Chapter 4

The Lemurian Ship was floating off to a vortex in the very center of the
world. Suddenly,
the ship was shaken by some turbulences. "Aagh! What happened!?" Felix
shouted.
A guard said, "It must be that we're entering the portal. Should we
continue?"
"Yes," Ivan said. That eight Adepts stood on the ship's deck. The ship soon
forced its way past the vortex's barrier. Suddenly, the adepts started to
levitate
off of the ship, as if being lifted by some force. They soon floated off the
ship's deck
and fell through the portal. They fell at a fast speed, and after a long
time, they
emerged on the surface of brilliant, bright blue water. They were then
amazed by the
alternate world they stumbled upon. A mystic, shining blue sky shone above,
and
the kingdom ahead of them was radiant, like shimmering clear crystal. They
walked
along the path...

...And suddenly were mysteriously praised as if they had been to that place
before.
"Finally, Princess Sheba! You have returned!" exclaimed a commoner. "After
all these
years, you have arrived here at last, Queen Jenna!" shouted a young woman
joyfully.
"You are back, Lord Felix!" said one of the soldiers. "It is very honorable
to see
you once again, Sir Piers!" said another soldier. "We have waited for your
arrival,
Lady Mia!" said a young man. "What is going on here!?" Ivan cried. Suddenly
a man
with short silver hair, icy-blue eyes, and wearing crystallic armor arrived.
"Welcome back," he said. "Please follow me."

The eight Adepts had followed the man into the palace. The walls were a
shimmering
crystallic white. They were led into the throne room. A woman with silver
hair and
wearing a pure white gown sat on the throne. "Who are you?" Jenna asked. The
woman
stood up. "I am Queen Selenia, ruler of this world of Cirenia. And you?...."
Selenia immediately recognized the eight adepts. "Ah, yes. Queen Jenna,
Princess
Sheba, Lady Mia, Sir Garet, Sir Piers, Lord Felix, Sir Isaac, and Prince
Ivan."
The adepts were puzzled. "What do you mean? If I ever was here, I don't
remember
a thing now," Sheba said. Selenia smiled. "So you have no memory of your
past
life...Come now. I shall show you." The eight Adepts were led into a room
with
mirrors that shone like crystal. The warriors were fascinated. "These
mirrors
can see into the past and into the future." Jenna looked into one of the
mirrors
and saw a girl that was wearing a gown that glowed charismatic, pyrey
colours,
and that looked just like Jenna. Jenna was surprised. "Touch the mirror,"
Selenia
said. Jenna touched the mirror, and not just Jenna, but everyone else could
see into the past. The place they saw was a kingdom with torches of blazing
flames
at its entrance, and then the palace had torches which flared a brilliant
crimson
colour. There they saw what was supposedly Jenna in the ancient times--yet
she
was only a princess, and about 7 years old. Then they saw the events of
Jenna's
past life...

It was after the first war. The king and his troops had fought a valiant
war. The
former Queen, Queen Jenalia, had heard a soldier come in the palace.
The soldier told her, "There is good news and bad news. The good news is,
we won the war against the Dark Forces." "The bad news?" Jenalia asked.
Jenalia had firey red hair and wore a crimson gown. "The bad news is...."
The soldier paused for a moment. "The king has died." "No....It..
can't be..." Jenalia said, eyes filling with tears. "His last words
were, which he meant to say to you, were 'Take care of Jenna.'" Jenna was
there as well, and she started to weep. Jenalia came to comfort her.
"Don't worry Jenna. May we always remember him. And mark my
words, I will avenge him in the near future." And the near future did come
soon.
Ten years had passed, yet it was a month before Jenna would turn 17. Another
war broke out. It was the dark kingdom of Nebural against the fire kingdom
of
Vulcania, the water kingdom of Lemuria, the wind kindom of Kiveria, and the
earth kingdom of Suhalaris. The soldiers of Vulcania, along with Queen
Jenalia
and an array of mages and summoners, had headed west, to fight a war
overseas.
Jenna was worried, so she had followed in a vessel along with her guardian,
Sir Garet, and some soldiers. Vulcania's militia fought in ships. Monsters
came aboard the militia's ships, and the soldiers and mages fought with all
their
might. Suddenly, some fiends came aboard Jenna's vessel. Some soldiers,
along
with Garet and Jenna, since Jenna could use magic and summon, fought the
fiends.
After defeating the last monster on deck, Garet said to Jenna, "Well, we're
all here safe and sound." Jenna noticed Garet's arm had a few scratches.
"Garet?
You're hurt..." "What do you mean, Jenna? I'm all right..." Garet walked
toward Jenna.
"Oww! My arm...." "You'd better rest, Garet." "Alright." Garet headed to the
bed rooms below deck. Jenna followed and watched from the window.

