Hola! You may remember me from my W.i.t.c.h. continuation fanfictions. (One of which, sadly must be deleted, due to technical reasons). Well, now we're moving into the Magical Girl Genre. As always, this is the result of an ongoing RPG my friends and I created. New chapters are added as the RPG is updated, so this one's always fresh.


The subject is the Magical Girl genre of anime. My co-authors are:

This one will remain untitled for the moment. As soon as we think of a cool team name, I'll post it on the entrance page. New chapters are added every couple days. To track the progress of the game, check out the link in my profile.


So, with that in mind, here we go! Chapter 1 will introduce us to Samantha, a normal teenage girl. Well, normal until her 13th birthday. A special present from her mom is about to lead her to a magical journey.


Claimer: I own the concept of this story, and the character of Samantha.


Samantha Roberts awoke with a HUGE smile on her face. Today was her 13th birthday, and she was very excited. She got dressed, and ran downstairs, where her mom greeted her.


Later, Samantha opened her presents. One of them was from her mom: A sun-shaped necklace. ":Aw, it's beautiful. Thanks mom!" Samantha put it on, not realizing that this necklace would change her life forever.


Later that afternoon...


Samantha was sitting around, staring at the necklace she just recieved. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but something about the thing seemed... magical. She decided to take a stoll through town.


But, as she was walking, she noticed something. A weird, lizard like creature was destroying the town!


"AAH!!! I could call the police, but... wait... what's happening?" Samantha's necklace started to glow. "Or... I could take care of this myself," Samantha said without warning. "SUN MAGIC!"


In an instant, Samantha's normal clothes vanished, replaced with a super-kawaii yellow midriff top, yellow mini-skirt, and bright yellow boots.


As the terrified citizens ran for their lives, the monster continued his attack. "Roar! Soon, all of Earth shall be consumed by darkness!"


"SUN BURST!" came a voice out nowhere. Suddenly, a huge ball of sunlight appeared, blinding the lizard. "ACK! Who did that?"


"I'm terribly sorry for ruining your plans, but I cannot allow you to ruin such a beautiful day. I am the defender of sunlight, mistress of love, and protector of peace! I am... THE SUN GODDESS! And your evil ends now!" Samantha couldn't explain how she was able to say all that, but she didn't care.


"Humph... I don't care who you are, but you shall make a tasty morsel for my master." The lizard fired off a few shots of darkness, but Samantha was easily able to dodge it using her newly enhanced speed.


"BLAST! Stay still, will you?" The monster continued to fire away, but Sam continued to dodge his attacks, giggling the whole time. Soon, the demon became weak, which meant it was time to make her move.


"SUN BURST!" The big ol' sun reappeared, blinding the villian. Unable to do anything about it, the monster was forced to watch as Samantha called for her finishing move. "SUN REJUVINATION!" Beams of sunlight nailed the lizard creature, but it didn't destroy him. Instead, the rays transformed him into a more human-looking figure, no longer evil.


That job done, Samantha transformed back to her normal self. "Whoa! That was awesome!" She noticed the formerly evil being standing up, getting his bearings back. "What happened?" "I happened. Name's Samantha, but you can also call me the Sun Goddess."


"Whoa! You're one of those Magical Girl types!" The boy squealed.


"Yep, apparently. What happened to you?"


"Well, I was walking back home when I encountered this weird shadow. It turned me into the vicious creature you just fought. Thanks for saving me. I'd better get home."


"See ya!" Samantha shouted as the boy walked away. "THANKS AGAIN, SUN GODDESS!" the boy shouted back.


"Wow! No wonder I felt something magical from this necklace. That was SO COOL!" Samantha walked back home, smiling and ready to take on any and all evil.

And, thus the adventure begins! Here's the background on Sam:

Name: Samantha Roberts

Age: 13

Birthday: June 16

Family: Mom, dad, is the only child in the family

Personality: Always cheery and friendly

Normal style: Blonde hair, worn down at all times, colorful shirts, blue jeans

Transformed style: Yellow mid-riff with a picture of the sun on it, yellow miniskirt, Yellow knee-high boots

Transformation Phrase (cause every magical girl needs one.) Sun Magic

Powers: Sunlight (she can create sunlight in any situation, can make the sun break through just by herself or someone else wishing for it)

Moves: Sun Burst (she creates a ball on sunlight at her opponent), Sun Rejuvination (she creates rays of sunlight, that turns evil beings into normal, human souls with no trace of evil left behind.)

About Samantha: She is NOT your typical Magical Girl leader. Many main characters in these types of stories are ditzy, clumsy, and crybabies. Well, sorry, but I like my ladies strong, courageous, and smart! Hence, why I created Samantha. She's always ready for battle, and totally loves her new gig.


Of course, Samantha will not be alone in this mission. She will gain partners, the first of which will be revealed in the next chapter
