Gravitation Fan Fiction ❯ Until Then ❯ Until Then ( Chapter 1 )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

Authors Note: No I can't explain how the dead write poems, just go with it.

---

The clock hands move swiftly,
around a broken and worn face.
The endless expanse drifts past,
to be broken by nay a ripple of chance

We move on, we grow and expand,
the memories faded and events disappear.
Life huddles and protects those it holds dear,
Effort and change, knowledge long lost.

The cry of a voice,
the touch of a hand.
The memories reply,
and the tears again land.

Tomorrow is missing,
the sun not yet to rise.
Forever in darkness,
we are forced to hide.

Trust, betrayed, secrets told,
a moment in time, captured in gold.
The red stain, a mark to bare,
apologies, to late to behold.

A sightless darkness,
an unfinished melody.
The un-complete paining,
of a broken tapestry.

Cold and unbending, shunning deaths embrace,
the flare of a match, a shining face.
Life entwined in forever a time,
fates deciding between two threads of twine.

A need to conquer, a need to be strong,
a want to love, a want to do wrong.
The hope of tomorrow, the hope of the past,
the loss of a lover, the loss of his chance.

Eternity calls out,
let it gather one more.
The cold winter night,
calls at one’s door.

Forgiveness of blessing, forgiveness of time,
forgiveness of light, forgiveness of pain.
Forgiveness of tomorrow, forgiveness of today,
forgiveness of the past and let if fade away.

The sun is rising,
a new dawn to see.
The ghosts of memory,
still attempting to see.

The teacher forgotten,
as the student ascends.
The pride of a man,
on dreaming depends.

Love, tattered and torn,
struggling to mend.
Morals and values,
begging to send.

Darkness is creeping,
along low, shadowed walls.
And the man of the past,
is struggling to walk tall.

Love, light and laughter,
tears, fear and pain.
A shot, a cry and blood on the floor,
I promise forever, and delivered much more.

Eternity tied, two lives entwined,
an act of betrayal and darkness to bind.
Healing comes at a price to high to give,
a moment to change, for the life yet unlived.

To forget, to remember,
to suffer, to live.
To dream, to fear,
to kill, to steal.

Emotions take hold,
and a young child grows bold.
The night does in the coming light,
illuminating a soul once so bright.

To forgive the dead,
to forgive the living.
To forgive the heart,
to forgive the daydreaming.

An apology, too late to be told,
a heart, to empty to hold.
A trusting hand, a warm embrace,
Maybe this hope, will soon end the race.
