Just a little poem thing I wrote for the first bit of action in the Final Fantasy VIII opening. Obviously, the enemy is Seifer, but the lover isn't Rinoa (shudders); it's the sexy Galbadian slut...*cough* I mean cowboy. Yaoi obviously, but only cause they kiss and touch...nothing graphic, and I added a bit, because obviously, Squall doesn't know Irvine at that point.
Okay, Squall is the one speaking since I had a complaint about that. The first two verses are Squall/Irvine, next two are Squall/Seifer, then back to Irvine & Squall for two, bringing us to the Seifer/Squall battle conclusion...any more confusion, loves?

Weapons clash in the early morning
As I fight against my will.
And as you strike your final blow
You use all of your might
He steps out of the darkness
To avenge his fallen night
Now it's my love who falls
And you fall with one blow
And with my enemy and my lover dead
I know not where to go.
(A/N: Ever seen yaoi woven into a poem? I'm sorry, but it's hinted very strongly in the game that Seifer and Squall's relationship was somewhat…erm, close, and well, I think Irvine is too pretty to be with the ladies…and Rinoa is a princess brat and doesn't deserve Squall…Obviously, the enemy is Seifer, the lover is Irvine, and it's from Squall's POV. Please R/R)