The Jenna of the present asked, "What about what happened to Jenalia?"
Selenia said,
"I shall show you..."

The vision showed the ships of the Queen and her militia. Creatures had
appeared on
the decks and overseas. The soldiers and mages fought, while summoners
summoned
spirits to obliterate the enemys overseas. Suddenly a figure appeared atop a
tall cliff.
"Is that....Saturos?" Mia asked, watching. Saturos had summoned Daedalus and
destroyed many of the Queen's ships. The Queen was angry. She then summoned
Haures
and destroyed Saturos's summon. "Ha ha...You're as strong as ever Jenalia...
But not strong enough!" Saturos jumped off the cliff and summoned Eclipse.
Just as
Saturos fell halfway off the cliff, a dragon had appeared and Saturos landed
on its back.
Saturos yelled, "Eclipse! Show that pathetic lady why you are called the
Dragon of Destruction!
Electron Blast!!!" Jenna saw everything, and those few seconds seemed to
last forever as the
Queen's ship was hit by the blast. The explosion's shockwaves had caused
disturbances in
the ocean, causing great waves. Jenna's ship was blown halfway by the
shockwaves.

"Hey, Princess Jenna, are you okay?" asked a soldier afterward. Jenna got up
and replied,
"I'm alright." Garet got up from his bed. He had fully recovered. "I'm all
better."
"Where is my mother's ship?" Jenna asked. The captain of the ship said, "We
have found Her
Majesty's ship lying on a shore not too far from here. Do you wish to go?"
Jenna said,
"Yes..."

The ship sailed to the nearby shores. Only a few mages, summoners, and
soldiers had lied there,
and most of them were dead. Only two soldiers, one summoner, and one mage
were still breathing.
Jenna and Garet talked to the summoner first. "I....have lost.......I...have
failed....
the kingdom.........." the summoner slowly said. "No," Jenna replied. "You
fought bravely.
Your name shall be honored." "Thank....you....Je...nna................" The
summoner drew
her last breath and died. Garet and Jenna then talked to the mage. "That
summon....it was...
too.....powerful...." the mage muttered. "You should save your breath,"
Jenna said worriedly.
"Don't......worry....about....me....go...see...the Queen...." The mage then
sighed and his
eyes closed...forever. Jenna and Garet then went to see the two soldiers.
The first soldier
was dying. "Garet....I'm...sorry...I tried...my best..." he said. "Do not
worry, soldier.
You fought bravely....even to the end." Garet said. "Thank you." The first
soldier passed away.
The second soldier was still standing. "Greetings, Sir Garet. It is truly a
wonder that I
was the sole survivor--" A sudden pain jolted in the left side of his chest.
"Ugh!"
Garet said, "Soldiers! Take this man below decks." Soldiers arrived and took
him to the
beds. Jenna gasped as she saw her mother lying somewhere. She ran to her
mother along with
Garet. "Mother!" Jenna screamed. "Mother! Mother...." "Jenna..." Jenna
gasped. "I...am...
sorry.....I...did...my best..." "Mother, please don't say that. You'll be
alright. I know it."
Tears began to flood Jenna's eyes. "I am sorry...Jenna....and Garet...."
Garet sighed.
Jenalia took something out of her pocket. "Jenna...Garet...have these...."
She placed a ruby
in Jenna's hand, and a garnet in Garet's. "They....are....the royal
jewels...may you....
someday....restore...peace to this world..." She sighed, and her head seemed
to sink a little.
"Queen Jenalia!" Garet exclaimed. "Mother!? Mother, no...You can't be
gone....
Mother!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jenna wailed. She touched her deceased mother's hand. It
was icy cold.
"No....Mother...no, you can't...you just can't...." She said, with a burst
of sobbing. Garet
embraced Jenna and held her face to his shoulder.

