Day after day
A Gravitation fanpoem by Koko Kitty

I sit here alone; you're not by my side.
And I feel it. Inside, right here.
I'm not sure what draws me to you. Like a moth, to a light.
But I won't question it. As long as you're near.

I sit here thinking, of the times we're shared.
Of the many things we've done as two.
And I picture your well-known face, feel it under my fingers.
I want you back here. What should I do?

You're joined to me. In some inexplicable way.
In one I can't describe.
I close my eyes and I see you. And yet
Though you coax it, my soul still hides.

It's quiet. And I can hear every sound.
Your voice, does not fill the air.
And though I can imagine it; a strong, clear knowledge,
My hands, can't stroke your hair.

When will you come back? Prevail against my pushes.
See my wrongs, and how they're right.
Stumble with me, on these new, unknown steps,
Come back and hold me. Hold me at night.

I need you, need your strength, to keep me on track.
To tell me, that it's ok.
That it's all right to love you.
Day.
After day.
