A beam of light strikes the ground, revealing the Survival Project team.
Hawk: "Whoa, where are we?"
Mithos: "Actually, I don't know."
Hazel: "WHAT?! WE'RE LOST?!" *Strangles Mithos*
Mithos: "S-S-Settle d-down... H-H-H-Hazel...!!!"
Everyone eventually sets up a campsite.

Regal: "I'd like some Gels and Life Potions please."
Shopkeeper: "Sure. What kind do you need?"
Lyn runs in: "Regal! We have a problem!"
Regal: "What's the matter?"

Hawk: "You got owned by a kid."
Cream: *sniff sniff* "Hey... I smell something good!"
Hazel: "It better not be Sven's doing. If I EVER eat that stuff again, I'm going to be bulimic."
Mithos: "Don't worry about it. I'm cooking."
Shamoo: "He says he cooks a good stew."
Hazel: "Ssh... you don't want Sven to ruin it."

Mithos: "Just a few more minutes and it'll be ready."

Regal and Lyn run out of the city, meeting with Eliwood and Hector.
Eliwood: "Just in time!"

Everyone (still alive) runs and attacks.

Roland slashes through another line of enemies, escaping the dungeon.
Roland: "Hey! Look!"
Lucy: "That's a big bear."
Roland: "And it's attacking people!"
Lucy: "We need to help!"
Roland: "I had the same idea."
Lucy and Roland run towards the monster.

Regal: "Don't give up!" *Attacks with a roundhouse kick*
Eliwood: "Flare Slash!" *Attacks with his sword, emitting fire*
Hector: "Good work! He's lit on fire!"
Regal: "Don't hold back!" *Attacks one more time, knocking him out.*
Roland and Lucy arrive.

Roland: "My name is Roland."

Eliwood (to Regal): "Wait a minute... these guys look familiar..."
Regal (to Eliwood): "Yeah, they resemble those people led by Mithos."
Roland: "Have you seen any of these guys?" *Shows a picture of the Survival Project team*

Lyn: "These are the same people that attacked us just a while ago!"
Roland: "Wait... then that means..." *Steps back* "You're the guys who stole the Orb from us!"
Lucy: "Stealing's not nice! Give it back!"

Roland: "Yes. The Legendary Orb is the only thing keeping this world from tearing itself apart!"
Hector: "Wait..."
Regal: "I can explain. This Orb is said to grant infinite powers to anyone who holds it."
Roland: "That's right. And the one who should hold it is the world, because without it, it will break apart!"
Regal: "Wait, before you explain anymore, let me get the potions I was about to buy."
Shopkeeper: "Don't worry. Here you go. You're the president of Lorenzo Industries, correct? Take them, free of charge."
Regal: "I can't just take them for free. Here." *Hands over a bag of Gald and takes the gels and potions*
Shopkeeper: "Thank you, Mr. Bryant." *Bows and leaves*
Regal: "All we have to do is sprinkle these potions on Lloyd and everyone and they'll be brought back to life."
Lyn: "How handy."

Mithos: "Lunch's ready!"
Shamoo: "Ooh! That smells so good!"
Aurelli: "I'm starved! Let's dig in!" *Grabs the first bowl and chows down*

Raine: "So that explains all the frequent earthquakes!"
Lloyd: "But what about the Tree of Rebirth?" (In the ending, Lloyd is given the opportunity to rename the Great Kharlan Tree.)
Raine: "I'm guessing that the Tree of Rebirth only energizes the world with mana. The Orb keeps the world from collapsing from its gravitational forces."
Roland: "That's safe to guess. So, without the Orb back in its place, the world will continue to collapse slowly."
Lloyd: "That means we need to return the Orb."
Roland: "Right. One problem though... the Orb Shrine has collapsed. We need a new place to put the Orb and Seal it."
Zelos: "Seal it?"
Roland: "Right. According to ancient writings, the Legendary Orb was created alongside the creation of the planet to supply it with power to survive. The Creator sealed the orb in its place, the Fire Dungeon..."
Raine: "The Ruins of Fire."
Lyn: "And The Dragon's Gate."
Roland: "Right. The Fire Dungeon is where the Orb stood, powering the planet and protecting it. But the seal the Creator puts eventually wore off. He assigned eight people to renew the Orb's Seal. We are also chosen to renew this generation's Seal, but then, you stole it right before we arrived."
Sheena: "Talk about perfect timing."
Roland: "Now that the Fire Dungeon is destroyed, we need a new place to put and Seal the Orb before this planet crumbles."
Lucy: "Wow, you're smart."
Roland: "Thanks."
Kiyobi: "That's some responsibility being put on such young kids."
Roland: "Actually, we're all around your age."
Lloyd: "Sixteen?"
Roland: "Yep."
Colette: "But you're all so small!"

Mithos: "You can disguise yourself as a guy too?!"
C.Mithos: "I know, it's creepy, but very handy." *Walks behind tree and becomes Cream again*
Mithos: "This is gonna be easier than I thought. You think you can disguise yourself as Lloyd?"
Cream: "Maybe." *Walks behind tree and becomes Lloyd*
Shamoo: "Whoa! That's pretty good!"
Xyrho: "I didn't know she had that ability."