The vision ended. Selenia said, "After that, Jenna was crowned the new Queen
of the kingdom of
Vulcania." Jenna said, "How come I don't remember any of that?" Selenia
replied, "You and your
friends were reborn on Weyard with no memory of your past lives. I shall
explain that later."
Mia asked, "Do I have a past too? I dreamt of it while I fell in a coma."
Selenia nodded.
"I shall show you...."

The scenery changed to Lemuria, which differed from the one Isaac, Felix and
their companions
had seen. It was a flourishing kingdom. The streets were filled with people.
There had also
been a great palace. Soon the view changed to inside the palace. It had
shown Mia in the
ancient times. Alex and Piers had appeared as well. "Is that Alex?" Mia
asked. They seemed
to be talking. A soldier told Alex, Piers and Mia, "Lady Miara has been gone
for several days
now," the soldier said. "I must go find Mother," Alex said. "I shall
accompany you," Piers
replied. "Mia, you stay here." "But why?" Mia asked. "The truth can hurt
you. It is best to
spare yourself the agony." Alex solemnly nodded. Alex and Piers had left,
leaving Mia alone.
"I hope Mother's all right...ever since Father died when I was young, things
have not been
the same..."

The next day, a soldier came into Mia's room. "Miss Mia, please wake up..."
the soldier said.
"Nnnnnnnnng....Ah...What happened?" Mia said, sleepily. "I have bad
news....Lady Miara was
found dead last night." Mia's face froze. "No....No...NO!" "I apologize for
the Lady's death..."
Mia did not seem to hear him. "No! No, no, no, no, no! It just can't be!!!"
Mia was in a state
of shock. Piers came and said, "I am sorry, Mia, but this is beyond even a
Lemurian's skill
to heal. Come on, let's go."

Hundreds of people had gathered, along with Piers and all the soldiers and
mages. Mia just
stood there, tears streaming down her cheeks. Alex held Miara's body and
carried her to a
lake. Alex had a rather solemn look on his face. He then placed Miara in the
lake, and placed
a bouquet of blue bellfowers in her hands. Miara sank beneath the waters.
Mia burst into
weeping and clung to Piers. Mia seemed to fall asleep after Piers tried to
console her.

