After the movie was over, they walked out. Inuyasha was still holding Kagome's
hand, as he was during the end of the movie.
"He's STILL holding my hand!' Kagome's mind screamed, '...but I don't really mind..."
She blushed as she looked Inuyasha with the thought stuck in her head.
"Where are we going now?" he asked, with a rare child-like grin on his face.
"We're going to the arcade." she said, raising an eyebrow at his grin.
"Are-cade?"
"You remember the little thing you were playing with at the house before we left?"
"Hai."
"Well, it's called a video game, and the place where we are going to has a bunch of them...
all different kinds."
Inuyasha's eyes grew large. "Really?!"
Kagome nodded as she and Inuyasha walked into the 'are-cade.'
Once inside, Inuyasha had to adjust to the music along with the surroundings. There were
quite a few other people Kagome's age playing those 'vidi-o game thingies.'
"Hang on, we need tokens."
"Toe-kins?"
"Hai, tokens...." she said, pulling out what looked to be a piece of green paper.
She slid it in to the monster, and it spat out coins, so that's what tokens are!
"Here ya go." she smiled, handing Inuyasha a handful of the little golden tokens.
"What do you do with them?" he said, looking down at one.
"Well, .." she said taking one of her own and sliding it into a slot of a monster.
"You take the token, put it into the slot of the machine game you want to play,
and then hit start...follow the instructions, and try to win. Simple as that."
Inuyasha looked puzzled.
"Like this..." she smiled, pressing start and trying to win a little cat that
somewhat looked like Kirara. She worked the claw to the best she could, but couldn't
win it.
"Oh darn. Your turn Inuyasha...what do you want to play? .....Inuyasha?"
She looked around, but he wasn't behind her. She then looked towards the counter,
and there he was-with a crap-pot load of tickets!
'HOW'D HE DO THAT?!' she thought in astonishment. 'I can't even do THAT, and I'm from
this time!'
"Inuyasha?" she said, walking up to him, "How'd you win so many tickets.?"
"I don't really know...I just started playing that one with the light going
'round and 'round." he shrugged.
'DUH! With his excellent sight and hearing, he would be able to know when
it was on the jackpot level!'
"Waita go Inuyasha!" she smiled, congratulating him.
"Arigato." he said.
"I'm going to try to win something...I'll be over there." she said, pointing to the
machine with the stuffed animals.
"Hai."
She then walked over and tried to win that 'Kirara' she had wanted.
She stuck her token in, but won nothing, she did this several times until..
"WOOHOO!" she shouted, as the little kitten plushie fell into the prize bin,
"I WON!"
She then took it out, and held it tightly as she stuck another token in.
This time, she had even better luck..she won something she was sure she'd
give to Inuyasha. It was a little, adorable white-haired dog, with a bright
red colar on it.
"It's so kawaii!" she squealed.
"What is?" Inuyasha said, walking away from the counter and up behind her.
"Oh! I won you something." she smiled.
"Same here." he smiled back.
"Nani?"
"I said I have something for you too."
"A-arigato!" she said, as he draped a necklace with a pink rose dangling from the
black cord. "it's so pretty...!"
Inuyasha winked. "I knew you'd like it." he said confidently.
'Like I could ever hate anything HE gave me...' she thought, then looked down at the necklace,
but also seeing her gift for him.
"Here Inuyasha..." she smiled, handing him the puppy-eyed creature.
"Nani?"
"It's a stuffed animal..It's not a real animal, nor ever was, but he's for you. Hope you
like it." she smiled, waiting to see his reaction.
"It's kawaii." he smiled. He hugged her, causing her eyes to almost pop out of her head in
suprise.
'First holding hands, now he's hugging me!' her mind screamed once more. 'How much better CAN
this day get?' Her question was soon ansered.
When he broke away from the hug, he leaned in once more and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Realizing what he'd done, and looking at the crimson-cheeked Kagome, he blushed furiously.
"Uh...." she started to say, noticing his blush in the dim room, "Come on...let's go
get you some new clothes, want to?"
"Hau...sure...." he sighed. 'I can't believe I did that!'
She quickly grasped his hand, causing him to blush harder, but he didn't
try to pull away, infact, a faint sign of a smile could be seen through
that crimson blush of his.

To answer questions I have been getting, I'm going to update as soon as
possible, and as often as possible.
About Inuyasha's look, yes they ARE getting stared at, but they are
ignoring it...they haven't had any trouble yet, but there may come a time
where they do...you never can tell.
Please review! I might do a sequal to this once I'm done...dunno yet.
