The start of this chapter is rather dark, but I promise the half of the chapter will be more light and funny, Usagi's a little in this chapter. DON'T HURT MEEE!

A silhouette of a woman sat by the lake her hand into the water. Her long golden hair spilled around her small, delicate her crystal blue eyes reflected the calm of the lake in of her, her rose bud lips pulled back over her pearly teeth in angry sneer. She was wearing a soft, pale summer dress that drifted her knees, the woman was stifling her tears of pain and anger, eyes changed from that blank cerulean to a flaming indigo as one solitary tear slid down her cheek, they would pay! Those people had taken her family would regret the day they did! In her other a piece of paper was held, scrunched in her hands.Back********
"Usagi!" Called a voice frantically, the figure of her best appearing over the lush, blood red roses at the park, "Usagi, Come quick!" Said the tall woman With Raven hair, her bangs worried Amethyst eyes, her mouth in a thin line and an frown was settled onto her face (A.N: Hey are we talking the same Rei here?) Usagi jumped out of the long grass in which she
was lying, startled at the panicked note. Her mane of golden hair swirled wildly, came to rest at her ankles as she ran to the frustrated woman. What's wrong! Why are you crying? You can tell me." Usagi holding close her dear friend. Rei looked at her best friend sympathy, "It's not about me... Usagi some one has attacked your while you were out! I'm so sorry... I don't know what has but the police are at yours now..." She sobbed; Usagi felt though the ground beneath her feet had been taken away from her, throat was feeling scratchy and dry. Without a single word uttered, ran out of the park, tears streaming down her cheeks. She ran her legs started to give out under her. Gasping for the fresh air seemed to have disappeared out of the atmosphere, she reached the only to knock the breath out of her body.
Caution tapes were draped around the front entrance to the house, cars were parked on the pavement, their lights still flashing the dimming light. She walked up to the yard, a young police officer her arrival, "Excuse me miss... no one is allowed in this area restricted sorry mam" He stated apologetically an arm on her as he propelled her towards where the stunned neighbors stood the edge of the tape watching with a morbid curiosity that sickened soul. Knocking away the officers hand she swirled around to him, her delicate features contorted in uninhibited anger, "Get from me! My family is in there!" she snarled, trying to push past when he resisted, she practically threw him to the side, her insanity fuelling her strength. She tore past the tape and into the door of her home, her eyes widened in fear as she a smear of blood on the wall by the staircase in the shape of hand print. Following the trail of blood up the stairs, fear settled a coil at the pit of her stomach, as the door led to her parents Something beckoned her, begging her to enter. She did. Blood from the walls in oozing masses, her father's fresh corpse her mothers, the putrid, bitter stink of the blood rising up nostrils. "Dad!? Mom!?" her voice came out crackled and dry, as she on her parents, grief striking her to the core. She felt something against the hand which lay on her fathers chest, looking up, she it was a small cylinder, glass and metal twisted together, and with a stopper in the shape of a dragons head, paper had inserted in it's mouth, all of a sudden, the Head became animated, emerald eyes flashed a brilliant green before the mouth moved and in a thick raspy voice. The voice of her father, "Usagi... Read when you are... alone." At that moment, she heard the police storm the stairs, she snatched up the cylinder and shoved it in her pocket climbing out of the window and into the tree, making her way to river.FLASHBACK*************Howled in anger, and remembered the contents of the letter;