That was when Mia and Alex were 16. When they finally came of age, at 17,
they were to be
married and become the new Lord and Lady of Lemuria. In the chapel, Alex
held Mia's hands
and they said their vows. "Do you, Mia, wish to have Alex as your husband
and you be the
new lady of Lemuria?" said the preacher. "Yes," she said. "And do you, Alex,
wish to have Mia
as your loving wife and become the new Lord of Lemuria?" "Yes," Alex said.
But just as they were
about to put their parted lips together, a loud shattering sound was heard.
All the people
in the chapel were screaming as a man and a woman attempted to hurt them.
The Sheba of the
present asked, "Are those two people...Agatio and Karst?" Selenia said,
"Yes..." The vision
continued as Karst had grabbed Mia. "Mia!" Alex screamed. "Let go of her,
you dirty..."
Karst said, "Hand over the jewels if you expect this little lady to return
safely!"
Alex muttered, "The jewels? They must mean the sapphire, blue topaz, and
tanzanite that soldier
gave Piers, Mia, and I yesteday!" Piers whispered, "You cannot! Those are
the royal jewels!
If they were ever stolen, chaos would befall Lemuria!" Alex said, "I am
sorry, but I just
can't! These are the jewels of the Lemurian heirloom! They are priceless,
and if they were
ever pillaged, all of Lemuria is doomed!" Karst shook her head. "Tsk, tsk.
Then I am afraid
I cannot release our hostage." Alex thought long and hard, and whispered to
Piers, "I have
a plan. Give me your tanzanite." "But then--" Piers stuttered. "It'll work.
Trust me."
Piers handed over his tanzanite to Alex. Alex walked over to Agatio and
handed over his
blue topaz, Piers's tanzanite, and Mia's sapphire. "Thanks," said Agatio.
"You have done the
right thing." Agatio gave them to Karst.
Suddenly Alex struck Karst's arm with his dagger, making her release Mia
from her grip. Mia fell
on her knees, gasping for air. "Mia! Run!" Piers yelled. "A-alright..."Mia
ran, but Agatio
pursued her. "You're not going anywhere!" Meanwhile, the blow to Karst's arm
had made her drop
the royal jewels. Alex went in to snag them, but Karst yelled, "Not so
fast!" However, Karst
had failed, as Alex successfully picked up the jewels. He gave the tanzanite
to Piers, and tossed
the sapphire to Mia. "Here!" "Oh no you're not!" Agatio tried to intercept,
but Mia had caught
it just in time. "No way!" Agatio was flabbergasted. Suddenly Mia started to
glow blue, and she
was holding her sapphire in mid-air. Agatio tried to snatch it, but a force
field flung him back.
"What the heck!?..." The sapphire began to glow, until a great blue light
flashed. The sapphire
turned into a sword, witha blade of ice. "It's...n-not...p-possible..." Mia
rushed at Agatio and
slashed him twice. Agatio laughed. "You think that's gonna save ya? Think
again!" Suddenly Mia
started flashing blue. She jumped and plummeted, driving her sword into the
ground.
A tidal wave seemed to burst from the ground, and then she threw her sword
at Agatio.
It seemed to turn into an ice spike, and slashed Agatio. "Agh.....Don't
think you've won."
Agatio ran off. Karst was enfuriated. "Agatio! Ooh! What nerve, that
coward!" She then
saw that Mia had defeated Agatio. "All right, jewel or no jewel, you're
coming with me!"
Alex solemnly declared, "No. I cannot risk Mia getting hurt. I will go in
her place." "Are you
sure!?" Karst demanded. "....Yes." "Fine then!" Karst grabbed Alex. "Alex!
No!" Mia screamed.
"Are you out of your mind?!" Piers exclaimed. Alex shouted, "I couldn't risk
Mia getting
hurt!" Karst cut in. "I am sorry to butt in your tearful farewell, but if
you expect to
see Alex again, Mia, then you must head for Nebular. I will keep Alex there.
Come....
if you dare!" A dragon appeared. Karst, taking Alex with her, climed aboard
the dragon.
Mia ran out of the chapel. "Alex!"
"Mia! I'm sorry!"
"Alex!!"
The dragon began to fly away. "Mia! Take care..." were the last words Mia
heard before the
dragon flew off into the distance. Mia fell on her knees. "Alex...." she
said tearfully.
The people in the chapel were talking all at once. "Oh no!" "This is
terrible." "If
Alex is gone, then who..." Breaking the chaos of mixed voices, someone said,
"Everyone!
We must not give up hope." He looked at Mia and Piers. "Lady Mia and Sir
Piers are our only
hopes. We have to pray that their journey to Nebular--and their return with
Lord Alex--
will be safe."

The vision ended. Selenia said, "Mia and Piers's journey to Nebular was
successful, and
they managed to rescue Alex, but then that triggered a new war. I shall
explain later.
Sheba, Ivan, I shall now show you your past."

It had shown the wind kingdom of Kiveria, a floating kingdom in the sky. The
entire kingdom,
even the towns, floated. There was also an airship dock. The vision had then
shown inside
the castle. Ivanös, the king, was preparing to enter the battlefield on the
ground, in order
to avenge the death of his wife, Shebaena, and to restore peace to the
kingdom. Princess Sheba,
who was then 12, and Prince Ivan, who was 13, wondered where their father
went. Someone told
them, "He is off fighting a war. Do not worry." But then the next month, a
soldier came with
bad news. "Princess Sheba, Prince Ivan, I am sorry, but the king was lost at
sea and drowned,"
he said. Sheba fell on her knees, looking as if she were going to cry. She
muttered...
"Father...Father...." "Darn it!" Ivan yelled angrily. "Our mother is
gone...and now...
Those idiots! I'll get them if it's the last thing I do!"

