--Chapter 1--
"Kaylene!!! COME ON already!!!" Allison yelled as she placed the palm of her hand against the middle part of the steering wheel, causing the car to make a beeping loud noise a few times.
Aly was about 18.She had long silky smooth dirty blond hair that was about waist long that waved in the slight breeze against her back. Her eyes that were as blue as the ocean. Her skin giving off a slight tan she worked up recently that worked well with her faded blue skirt that looked like it was cut at the bottom from all the little strings hanging and a white halter top hugging the top form of her body, making it very easy to tell that she was wearing a bikini underneath.
Then there was Sarah who was sitting in the passengers set next to Aly. Sarah just turned 17. She had straight shiny blonde hair that just barely reached below her shoulders. Sarah was more of a tomboy then the other two girls. She had on a pair of dark blue jeans with an Old Navy T-shirt. She was almost a little bit impatient yet laid back and daring. She was leaned back in the seat with her feet on the dash board.
"Psh...she probably lost her lip gloss.." Sarah muttered out in a teasing way, showing she was getting more inpatient by the minute in her own way.
"Sarah...hush.." Aly said in a calm relaxed voice before getting ready to yell again. "Kaylene!!" She beeped the car horn once more. "GET your butt down here now!" Aly yelled out, watching the second floor window as she too became impatient.
"Shut up!!! I'm coming!!! Geez!!" Kaylene yelled from her bedroom window that over looked the two girls in the shiny red jeep.
Kaylene was the youngest out of the three but was most favoritized cause of it. She was almost the most hyper and girly one next to Aly. Kaye was about to turn 17 soon which is why she suggested that they should go on this vacation they were getting ready for. Kaye took one last look in the mirror, making sure her about shoulder length dark shiny hair was good to go along with her outfit. A mini skirt that was slightly faded with a light pink glittery design that matched a light pink shirt she had on. It was off the shoulders to let her dark but not too dark tone of skin show with airbrushed like letters forming the word "Cutie" in the middle of the shirt.
Finally about a few minutes after Kaye said she was coming, she was out the door and loading two of her suitcases in the back. She then looked inside the jeep and gave a huff like sound. "How come I have to sit in the back?" Kaye asked in her pouty yet mature way.
"Because she wasn't fashionably late??" Aly was quick to respond. "Nooow come one already! We're late as it is!" Aly prodded and gave the signal to get in the car.
"Fiiine...I'll sit back here...ONLY because we're late!" Kaye muttered as she situated herself in the back seat, buckling up and looking out the side of the jeep which faced her home.
Aly turned the key that started the jeep's engine up before turning the wheel and stepping on the gas petal to get on the rode. It was quiet for the longest time or what seemed to be long anyways. Kaye was looking out of the jeep as if she was in deep thought, Sarah was in her own little world in a book she was reading that made her look like she was no longer with Kaye and Aly in the world. About an hour went by when Kaye leaned over towards Aly all jumpy like.
"Alllly!!" Kaye said in a pleading voice, her knees shaking up and down. "I neeeed to go to the rest room!"
"You shoulda went when you were home!" Aly added on as she kept her eyes on the road.
"I didn't have to go then!!" Kaye said still in her pleading voice.
"Fine.." Aly said while she gave off a light sigh. "I'll stop at the next gas station.."
"How far is that??" Kaye said all in a rush like.
"How should I know!?" Aly quickly responded.
A few more minutes went by before Kaye leaned back up towards Aly. "Are we there yet??"
"No.." Aly responded all calm like.
Kaye saw a green sign go by before she asked again. "Hooow about now!?"
"Does it look like we're there??" Aly asked, starting to get a little annoyed.
"I don't know!! I know I reeeally have to go!!" Kaye said all impatiently, leaning back into her seat and shaking her legs even more.
Sarah decided to bookmark her book and set it aside for later before she looked back at Kaye and giving off a faint chuckle.
"Argg...are we there YET!?" Kaye shouted out.
"YEP!" Sarah replied.
"REALLY!?" Kaye shot up in her seat.
