth. An angry looking man who looked far too much like her own mother had discovered her. Turns out he was her Uncle, or as he was preferred to be called "The Prince of all Saiyajins". He wasn't as much of an asshole as he played himself to be however, but that was a whole other story.

"It's been five years, why can't I let it go?" She questioned no one in particular as she turned on the hot water of the shower. Her dusty brown tail swayed behind her lazily before wrapping around her waist. Realizing sleep had left her; she had decided that she might as well get ready for work. Jessica knew however that she couldn't let it go, she couldn't ever forget Toki and Kenji; after all she had lived with them since her parents had died. Her mind wandered while she showered; she couldn't help but think of thoughts of the past. She had been sent away from Toki when she was only sixteen, and had traveled in the pod in an artificial sleep for a year. When Vegeta had found her, he had been extremely unconvinced in the fact that she was related to him. It took her one long explanation and the view of her royal birthmark to convince him. His friend, a smiling man named Son Gokou, believed and accepted her right away, not bothering to question the youth. It had been the same way with the rest of the group of friends and family that she had encountered.

Stepping out of the shower, she dried herself off with a fluffy towel and grumbled lightly. Figuring it was no use to keep wracking her brain, she pushed the existing pieces of her nightmare back into the back of her mind to pick apart later; right now she had to get ready to go to work at Capsule Corporation or she was going to hear an ear full from her Aunt Bulma and her cousin Trunks, who was the president.

"Being the vice-president is not easy," She mumbled as she pulled out her usual business attire, which was a black skirt and white blouse along with a black blazer with the C.C. logo on it. She glanced at the clock while she buttoned up her blouse and adjusted her blazer upon her shoulders.

"Hmm, 6:15 already. Well, I think I have just enough time to make it to work with getting breakfast on the way," She grabbed her keys off of the table near her door and clicked off the lights. "Be good Wuffers!" She called to her black and white cat, which mewled lazily in response and fell back asleep on the couch.