Sheba said, "That is all?" "Yes." said Selenia. "Now I shall show Felix's
and Isaac's past."

The vision changed to Suhalaris, a kingdom in the middle of a desert.
Surprisingly, there
were no sandstorms, neither was there any cases of the desert heat damaging
the kingdom.
In the back of the castle, Lord Remson, Felix's father and the Lord of
Suhalaris, stood
by a gravestone that said, "In Loving Memory of Lady Isis, former Lady of
Suhalaris."
Felix, who was then 17, and Isaac, then 16, stood by the grave. "Why?...Why
did Mother
have to die?..." Felix slowly said. Isaac, who was the young general of the
Suhalarian
army, said, "May you rest in peace, Lady Isis." As all the people of
Suhalaris, who attended
the funeral, had left, Lord Remson had taken the sword placed near Lady
Isis' grave out of
the ground. "Why are you doing this?" Isaac asked. Remson replied, "I have
to declare
war against Nebular, in order to avenge Isis and to protect the kingdom."
"Don't all
of the kingdoms here have that duty?" Felix asked. "Yes, and all of the
other kingdoms will ally
Suhalaris."

"Soon, the war started. Lord Remson, Felix, and Sir Isaac, along with the
Suhalarian Army,
had gone to fight Menardi in the Suhalla Desert," Selenia continued. Jenna
asked, "So...
Menardi existed in the ancient times as well?" "Yes." Sheba asked, "And what
about Suhalla
Desert?" Selenia answered, "You remember the town of Suhalla, right? That
was only a
portion of its kingdom. Suhalla Desert also existed." The vision continued.
As the Nebularian
army approached, the Suhalarian soldiers drew their swords and they fought.
Almost all the
Nebularian soldiers were wiped out, until....
Remson decided to attack Menardi in the hopes of making the Dark Forces
retreat. However...
"AGH!!!!!!" Remson yelled. Isaac gasped, "That sounded like Lord Remson!"
Felix saw Remson
falling to the ground. "NOOOO!!!!!!" Felix ran to Menardi and slashed her
arm. "Agh...
Darn....You have not won yet!" The Nebularian soldiers covered Menardi and
retreated.
Suddenly Felix yelled, "Father!!" Isaac gasped, "Lord Remson!"
"A-agh....Felix...Isaac..."
Felix asked, "Father, are you okay?" "I'm...............done...for......"
Felix exclaimed,
"No! Father!" Remson took something from his armor.
"Here....Felix...Isaac..have these...."
Felix took the citrine, while Isaac took the topaz. "These....gems....have
been passed on
through...the generations....You...will...find....a use...for
them.....Defend....Cirenia....
from...the Dark...Fo-r-ces....." Remson drew his final breath. Felix gasped.
"Father?
Father!? Father, no!! This can't be real!"

Selenia then said, "Now I shall show you Mia's and Piers's journey to
Nebular and the
war."

The vision showed a Lemurian Ship sailing to the southernmost corner of the
world,
the dark kingdom of Nebular. Piers said, "It is said that, other than
Darkness
(also known as Luna) Adepts lived here, in which some still do, this is also
where
the Dark Forces originated." Mia replied, "It is also where Alex is being
held captive.
Let's go!" "Wait, Mia!" Mia and Piers looked across to Nebular. "It
looks....heavily
guarded. We can't just barge in! We have to think of a plan."

So as they arrived...

