She never paid attention until one day he came home with her sister Anna in his arms. Ivy's sister Anna died that day, Naraku told her that some men had beaten her but Ivy knew it was him. A few days later he disappeared, she never saw him again. Ivy is now 17 years old, her mother is dead. Chapter 2
New Friends and New Foes
As Ivy walks in the darkness of the night she thinks to herself, ^How will I find Naraku? What will I do when I find him? How will I kill him?^ she keeps walking, suddenly she hears a rustle in the leaves. “Who's there!?” she calls out. Ivy is on full alert now, and then in the darkness she hears a growl. “Behind you!” a voice called. As Ivy quickly turned around, she saw a dark shadow move out of the way. Then behind her she saw a wolf demon. “What do you want?!” she yelled at it. “Like you, of all people would understand.” She said almost to herself. She turned her head a little and then back to the wolf. “You're a man?” she said in confusion. “Yes, I do understand.” He said. “Well…are you going to attack me?” she said impatiently. “My name is Kiba and I am not going to attack you.” He said with sincerity. “My name is Ivy.” She said unsure. “Do not fear for we will not hurt you.” He told her with reassurance. “We?” she said confused. “Yes, we.” Said another one while he walked up behind her. “Who are you?” she asked him. “My name…is none of your concern.” He said angrily. “Tsume do not be rude!” Kiba yelled at him. “I apologize, Ivy you see we just lost two of your friends
In battle. We were fighting a man named Naraku.” He said. “Naraku!?” she yelled. “Yes do you know him?” asked Kiba. Ivy looked down in shame. “He's my step-father.” She told them. “I'm looking for him, he killed my sister. Then that lead to my mother killing herself.” She explained. “He's your dad?” Tsume asked. “Step-dad.” She corrected him. Tsume looked at her and then smirked. “I'm sorry for your lose.” She said as she cried silently. “Well…I just need you guys to point me in the right direction, so I can get my revenge with my Step-father Naraku.” she said, Kiba looked in her eyes he saw so much hate. “But…you are not strong enough. Tsume and I could not defeat him, and you are a woman.” Ivy looked at Kiba and smirked. “A woman, huh?” Ivy looked at Tsume and then back at Kiba, walked over to a tree and punch it with the tiger-fist technique. Then Ivy walked away, suddenly the tree started to shake as if an earthquake had hit it. Then in an instant the tree split in half. “What…how…whoa.” Kiba could not even speak. “Being a woman doesn't mean what it used to.” Ivy said. “Now can you please tell me which way he went?” she asked. Kiba looked at Tsume. “Wait…we will come with you on your journey!” said Kiba. “Hey speak for your self.” Said Tsume. “Please…Tsume do it for Toboshi and Hige.” Kiba said almost in tears. “I'm not going to ask you to come…I just want to get even with him.” Ivy explained. “Okay…I'll go, but not for you Kiba for Toboshi and Hige.” He said quickly. “Of course…what we do now is for Toboshi and Hige.” Kiba said. There were a few moments of silence afterward. “Well then let's get going.” Ivy told them. “Yes let us start our Journey to find Naraku!” Kiba said enthusiastically. “Oh brother…you are such a dork!” Tsume said as they began to walk. “So am I ever going to find out where we're going?” Ivy asked. “Not if Kiba is leading the way.” Tsume said as he began to giggle. “Are you…giggling?!” Ivy asked as she tried her hardest not to laugh. “Shut-up!” he yelled at her. “We are traveling to the village of Kaposi.” Kiba said as he kept talking. Suddenly Ivy stopped. “Did you just say Kaposi?” she asked as she looked at them both. “What do you think?” Tsume said sarcastically. “Ivy what's wrong?” Kiba asked. Ivy looked at Kiba then at Tsume and then at Kiba again. “Nothing.” She said as she walked on. Kiba looked at Tsume. “Ivy! Wait…what's wrong?” Kiba asked sincerely. Ivy glared at Kiba. “Kaposi…is my old home! I haven't been there in over ten years!” Ivy explained. Kiba thought for a moment, “We were looking for the five monks.” Kiba said as he walked next to Ivy. “The five monks? What's that?” Ivy asked. “A long