"No! but we will be in a minute.."Aly corrected. A few minutes passed by before Aly saw a gas station good enough to stop as she pulled into a parking spot. Kaye showed no patients as she quickly unbuckled herself and jumped out of the jeep and dashing for the door.
"THANK GOD!!" Kaye shouted out while she ran. Leaving the two girls in the jeep laughing out of amusement.
Aly used this time to stretch out her legs as she placed her feet onto the dashboard and leaning back to stretch her arms out. Sarah watched the people inside the gas station for a moment before leaning forward and turning the radio on.
"So...how long are we going to be at the beach?" Sarah asked while trying to talk over the radio.
"About a week or two. Figure it could be one of Kaye's birthday presents. Plus, she needs to get away from home for a while." Aly responded before giving off a light yawn.
"Sounds like fun." Sarah replied before giving off a light yawn of her own that she caught from Aly.
"Ahh...I feel MUCH better!" Kaye yelled out as she swung open the store door that made a bell noise once it fully open. "Oooh! My jam!!" Kaye said as she could hear the radio playing 'Dontcha' by the Pussycat Dolls.
"I know...NOW get back into the jeep!" Aly said, hiding a little chuckle of her own.
"But...my jam!" Kaye said as she stopped herself from wanting to dance or sing or both.
"Just get in the car before we leave you.." Sarah added on with a little grin that formed across her lips.
Sarah and Kaye never really got along well. They were friends but not the close kinda friendship that you would see all the time. They didn't have a good past with each other but they were fine with each other now. They basically only hung out when ever Aly got together these get togethers they'd have every once in a while.
Kaye shot a slight little glare over to Sarah as she got into the jeep and buckled herself back up. "Annnnywhoo...how much farther till we get to the beach!?" Kaye asked as if she shifted from glarey piss off mood to a hyper wee mood instantly.
"About an hour or so more.."Aly took a guess before she backed out of the parking space and got going back on the highway. Not even a half an hour went by before Kaye grew a slight boredom in her system. Her arms crossed and her eyes on the scene outside of her window.
"So...are we there yet?" Kaye asked quietly.
"KAYE!" Both Aly and Sarah blurted out without even thinking.
"WHAT!! I was just asking! Shesh!!" Kaye huffed and stared back out of the window.
Finally about an hour went by with Kaye randomly asking that same 'Are we there yet?' question when Aly smiled bright. The wind blowing through each of the girl's hair and the faint smell of salt water meeting their noses. The sun warm and bright as it beamed down on them, causing their skins to be all warm like. A huge sign passing them that read in big white letters 'Ocean City'. The jeep came to a stop at a red light before she decided to tell them where they are.
"Okay chicks. Welcome to Ocean City!" Aly said all proud like. Aly had been here before a few times with her family but enough times to know her way around the place pretty well.
"Does that mean we are here?" Kaye asked as she popped her head out of the side window, looking around all amused like.
"No...we are loooong from here!" Sarah said all teasingly like before Kaye and Sarah exchanged a few glares.
"Mm...nothing better then being at the beach! The smell of the ocean from miles away, the hot sun beaming on you and..." Aly quickly stopped as she saw two guys walking across the cross walk that caught her eye. Both very well built and toned. One had a tan going on that looked like he put effort into the tan. He had short but long dark almost blackish hair with a hint of a smile he gave off but she couldn't see his eyes clearly so she guess they were blue. He looked to be about 5'8 or taller she was guessing as well. She thought he looked cute in his black and red swim trunks and a pair of sandals with a dark collared shirt. The other looked to be around 6'2 with dark brownish hair, he too with tanned skin. He had dark brown eyes that were easy to tell from the angle she was in. He was in a blackish, blue and silverish colored swim trunks and a black shirt that somewhat hugged his body figure.
"Ooooh...I'm liking this place already!" Kaye said as she leaned forward, getting a better look at the two guys walking by.
"You can say that again!" Aly added on with a smile. Her eyes seeming to catch the guy in the collar shirt as Kaye had her eyes on the other one.
Sarah just sat there and stared at the two girls, then the guys before shaking her head slowly. "I can see this happening aaaaall vacation.." She muttered to herself but she actually didn't mind it at all seeing how she couldn't help looking at the guys either.