Piers said, "Okay, we're here." Mia said, "We could just sneak past the
guards..."
Piers thought long and hard. "I am afraid it's harder that it sounds, Mia.
We have to
disguise ourselves somehow..." They both saw a male and female guard
guarding a house.
Piers whispered something in Mia's ear, and then they both ran by the house.
A male guard
said, "Hey! Both of you! Stop!" Piers and Mia were suddenly cornered by a
crowd of guards.
Mia thought of an idea, and yelled, "Aaaaaaaah! It's a big dragon!" The two
male and female
soldiers ran someplace along with a few others. Piers immediately dragged
them both in the
house. The door slammed. Then a great fight was heard. A soldier said,
"Turns out there
was no dragon. The intruders fooled us!" Then Piers and Mia, clad in the two
soldiers'
armor, stepped out of the house. The soldier said, "So did you take care of
the intruders?"
Mia, trying to make her voice sound like the female soldier, said, "Yes sir.
We have them
locked in the cellar." "Good! Now don't slack off!" Piers and Mia both said
in a soldier-
like tone, "Yes sir!" The soldier left. Mia, in her normal voice, whispered,
"That actually
worked! Now what?" Piers whispered something im Mia's ear...

Piers came to the castle, and headed for the entrance. A soldier said,
"Halt! What is
your intention of entering?" Piers, acting like a guard, said, "I am
delivering something
to one of our prisoners. You see, I was promoted." "Alright,"said the
soldier, "Go ahead.
And don't slack off!" Piers entered carrying a sack, the same one he carried
while entering. He
hid in a corner, and whispered, "The coast is clear Mia. You can come out
now." Mia opened the
sack on her own, and whispered, "Phew! I was almost suffocating." She then
said, "There is Alex's
cell. And there's the guard. Listen to my strategy..."
Soon Mia and Piers came out of a corridor, and went to Alex's cell. The
guard spotted them.
"Halt! Aren't you supposed to be guarding--" Mia was holding a drink. "I
prepared a drink for
you." The guard said, "Psynergetic Parfait! My favorite." Mia gave it to
him. "Thanks!"
He started drinking from the straw. "Mmm, this is good! What did you use
that makes it taste
fantastic?" Mia said, "Oh....some Quartz brand Sugar. The best in the
world." Suddenly,
the guard collapsed and started snoring. Piers whispered, "Did you really
put that?"
Mia responded, "Yes. I also put a little bit of sleeping powder." "Quick!
Grab the key!"
Mia snatched the key from the guard's pocket, and unlocked the cell. Alex
said, "Aren't you
guys releasing me?" Mia took off her helmet. "Mia!" Piers took off his as
well. "And Piers!
What are you two doing here?" Piers said, "We're here to rescue you." Alex
replied, "Why
did you come this far--and especially with the high security?" Mia said,
"It's a long
story. Hurry and come with us before the guard wakes up!" "Alright..." The
three left.
Soon the soldier woke up. "Yawn...That Psynergetic Parfait was good! YAAH!
General, please don't
demote me! ... Huh? Oh. Alright, you punk, how's it--" The cell, to his
demise, was empty.
"WHAT!?!?!? He escaped!? I'll bet it had something to do with those two
guards!" He used
a special Psynergy called Mind Link, which lets him speak telepathetically
with anyone.
< Sir Agatio! The prisoner has escaped! >
< What!? >
< I'll bet those two guards I saw before I drank something that made me fall
asleep took him! >
< You slacked, eh?! I'll have to demote you!>
< Ahh! No sir, please don't! I'm guessing the two guards are the intruders!
>
< Alright then. I shall alert my troops. >
< Mind Link end >

Mia and Piers took off their armor and escorted Alex to the ship. Alex
asked, "How come you
rescued me, Mia?" Mia said, "You see, Alex, I made a promise within myself
to save you no
matter what, and I succeded!" Suddenly a soldier said, "INTRUDERS!!!!!" The
trio ran.
"Oh no!" Alex said. "They have spotted us!" The three eventually made it to
the Lemurian ship,
and sailed away... A soldier used Mind Link to speak with Saturos.
< Master Saturos, they've escaped! >
< I see.... >
< It is all those blasted Lemurians' fault! Not to mention all the other
kingdoms! >
< Yes.... >
< Shall we do anything about it, then? >
< Yes. I have decided to wage war against all the other kingdoms. >
< Mind Link end >

Selenia then said, "This event has led to the war...."