time ago there were five men trying to open paradise. But they were killed in the time they were trying to open the portal.” Kiba explained. “Paradise? As in, the real Paradise?” Ivy asked. “Yes, but we couldn't get there because Naraku…your step-dad was looking for them too.” Kiba remarked. “But if their dead then…how…” “Their Spirits remain. Except for one, who lived through everything?” Kiba explained. “But why was he the only one who lived?” asked Ivy. “Because…um…well. He was the most powerful.” He said finally. “Okay…so we have to look for him now, right?” asked Ivy. “Yeah…pretty much.” He said. “Can we keep on walking!?” yelled Tsume from a distance. “Can ask you a question?” Ivy said to Kiba. “Of course.” He answered. “What where they like…Toboshi and Hige I mean?” Ivy asked hesitantly. “It's none of your business!” yelled Tsume. “I'm sorry, I just…” “Stay out of it!” Tsume yelled at Ivy as he walked ahead. “Please forgive Tsume he is still in much pain.” Kiba Explained. “It's okay, I know what it's like to lose someone you love.” She told him. “My mother died when I was 7, right after my sister…” she began. “What?” Kiba said. “Never-mind…I can't talk about this anymore.” Ivy looked up and silently cried. “Look! There's a little cottage!” Kiba yelled at the top of his lungs. Ivy looked at the cottage. “It looks abandoned.” Tsume remarked. Ivy stopped; she stared at the little fence that surrounded the place. She kept walking toward the house and then up to the door she stroked the door, then turned the door knob. “I haven't been here in over 10 years.” She told them. “I never came back after my mother died, too many sad memories.” She explained. As Ivy looked around she saw her sisters old doll on the ground, she picked it up. “My sister was only 5 when…I should have been with her that day, I could've stopped Naraku!” she said as the tears fell from her cheeks. “It wasn't your fault…you couldn't have stopped him anyway. You were too little.” Tsume explained. Ivy looked at him and once felt the tears start to swell up in her eyes. She walked into her old room, “This was my room.” she explained. “After my mom died I locked myself in this very room for days.” She tried to remember what she thought about while she was in here. “I often think about what my mother thought about before she died. Did she even care about what happened to me?” Ivy said almost to herself. “Of course she did, you were her daughter.” Kiba said trying to comfort her. Suddenly they heard evil laughing outside. Kiba and Tsume ran outside. “It's Naraku!” yelled Kiba. “Come to challenge me again?” Naraku said laughing. When Ivy heard Narakus voice she froze.
^The moment of truth. ^ She to herself. Ivy walked toward the door. “No! We haven't, but we know someone who has.” Kiba yelled at him. Ivy walked outside. “Remember me Naraku?” Ivy said as she stepped in front of Tsume and Kiba. “Well, well, well look who it is, Little Ivy, and her foolish friends.” Naraku said. “Well look at that there is one thing all of you have I common, I killed your friends and family.” Naraku said as he smiled. “Naraku, Do you enjoy Killing that much?” Ivy asked. “Oh yes, I especially enjoyed killing your sister!” He said Laughing more and harder. “That's it I've been looking and training for this very day for 10 years!” Ivy said as she chose the tiger-fist Technique. “Ivy, do you really think you can defeat me?” he asked. “Naraku obviously you haven't seen me for a long time!” she said with a smirk on her face. “Well then I think I'll enjoy this as much as when I planed it!” Naraku said. “Planned!? What are you talking about?!” Ivy said. “Come on Ivy do you really think your mother would have committed suicide? I mean she had a daughter to look after.” Naraku explained. “You mean…you…” “Yes! I killed your mother too!” he said as he took a step to the left. Ivy, Kiba and Tsume were on their guard, they new Naraku was up to something. “You killed her? But…why?” she said hesitantly. “Ivy I had to know if you were the one that would be able to stop me.” He said to her. “What do you talking about Naraku?!” Ivy yelled at him. “Ivy does not act so ignorant, we both know that you can't