Gravitation Fan Fiction ❯ Snowing on my grave ❯ Sing for you ( Chapter 1 )
I do not own gravitation or any songs Linkin Park made!
Shuichi got down on his knees in front of his captor, whimpering and giving him his cutest look. His lover could be so tough to persuade.
"Yuki, It'll be fun! There's even a bar where we're playing! Please, I just want to see you, there… pleeeaaasssee?"
A soft grunt was heard. Amber eyes fixed on the begging form below him, Yuki sighed. Why did Shuichi have to be such a pain in the ass? He stood, and extended a hand to the azure-eyed teen. Gratefully taking the offer, Shuichi stood, pleading gaze never wavering.
"I suppose," He glared at Shuichi hard, "But only this once, Shuichi. Don't get used to it."
Said boy launched himself onto his grumpy Itooshi, smothering him with kisses.
"Enough! But I expect something in return…" He raised an elegant eyebrow, trying to make his message clear. Shuichi face-vaulted.
"Alright, alright. But only if I clearly see your face in the crowd." Shuichi beamed. If Yuki really wanted him, whom of course did, then he would have to be at least in the front row.
~*~ Concert ~*~
Fan girls screamed wildly, some actually fainting in the raving moshpit, as a orange-and-black leather clad boy, with short cherry tresses and alluring sapphire eyes sauntered on stage. Said boy scanned the crowd, and smirked when he saw the object of his desire. This whole concert was a way to show Yuki how he truly felt about their relation ship.
The announcer spoke, "Instead of a traditional song they created," he paused, "These boys will be remaking the song `In the end' by Linkin park!"
The music started and the main singer slowly tapped his foot along with the beat. He took a deep breath, "It starts with love…"
A man, with long brown hair and chocolate eyes cut in, "One thing, I don't know why, it doesn't even matter how hard you try. Keep that in mind I designed this rhyme to explain in due time,"
Shuichi noted that Yuki was in fact in the front row, wide-eyed, and looking straight at him, as he sung the next part. "All I know…"
"Time is a valuable thing, watch it fly by as the pendulum swings, watch it count down to the end of the day, the clock ticks life away,"
Blinking away the tears that threatened to spill, he kept going, "It's so unreal…"
"Didn't look out below, Watch the time go right out the window, Trying to hold on, but didn't even know, wasted it all just to"
Crystalline tears poured down poor Shuichi's face as he stared right at Yuki and shouted, " Watch you go!" It took all his might just to keep that note from wavering as the others continued on.
"I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart. What it meant to me, will eventually be a memory of a time when,"
Shuichi chocked a sob that strained to get out.
"I tried so hard! And got so far! But in the end, it doesn't even matter! I had to fall, to lose it all… But in the end, it doesn't even matter!"
He sobbed softly and the guitar player continued to sing, glancing at his pained friend.
"One thing, I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try. Keep that in mind I designed this rhyme to remind myself how,"
The fans were ecstatic and Shuichi almost looked as if he were ready to run off stage as he and Yuki continued to stare each other down. Both had tears in their eyes, Shuichi was the one who was letting his go. He sobbed a little louder before he continued, "I tried so hard…"
Both other band members shook their heads as they continued.
"In spite of the way you were mocking me, Acting like I was part of your property. Remembering all the times you fought with me, I'm surprised,"
"It got so far…" Yuki chocked down his sobs at the love and passion Shuichi was putting into this. This was how he felt? Kami-sama, Yuki knew he was sad that whenever Shuichi wanted to see him; it always went wrong, but… this? Why hadn't he said anything??
"Things aren't the way they were before," both members were glaring thoroughly at Yuki, "You wouldn't even recognize me anymore, not that you knew me back then, But it all comes back to me"
"In the end…" this time, the note wavered at the end and he sobbed, down out loud.
The drummer looked about and felt as though he had to stop right now. But he remembered Shuichi's command.
~~* Flashback *~~
"Ok, tonight, I'm giving it my all! As should you two!" he beamed at his buddies, and placed a hand on the black-haired boy's shoulder. "No matter how bad I may look, I want you to keep going!! Give it all you got!" He winked as ran out of the room.
~~* End of flashback *~~
"You kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart. What it meant to me, will eventually be a memory of a time when I…"
"I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter! I had to fall, to lose it all, but in the end, it doesn't even matter!" He paused and collapsed, crawling towards the edge of the stage as he continued to sing.
"I've put my trust in you… pushed as far as I can go, and for all this, there's only one thing you should know…"
Yuki strolled past the guards and reached his hand out to the boy who desperately needed him. Shuichi smiled sadly and sat on his knees. He reached his hand out to the air in front of him, and sang his heart out.
"I've put my trust in you, pushed as far as I can go. And for all this, there's only one thing you should know! I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end it doesn't even matter…"
he turned his face to the ceiling and closed his eyes. He drew in a shuddering breath as he touched his neck.
"I had to fall, to lose it all, but in the end…"
He collapsed on the floor, eyes still closed, laying in a slump, he whispered, "It doesn't even matter..."
The cheers went up, so loud, you could probably go deaf from it. Shuichi stood and ran off stage, while the others took off after him. Yuki ran out of the crowd, and to the back stage. There, he found Shuichi, crying his heart out. He placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. Shuichi gasped, and turned quickly to see who it was.
"Yuki… I…"
"Shuichi, I'm sorry. I should have… why didn't you tell me? I could have…"
Shuichi put a finger of his rambling boyfriend, and silenced him further by placing his lips over Yuki's. His tongue met Yuki's and they spared for dominance, while they also stared each other down. Finally, after they broke apart, Shuichi smiled.
"I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to worry. I knew you should have known. But I thought… being the egotistic person you are, you wouldn't of gave a damn. So, after I made up my mind about telling you…" he glanced over at where his friends stood, gawking at them, "I didn't know HOW to tell you. So I went to my friends… and… well…" he gave an uneasy grin. Yuki shared a rare smile, and stood, with Shuichi in his arms.
"Come on, Love. How about you and me go out and have a bite to eat? After all, you must be pretty stressed out."
And with that, they started walking towards the exit.
"I get to drive!" Shuichi shouted as he dashed for the car. Yuki groaned and chased him.
"Shuichi! You place one finger on that car and I'll…"