Aly and Sarah both saw the two guys quickly glance at their direction before the sound of car horns behind them made the three girls practicly jump out of their seats since it was a green light and they were holding up traffic.
"Holy...!!!" Aly blurted out before hitting the gas petal and driving back on the road. They all became pretty quiet after that. Sarah in her state of mind on what this whole vacation is going to be like. Kaye with the guys on her mind and wondering if she'd see those guys again. Even though it was a very slim chance for that. Aly was too busy trying to find the right roads and the hotel they were going to be staying at. Eventualy they finally made it to a hotel that Aly wanted to surprise them with. It was a 5 star hotel named "Razda Suites". It was on the ocean, perfect view of the ocean and city with valet parking since it was a fancy hotel.
"Whoah...now that's a hotel.." Sarah said all amazed like. Her eyes all big and her mouth slightly dropped. Kaye was the same way. More like speechless knowing that Aly was doing all she could for Kaye's birthday. Aly wasn't really all that wealthy but she had enough to just barely be called wealthy which she loved to share with only Kaye and Sarah. Though Kaye was almost as wealthy since their fathers worked together in the law business. Sarah's mother was a doctor so she too had a bit of money herself.
"Is this where we are staying at??" Kaye asked while Aly parked the car. Aly unbuckled herself as Sarah unbuckled herself shortly after.
"Yep.."Was all Aly said as she pulled the handle of the door to open it. Then stepping out of the car and stretching her body. "Feels good to be out of the jeep!"
"I'll say!" Sarah added on as she too got out of the jeep and stretched aswell. She then went to the back of the jeep and started to unload their belongings while Aly went inside to check in.
Kaye unbuckled herself and got out of the jeep and stretched too. She looked around, looking at the busy traffic going on and the people walking around, the sound of the waves crashing the pesky food wanting seagulls that never leave anyone alone."Oooo...I can't Wait to hit the shops!" Kaye said to break the silence.
"Is that all you think about? Hair, clothes, shopping, and guys?" Sarah asked as she unloaded the last of their belongings.
"No...you forgot shoes too!" Kaye added on with a sarcastic smile.
"Typical.." Sarah mumbled under her breath as she leaned her back against the back side of the jeep.
"What do you mean typical??" Kaye asked with a glare shooting directly at Sarah.
Sarah gave the same kind of glare back at Kaye. Not in any rush to respond to Kaye's question till she finally broke the glare off and looked down at the ground, rubbing the bottom of her sandals against the cement all bored. Kaye was about to say something before Aly interrupted by waving hotel keys in their faces.
"Hehe! Hotel grand suite here we come!" Aly said all excitedly proud like. Growing the urge to get to the room even more then before.
"Grand suite? No way!" Sarah picked her head up with a smile that grew across her lips. She was starting to get use to this grand life of 5 star hotels like this.
"Yes way!!" Aly said as she jumped up and down all excitedly. Like a little girl would do when she received a new doll or something.
"Well...what are we waiting for!?!? First one in gets to choose the bed first!" Kaye yelled out, grabbing her belongings and taking off towards the hotel doors.
Aly couldn't help but laugh. "Tch...If only you knew what room we're in!!" She yelled before taking off after Kaye.
"Oooh... nice!” Sarah said with a grin as she watched. Then realized she was supposed to go with them too. "Hey!! Wait up for me!!" Sarah yelled out all pathetically while caring stuff in one hand and waving her other hand about like it would help or something while she ran after them.
"Wow...this place is HUGE!!" Sarah said after coming to a stop right behind Kaye and Aly as she stood right in the middle of the hotel. The hotel was very fancy looking. Marble floors, glass doors and windows, decked out in gold and silver. Something you would see in the movies. Most of the people either sitting or walking around in the wealthiest clothes and top designer wear. All three of them took a look at the people, then down at their own clothes.
"Maybe... we dressed a little casual?" Sarah said all quietly like.
"Yeah...talk about feeling out of place.." Kaye added on shortly.
"Oh come on..we're paying customers! We wear what we want nooow come on! I can't wait to see what our room looks like!"
