Remus looked up from his journal, when he heard the voices of James and Sirius coming up the stairs, quickly he hid the journal in the secret compartment he had in his trunk and slammed down the lid just as the two raven haired boys walked into the room.
“Hey Remus are you going to stay up here all day?” asked James patting Remus on the head as he passed, sitting across from Remus. Sirius on the other hand looked uncomfortable just being in the same room as Remus, this had not gone unnoticed by neither James no Remus himself. Remus looked down to the floor suddenly finding his shoe laces quite fascinating.
“Sirius if you don't want to be in the same room as me that's fine, but don't just stand there like a bloody idiot.” said Remus quietly there was a slight quiver in his voice like he was about to cry, but he held in his tears refusing to be weak in front of them. James glared at Sirius before putting a supportive arm around Remus.
“That's insane, Remus.” said James, with a confident smile on his face his voice betrayed his face though and Remus knew that that was in fact it, Sirius didn't want to be in the same room as him.
Remus stood abruptly, pushing James arm off of his shoulder, he walked over to his trunk and slammed it closed, pulling it towards the door. James and Sirius stood with their mouths agape shock present on both of their faces. James recovered first. “What are you doing?” he asked, watching as Remus struggled to pull the trunk towards the door, which would have been hilarious if it wasn't for the fact that Remus looked as if he was about to cry. Remus gave up on the trunk and stormed out the door, running down the stairs and into the kitchen slamming head first into Mrs. Potter. She was about to scold him for running in the house until she saw tears streaming down his face, she suddenly took sympathy on him and helped him to his feet.
“Remus dear? What's the matter why are you crying?”
“I'm going home.” he said abruptly trying to get passed her with no avail, she put her hands on his shoulders and forced him to sit on the kitchen counter, pulling his face up so that her eyes could meet his.
“Why do you want to go home?” she asked, pushing his tear soaked hair out of his face.
“They are AFRAID of me Auntie, what can I do? I can't stay in the same room with them, not when they're afraid.” he sobbed, digging his head into her shoulder. She rubbed his back soothingly while glaring at both James and Sirius, who where eavesdropping from behind the kitchen door.
“School starts tomorrow, you'll have to stay in the dorm with them, what are you going to do about that?” she asked
“That won't be a problem.” He answered, pulling away from her, and wiping his face with the sleeve of his shirt.
“Why is that?”
“Because I'm never going back to Hogwarts again.”

There are many things that people don't understand, thing's that people think are weird or unusual. Things that don't people understand nothing about, but are afraid of them anyway. Things like werewolf's, vampire's, and even demons. All of which do exist but have to go into hiding because people are afraid, because it's something they can't or wont understand this is why I hate humans, this is why I hate my parents, this is why I hate myself. Sirius and James had just found out I was a werewolf about three days ago when a letter from the ministry had come for me. They had read the letter over my shoulder as I was reading and me as an idiot wasn't fast enough when closing up the letter . The look on their faces when they realized the truth broke my heart. James face was that of shock, wonder and fright. While Sirius's was that of fright and disgust. This is one of the reason's I never get close to anyone, not even the people I love most in the world. Maybe it would be better if I just lost contact with the out side world forever and never set foot into Hogwarts again. Remus J. Lupin, age 16
