So I left off at the summoning right? So here goes…

Chapter 2.

The Northern Summoning

The battlefield on Zyon was silent. Only the moans of the fallen

demons could be heard. A woman cloaked in a dark blue robe stood close to the center

humming softly for her fallen companions…"May the Goddess of Zyon protect you…my

friends…" She sighed softly and brushed back her sandy blonde hair, her blue-gray eyes

staring off into the sky. "Marina…" She turned slightly her stormy blue eyes dull and

lifeless "Yes of course it is time to leave…it seems a shame that we cannot bury them

and return them to the mother's deep embrace…mayhap I shall burn them so the crows

won't be able to defile them…" She gazed at the Warrior, who had vowed his life to her,

he was quite handsome with his dark brown hair and eyes the color of the deepest ocean,

yet he was always so silent…even in the middle of a battle he would not utter one

syllable only orders to his troopers. Marina turned away from him and took in the

mayhem that lay about them. It was a stupid war those dumb demons thought they

actually stood a chance against their magic and their guardians strength...HA!! They

showed them! All those stupid people who thought she was evil had no idea that SHE

the Mage of Zyon had saved their puny worthless lives at the cost of her friends!! Marina

threw back her head, her hair whipping in the wind as she called forth her fire dragon.

She smiled at the feeling of chaos as her dragon rose to the land…"Heero stand close to

me and stay clear of the flames," she yelled through the winds to her companion. She

raised her arms and spread her hands apart as she guided the dragons flame in huge

leaping arks through the grass fields. Memories of her fallen companions swept through

her mind as the fire lay waste to the area…Vivi (ff9), Christian, Sara, April, Lizzy,

Adam, George, Carol, Jessica, Ray, Chasity, Geran, Chase, and so many more…names

and faces all flashing through her mind as the fire roared and howled seeming to have a

life of it's own. Heero gently wrapped his arms around her and hugged her as she

sobbed, tired and angry. The flames eventually died down without the mages support

and Marina never quite remembered when she and Heero faded out of the world of Zyon,

where the pain of one mage was to be remembered always on the charred plains of Demons cove.

Kaori brought the Epyon into a spiral and dived towards Death scythe. Duo let out a cry

of shock as his mobile suit was hit and sent spinning towards the ground " YOU

FOOOOOOOLLLLL!!!" Kaori's dark brown eyes glittered dangerously as she heard the

insult…she grabbed her Gun blaster and shot at the purple eyed god of death "DON'T

CALL ME NAMES, LOSER!!!!" she tossed back her long black hair and laughed

mockingly at the Gundam pilots failure to retaliate. Duo sat back in his suit and muttered

darkly to himself. Kaori giggled and twirled about, the Epyon glinting in the sun

"C'mon!! Is that all you got God of Death or should I say God of Wimps!!!

AHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!" The sheer exhilaration of being in battle pumped in her

blood and sent her into another fit of giggles, she was so busy laughing that she nearly

got hit by Duos next assault. She smiled smugly as she easily evaded that attack. She

dodged his repeated blows as fast as she could. From the ground the battle could only be

seen in a blur! Kaori sang as she fought her voice carrying her amusement straight

through the com unit. Duo grit his teeth and glared at the pilot of the Epyon "SHUT

UP!!!" Kaori kept on with her song enjoying the fact that she was annoying Duo greatly,

her voice carried perfectly, rising in crescendo as she rose to the sky, and lowering

slightly as she dived back down. Her heart pounding, mind racing, she feinted one of

Duos blows then thrust him back down with all her strength sending him, once again, to

the ground. " Get ready cutie!!! THIS MIGHT HURT!!!!" She charged up her beam

cannon and aimed directly at the pilots seat…. Duo closed his eyes as he saw her pull the

trigger expecting to die when instead of hearing a huge bang he heard her mocking

laughter and some disgustingly awful sounding music…he peered at his com unit…and

there in big red letters were the words "I WIN BEAUTIFUL!!!!!" but that wasn't the

worse part…….there was a picture of him in a….BIKINI!!!! And it was being broadcasted all over the world!!!

"DDDDDDDDDDDDIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!" Kaori shrieked as Duo's

mobile suit crashed into hers, griping it tightly and heading full force towards the

atmosphere "LET GOOOOOOO!!!!" she shrieked! Duo ignored her and kept

flying very fast and very recklessly, (this time she went too far!) he thought. Kaori

closed her eyes and………..nothing……?!?! From the ground the people could see both

mobile suits vanish into thin air like if they'd never even existed…

"RION!!" Kathy looked up from her bed at the sound of that agonized cry. She was 14

yrs. old and had lived here most of her life and never in all those years had she been able

to leave this disgusting prison. Her green eyes widened slightly as she moved away from

her cell and followed the sound of the female voice. "Mama is that you?" She hoped

that it wasn't her mother that cried, she could remember quite clearly how Dorothy could

make anyone cry. She moved on towards the stairs where Dorothy's chambers were, a

slight breeze ruffling her coppery hair. "Mama…m-!!" she stumbled to a stop as

someone grabbed her leg, "Help me up you idiot!" It was Cain!! She swallowed hard

controlling her anger and lowering her psychic readings to a minimum. "Of course," she

replied meekly. Cain grabbed for her hand and struggled to regain his footing. " Mother

is gone," he stated bluntly. Kathy eyes flared with disgust " SHE is NOT my mother" she

seethed. Cain stared at her then turned " We have to leave here… I'll retrieve Lilia… she

doesn't deserve to be in such an awful place like this any longer." The caring in his voice

shocked her. " Are you going to stay here or are you going to help me!" Kathy stared at

Cain for a while then turned her back on him. " I will not help you Cain, but you take

care, O.k.." She watched as he nodded and went after the young lady named Lilia. She

still was sitting there as he led her down the stairs 30 minutes later, "Who is she?" Lilia

asked quietly. " She's one of Dorothy's Galerians. Her names Kathy." Lila nodded and

let her self be guided outside by Cain. Kathy glanced up at the top of the tower and

slowly stood up and made her way there. She glanced around and noticed that someone

was still there "Hello." She greeted him, but no one answered so she inched closer

towards him, "Hello?" Still no answer. She bit her bottom lip and moved even closer so

that she could see who this person was. "CAIN!!" (No it can't be Cain) she thought (He

just left.) " Your still alive you know…your just sleeping…I can tell `cause your life

energies still there…do ya wanna wake up now `cause I'm really lonely…Dorothy took

my mama away from me so I'm all alone…" She looked at the boy who was so much

like Cain and yet more nicer , and cuter too. She smiled at his sleeping form and

gathered her energy about her, "This won't hurt…and I know you can hear me `cause

your body may be sleeping but your mind is still awake!" She let the flow of her energy

enter him slowly and waited eagerly for him to respond. He sat up slowly, shaking his

blondish brown hair out of his blue eyes "Uhhhhhh…" He glanced up at her then stuck

his hand out in greeting "Hello." Kathy smiled eagerly and shook his hand warmly "Hi!"

"My name is Rion Stiener." She nodded slowly "Mines Kathy…I've heard of

you….Dorothy was scared of you…she was a very bad thing….I hated her…" Rion

sighed, and nodded his agreement "I know what you mean…!?!" The tower lurched

violently sending both Rion and Kathy sliding towards the door! " WE GOTTA GET

OUT OF HERE!!" She clutched at Rions hand and dragged him towards his feet, "C'mon

this way!!!!" Rion led the way towards the stairs but they never made it, they vanished

before they even had a chance to get there.
