Every night when I look
Up onto the stars
The only thing that burns me
Is red, the color of Mars
That is what caught me
When I first saw you
Eyes of blue, so mystic
Love for you is true
When I part away from thee
Oh truly, my heart is torn
Once we break apart for good
I will say nothing, only mourn
Truly I wish that never comes
That is my heart's greatest fear
Let us nourish the love we have
With our blood, sweat and tears.