To my dearest daughter Usagi,now, I am probably dead, I am sorry I did not tell you my secrets but I will tell you now. As you know I am a professor studying and legend, one day, I found a true legend, Vampires! They call you Kumori, means 'shadow'. I want you to learn to protect yourself against creatures, and eventually, you will have the power to destroy kind before they make you kill your own. Wiping away her hot salty tears, she headed slowly, but surely for Hino shrine on top of Cherry Hill. As she walked up the steps, and Deimos- Rei's life long friends- swooped down from a nearby, on a branch to observe her disheveled state "Shove off you big buzzards! Stop looking at me as though I were a piece of Usagi growled viciously, stomping onwards. Taking no heed of her the identical crows stared after her until she was out of sight.
The Hino shrine stood loftily amongst the sakura blossoms, its made from a fine Mahogany, adding to its rustic charm of the Stepping up onto the platform outside the large doors, Usagi off her shoes as a sign of respect and left them in the door way. inside, Usagi walked into the room which contained the sacred some how knowing that that was where the old man would be. And he was, sat in front of the holy flames, the light crashing the darkness that stood around the room, the old mans face had and sinister look to it, for the shadows had clung to him, making look gaunt and forbidding. Usagi managed a watery smile before herself into his arms in sobs of relief, meanwhile, the old was struggling to hold back his lecherous thoughts, he may have a priest, but he was certainly no saint!
"Grandpa Hino!!! Mum and Dad are.... Are..." she trailed off, the man more tightly to her chest, however, this old man was hard to stop the nose- bleed that seemed to be imminent, finding task extremely difficult as he was face-to-face with the young generous chest. "It's alright my child, I know what has He gasped, struggling to find a tissue in the girl's vice-grip (Fan Art for this plz!!!) Usagi sobered and let go of the old as she sighed, "its okay, I'm fine now" and she was, the numbness welcomed into her soul. The old man turned around and wiped away offending blood and then faced the girl "I know what you seek... revenge isn't the answer, it is not their choice on who they kill, must obey Sol. Head Vamp. Your destiny is to save the damned ones their hellish torment." He stated, Usagi's solemn expression into a sneer of bitter anger, "Why should I save them after they have done to my family?! Those Bastards deserve all the they get!" She snarled hatefully, Grandpa Hino sighed, closing eyes and rubbing his temples. "They didn't exactly offer to be the they are. They were all made vampires when young, Sol created them, be her army of darkness, unfortunately (or fortunately), most of have souls. Every time one of them disobeys her, she sends them to never ending pits of hell. They are afraid of her, there us nothing can do... except depend on you"
Usagi looked at the old man eyes wide, why was she the one that to be chosen for something so out of this world? As if he read her Grandpa Hino commented, "You, Child are different from anything have ever seen. Your father a creature of light... and your mother Lamia Vampire." Usagi managed a watery smile, her REAL parents; she remember ever being with them ever. But she did know that she her foster parents with all her heart. "What would my Father Usagi sighed, putting her head in her hands. Grandpa Hino took hands in his own as he said, "Your Father would have wanted to do what's right, not kill innocents in his name." Usagi stood up letting go of the old mans hands, "How can I help them when have no power or skill to do so! I'm useless to their cause!" she slamming her fist into the wall, not caring or wincing as the embedded themselves into her flesh. Hino flinched, "You do the power to help them, but it still within you, and you do have skill, but you need to harness it. Lay down by the fire, and on your self within..." Usagi complied, and lay on the concentrating deep within herself.

she was walking down a dark corridor, the blackness so thick that couldn't see her hand in front of her, she picked up the sound of running over pebbles and so she followed her hearing to where the originated from. There, in the middle of the darkness was a pool, and white contrasted, yet mixed together like the ying yang ; light and darkness, male and female, opposite sides. The Pool to her, so she reached out a tentative hand to touch the the black and white separated from each other. The dark fluid her, pushing her away towards the white, pearly surface of the fluid, she touched it and all of a sudden, it engulfed her in flowing power that coursed through her body like a gentle caress. flickered through her exultant mind, 'Father...' and the faded.
The world was blurry around her, light surrounded her, "It's good to you are alive Usagi!" Rei's sarcastic voice pierced her fragmented "Wha... happ'ned?" Usagi slurred, sitting up and rubbing her pounding head. Rei smiled and put down a tray of food on her table, "Grandfather says that you have acquired your fathers' but your mother doesn't want you to have hers." Usagi snorted "Thank you mum!" she went on sarcastically, Rei rolled her and sat down on her bum by Usagi's make-shift bed. "Maybe it's that you do not have that side of your heritage yet." She Usagi ignored her and started shoveling her face full with

