Duo sighed as he watched his fellow pilots enjoy the grandball that was being thrown in
their honer.By tommarow night they would each be going their own ways again.Only he knew this
would be the last time he would see any of them.He was going home,not colony L2,but his real
home.The place where he had a little brother waiting for his return.

/Hmmmm.....Now all I have to do is say goodbye to eveyone.When the time come will I really be
able to say goodbye to you my love or any of my friends?If only.../Duo let his thoughts
trail of as he noticed Quatre walking up to him.

"How are you doing Duo?"Quatre asked when he was finely standing beside Duo.

"As well as one can be,I suppose."Came a sullen reply

"Duo,we're friends,right?"

"Sure we are,Q-tip."

Quatre smiled when Duo used one of the many nicknames that he had thought up for him.

"Then you trust me."

It was more of a statment than a question,but Duo felt comepeld to awnser it anyway.

"With my life."

"What about with your past,Duo?"

Duo blinked,confused by what Quatre was asking.

"You already know every thing about me.You know my past."Duo knew this was a lie,that Quatre
only knew a false record of his past,but there was nothing he could do about it.

"No,Duo not
"Somethings are best left unsaid.Even between friends,Quatre."

"So what your saying is truly don't trust me.That you only have faith in my fighting
skills?"Quatre asked somewhat hurt by that thought.

"NO!No thats not what I meant.I do TRUST you Quatre,but it's just that well there's a lot
you don't know about me Q-tip.And I don't want to get you hurt by involving you into
something that you wouldn't understand."Duo quickly tryed to make him understand.

"Try me."

"You really don't know what your asking of me.Hey,why are you asking me this anyway?"Duo
inquired.

"I know something been bothering you."Quatre replide.

"Your right.Quatre we've been friends for about
five years now.And yet there is still so much we don't know about each other.And I would
love to tell you all my juicy little secrets,but I'm not permited to."

"Hmmmmm...I guess your right.You know I'll be leaving tommarow,and I bought we'll see each
other again."

"Ya...Where you heading of to Q-ball?"

"Like you said Duo,some things are best left unsaid.I'm afraid I'm not aloud to tell."

"Ohh...Well I guess I should go and say my goodbye's now.So this is it."Duo said as
he started to shake Quatre's hand.Only to have Quatre pull him into a hug.

"Goodbye my friend and may our paths cross again some day."Quatre whisperd in his ear as
he let go of Duo.

"Bye Q.You know I'm going to miss having our little talks.Your like a brother to me."

"I know,so will I."The giant grandfather clock in the hall way chimed midnight.
After another quick hug Quatre left to finish his own goodbye's.

{Next Day}

/Quatre,Trowa,and Wufie have already left.Hmmm..I wonder if Heero's left yet?/ Duo thought
to himself as he was searching for Heero. /It's only another hour before I leave./
He finilly found Heero hiding in one of the many study's in Relena's mansion,that they
had been staying at to attend the celabration.

"Heero?"Duo said as he walked into the room.

"Hnnn...Yes Duo?How may I help you?"Was Heero's reply.

"Well you know I'll be leaving soon and I just wanted to say goodbye before I left."

"Ohh,..goodbye then."

"Ya..Goodbye." Duo sadly as he backed out of the study,

/Well that went sure did go well/Duo thought sarcasticly.

/I might as well make sure I packed every thing and leave early/ Sighing he headed back to
his room.

{Small Clearing in an Unknown Forest}

Glancing around himself one last time,Duo wiped his eyes./I am so going to miss this world./
Looking in front again at the portal that would take him to his home world,he couldn't
help but think about all the wonderful people and places he had meet and been.