The vision soon changed to Kiveria. Sheba and Ivan had snuck out of the
castle. "Psst...
so now what do we do?" Sheba whispered. Ivan whispered something...
Soon they were inside one of the cargo boxes. "Well, we made it without
being noticed,"
Ivan said. "So...when the airship lands, we get out of here. Mia, Piers,
Jenna, Garet,
Felix, and Isaac should be down there already..." Suddenly a crashing sound
was heard and the
airship shook. "Gaaaah! What's happening?!" Sheba yelled. Ivan peeked
through a hole in the box
and looked through the window. "It looks like something struck us and we're
falling!"
"We have to get out!" Sheba yelled. They got out of the box and headed on
the top decks.
"But we can't jump! It's too risky!" Sheba yelled. Suddenly, Ivan's Nataraja
Blade,
with an amethyst in it, and Sheba's Unicorn Staff, with an alexandrite in
it,
both started glowing. "Why's it glowing?" Sheba asked. Suddenly a great wind
blew Sheba off
the deck. "Aaaaaaaaaaah! Ivan, help!" "Sheba!" Ivan jumped after Sheba, and
to their surprise,
they seemed to be flying. "I'm....flying?" They soon floated to the light
kingdom of Crystallia.
The other six Adepts, along with Alex and the soldiers of Crystallia,
Kiveria, Vulcania,
Lemuria, and Suhalaris. Suddenly, the ships from Nebular arrived, along with
Saturos, Menardi,
Agatio, and Karst. The soldiers, the four evil Adepts, the army of the other
five kingdoms,
and the nine young Adepts all drew their weapons and fought. After a long
battle, and most
of Nebular's forces were diminished, Menardi said, "Muahahaha....You may
have broken through
our forces, but we shall then hold Princess Serenity hostage and she'll be
sure to tell us
where the secrets of Alchemy lie!!" The Mia of the present asked, "You have
a daughter?"
The Selenia of the present said, "Yes. I have to keep her here, otherwise
doom will befall
Cirenia!" The past vision continued. Suddenly Isaac, Felix, Garet, Jenna,
Ivan, Sheba, Mia,
Alex, and Piers were blocking the entrance. They then started glowing the
same color as
the heirloom gems; Isaac had a citrine glow, Felix had a topaz glow, Garet's
was garnet,
Jenna's was ruby, Ivan's was amethyst, Sheba's was alexandrite, Mia's was
sapphire,
Alex's was blue topaz, and Piers's was tanzanite. Rays of colored light shot
from them,
and seemed to create a force field. Saturos, Menardi, Agatio and Karst were
thrown back
by its power. The rays of light had then turned into a blast, and had
damaged the trio of
Fire Adepts. Saturos said, "You may refuse to show us the secrets of
Alchemy, but we
shall unlock it on our own!" The quad was soon transported to Weyard.
Selenia, seeing
that the nine adepts has used up all their power and were exausted, had sent
them to Weyard
to be reborn, but with no memories of their past whatsoever.

The vision ended. Mia said, "So that explains everything...About my dream,
about
Saturos, Menardi, Agatio and Karst.... So...what about Alex and what will
happen to him now?"
Selenia then showed a new vision, this time, about the future.
Alex was being grabbed by Karst. "Ahhh! AAAAAgh! Mia! Where are you?" Ivan
asked,
"Is that Alex?" Jenna noticed something. "I think that's Karst! I though we
defeated her and
Agatio!" "Alex! NO!!!" Mia screamed. Suddenly a flash of light blinded
everyone except
Mia and Selenia. Mia saw the same scenes she saw in her dream at the Mercury
Sanctum.
Mia falling....floating up...Alex inside a crystal... The vision ended.
Mia said, "If fate is to be averted, I must save Alex..." "Not just that,"
said Selenia.
"A great evil from the past is returning. That was indeed Karst you saw. You
must defeat
her, along with Agatio, Menardi, and Saturos, in order to restore peace to
the world."
Princess Serenity appeared. "That place you saw, Mia, is in the future. I
know it.