I want to talk to him about my she asked, jumping out of bed and stripping off her pj's, Rei's suddenly sadistic expression, "Grandpa is going to teach how to control your magical energy, where as I am going to help you the ultimate whoop-ass technique known as the martial arts!" Usagi and tripped over the pair of knickers she was about to put into the floor she begged, "Please be joking Rei, PLEASE be but all she got for a reply was the sadistic gleam returning Rei's eyes, an evil grin spread from ear to ear, "Training starts in an hour Usagi, don't be late now will you?" and with that Rei got and left the room, leaving Usagi to calculate how long she could under the immanent torture Rei was bound to dish out.
After getting dressed, Usagi pulled her hair up in to two separate on each side of her head, each bun produced a streamer of hair fell to mid-calf. She was wearing an all in one black cat suit, grinned at her reflection in the mirror, not only did she look a spy, she felt like one too. Only when she saw the clock on the table did the smile fade, she was five minutes late "SHIT! gonna kill meee!!" she screeched and ran as fast as she could pretty fast *.*) down towards the courtyard.
Rei glared at Usagi as she screeched to a stop in front of her, are late Usagi, I was gonna be lenient but now I think I'll just right on with the good stuff!" with that Rei went in for the sending a blow to the right side of Usagi's head, making her into the side of the temple, "REI HAVE YOU GONE INSANE!" Usagi as she dodged another blow, but Rei ignored her and kept a number of attacks in her direction, knocking Usagi to the there was nothing but thick tension for a moment. She stood up, head bent towards the floor, Rei threw a punch to the right side of face, but it was blocked as Usagi's hand caught it in a painful Rei gasped in shock as Usagi looked up, blood dribbling from a of her smiling mouth, her eyes holding nothing of the kind of Usagi's but the mocking cruelty of an immortal being, her snaked out and licked the blood away "Let's play" Usagi's mouth yet it wasn't her voice. The hand that still held Rei's let go she lifted her hand up and threw it towards Rei's face, "Dammit!" growled, jumping up and delivering a kick to Usagi's side, Usagi and lifted Rei bodily and slammed her into the ground, making in the cement, Rei groaned in agony as Usagi stood over her, a grin placed on her face "I bet that hurt, let me make it more Rei stared in awe at her childhood friend, 'no wonder she given her power sooner, it makes her a monster!' Rei thought in fascination as Usagi leaned in for the kill. Quickly Rei's leg out underneath Usagi's legs, knocking her over, making her hit her on the ground. "Ouch..." was heard a moment later as Usagi sat up, her sore head, her eyes widened as she saw Rei sat on the breathing heavily, her face bruised badly. "Kami-sama! I'm so Rei!" she cursed, running towards Rei's side, Rei smiled, "At I know you don't need any training in that department, you have own self defense mechanism!" Usagi laughed apologetically, as Rei her around the head.
Later, by the great fire, Grandpa Hino smiled at Rei, who was busy at Usagi, "Well Usagi, it seems you don't need any training, all there within your mind, so all I advise you to do is meditate for your inner self." Rei snorted as Usagi grinned, "That's great all...but, when's lunch?" Rei grinned maliciously, "Sorry meatball it's dieting all the way for you." Usagi wailed,

Somewhere, an angry growl was heard in the darkness of the cave, has awakened!" Was the angry cry that followed, "Darla, Come a shadow commanded, a whimper was heard as another shadow into the light, she was a tall willowy woman with a pale and raven-wing hair, she was quivering in fear as the beckoned to all the others. "Come forth, my children and see incompetent scum before Me." a hiss of indrawn breath echoed the crowd, "Darla has failed me and I'm VERY disappointed. You have disappointed me Darla; you know what happens now, don't Darla cried out as she was lifted by an invisible force into the "I'm ANGRY, and when I'm angry people get hurt, even better, with that, Darla started to writhe in pain and agony, for mercy, "Mercy is no option!" the voice snarled, Darla one last time before she exploded into a shower of grey dust. this be a lesson to you all, I WILL NOT TOLERATE FAILURE!! Hiiro! now have the mission to turn her to our side, if all else HER." The voice hissed, the shadow of the other vampire and faded from view.