turn 17 because, and then you will turn on me.” He said stupidly. “Well, there are two things wrongs with your theory.” Ivy said as she picked up a little bit of dirt. “One, I already turned 17 three days ago. Two, I've been against you since the day you killed my sister!” she yelled at him. As Ivy looked at Naraku she let the dirt flow into the wind. “Ivy, are you sure your ready for this?” asked kiba. “Ivy thought for a moment. “Nope.” she said as she ran toward Naraku. Ivy kept running and threw a punch at Naraku. “Ahhhh!” she screamed as she Ran. Suddenly Naraku grabbed her hand. “What!!! This is impossible!” she said. “Nothing is impossible.” Naraku said to her. “IVY!!!” yelled Kiba. Kiba turned into his wolf form, and ran toward Naraku. Naraku was so busy beating up Ivy that he didn't realize that Kiba was coming right at him. Kiba ran toward Naraku and in an intense moment, bit Naraku in the arm! “AHHHH!!” screamed Naraku in pain. He threw Ivy about 10 feet form where he was standing, Ivy slid a couple feet more. “Ivy, are you alright?” asked Tsume. Ivy opened her eyes, and very softly said. “I thought you didn't care.” Tsume looked away, “don't tell anyone.” He said as he smiled. “Kiba needs my help, I'll be back.” He said as he ran over to Naraku and Kiba. Naraku threw Kiba and he landed next to Ivy who was. “Are you alright?” he asked. Ivy looked up At Kiba and smiled, and then passed out. “Ivy?” he said. “AHHH!” Naraku screamed pain. Kiba looked around and found an arrow. Where did this come from? He thought. Naraku screamed in horrifying agony again. Suddenly Tsume was smashed into a tree. “Tsume!” yelled Kiba. Kiba stood up and Tsume got loose and they both stood in front of Ivy. Naraku looked at both of them. “Do you really think you'll both be able to stop me?” he said pompously. Mean time, a half-demon in a red kimono came in the area.
“Yes! And we will!” yelled Kiba, as they both ran toward Naraku. “Kiba…Tsume?” Ivy said in her sleep. There was blood all over the ground, the smell it filled the air.
Near by the Half Demon Inuyahsa and his Friend; a monk named Miroku came upon the fallen unconscious body of Ivy. All of a sudden Inuyahsa stopped dead in his tracks. “What is it Inuyahsa?” Miroku said behind him. As he looked in front of Inuyahsa he saw Ivy. Miroku stared at Ivy, “What do you think happened to her?” he asked. “Inuyahsa looked up and pointed. “He did, Naraku.” Inuyahsa said. “Naraku?!” Miroku said as he bent down to comfort Ivy. Tsume and Kiba where getting him from all Directions, Kiba looked at Inuyahsa. “We could use some help!” he yelled at him as cut Narakus' face with his nails. Inuyahsa smirked and pulled out his Samurai sword. “Naraku!” Inuyahsa yelled. Tsume and Kiba, looked at Inuyahsa they both were uncertain of who he was but he was going to help. Kiba and Tsume back up. “Naraku, you hurt a woman. You coward!
Meanwhile Miroku, Kiba and Tsume were on the side lines, and were tending to Ivy. Amazingly Ivy opened her eyes, and got up. “Ivy, you're bleeding.” Kiba said as he got up with her. Ivy looked at Inuyahsa, and then at kiba. “This is Miroku, he is the son of the Monk that survived.” Ivy told them. Miroku looked at Ivy. “How do you know my name?” asked Miroku. Ivy looked around and said.
I don't know.” Meanwhile InuYASHA WAS FIGHTING AND LOESING. “InuYASHA, for a Half demon your very weak!” Naraku remarked.
“Thank you Naraku.” Ivy said as she got up. Naraku looked at Ivy. “What are you talking about Ivy? Thank you for what?” Naraku was very confused. “Naraku, do you remember when my mother died? Do remember what the last thing she said to you was?” Ivy asked Naraku. “Well…yes, but what do you care?” Naraku said despicably. “Well my mom knew what you were up to. Man guess what she had in store for you.” As Ivy finished her sentence she closed her eyes, then opened then immediately. When Ivy opened her eyes they were glowing red. All of a sudden, Miroku stood up and walked up to Ivy and sat down next to her, Inuyahsa looked at Miroku, “Hey Miroku!” he yelled. Miroku sat there as if he were in a trance. Ivy looked around with her blood red eyes, then she was fixed on Naraku. “Ivy what