Aly said. She really didn't care what other people thought of them. She just wanted to have fun. Smiling, she scanned the place to find the elevators. It was hard seeing how this place was too huge to cover in one day, but she eventually found them as she walked over to them and pressed the up button. Sarah leaned her back against a wall as for Kaye and Aly...they finally lost it in the reflection of the golden walls that could be used as mirrors from how shiny they were.
"Oooonly you two..." Sarah said as she watched them amusingly.
"Oh like you've never checked yourself in the mirror before!" Aly said with a smile.
"Well...not on walls!" Sarah said sarcastically before the elevator doors suddenly opened, leaving Sarah to fall backwards into the elevator floor and looking up at the ceiling while Kaye and Aly busted out laughing.
"No...but elevator ceiling mirrors!!" Kaye added on between her laughs.
"Like I was supposed to know the walls opened up into elevators!!" Sarah said a bit loudly while she stood up. But she couldn't help but laugh at herself.
"Mhm...suuure!" Aly teased as she got into the elevator with Kaye happily tagging along.
Aly pressed the 10th level button that made the elevator doors close. Waiting for a short quiet moment before they came to a stop and the doors opened up. The three girls quickly got their belongings and took off down the hall. The hall was just as pretty as the lobby. Marble flooring, golden poles, mirrored walls instead of the classic hotel wallpaper. Finally Aly stopped at a door numbered 1088 and placing the key in the slot, then pulling it out quickly and turning the handle.
"Okay...welcome to the Razda grand suite!" Aly shouted out before pushing the door open. All three of their mouths came to a drop with wide eyes. They couldn't believe how big and beautiful the room was. The room was as big as 2 full sized living rooms put together if not bigger. Even the bedroom floors was all marble not carpet. Two neatly made king size beds with a chocolate mint on each pillow and a rose placed neatly on each bed. Bath robes hanging on the door followed by cozy white slippers under the robes. A plate full of fruits and candy as the hotels common way of saying thanks.
"I can't believe this room! I've never seen anything like it!" Kaye say all excitedly.
"Neither can I!!!" Sarah added on before picking a few grapes and popping them into her mouth.
Aly was too amazed herself. Knowing the door would close on it's own, she walked in and placed her things on one of the bed. Then walking over to the window and pushing the fabric to the side before sliding the door open and walking out on the deck. The deck wasn't that big but big enough for the three of them. Three lounge chairs lined up neatly with a round table in the middle. Aly walked over to the railing and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath as she smelt the warm ocean breezy air.
"Wow...it's so nice out here!" Sarah said quietly. Aly didn't realize Sarah was leaning on the railing next to Aly who was staring out into the sun setting scene that made the ocean even more beautiful. Aly's eyes opened up to see the exact same scene Sarah saw. It was truly something to see. Something she wanted to see for a very long time.
"So...when are you going to tell Kaye?" Sarah asked. Aly was in a content mood for the longest moment, just focusing on the ocean before her gaze shifted over to Sarah.
"I will tell here.. just not right now.." Aly said quietly. Her voice so calm and content yet with a hint of sadness. It was another reason why she brought Kaye on this trip. Though she was dreading the moment when she will have to tell her sooner or later.
"You know...the longer you wait, the more hurt she will be.." Sarah added on. She was being quiet and calm about it but she knew if she didn't keep reminding Aly, she would just keep putting it off.
Aly bowed her head down, looking down at the earth below her. Then people walking along the wet sticky sand, some with couple holding hand in hand and others with a group of friends just being silly and young. Aly gave out a light sigh before she nodded slowly and traveled her eyes over to Sarah who was staring at her. "I will tell her when the time is right.." Aly said before walking into back into the room. Aly was quiet for the rest of the night as Sarah unpacked her things and Kaye was quick to fall asleep on one of the beds with Sarah and Aly quickly to fall asleep after Kaye. All spread out along the beds, too tired to even get under the covers.
--End of Chapter 1.-
"Fiiine...I'll sit back here...ONLY because we're late!" Kaye muttered as she situated herself in the back seat, buckling up and looking out the side of the jeep which faced her home.
