Her scent reaches my nose and all I can do is hate my life
All I want is her day and night
When that child sleeps
It's where I wish to be
Her eyes read me and my heart sings
O how I love her but the words I can say
One day she'll know
And on that day I pray she stay.
Every time her family calls her near
I want to say no my dear
Yeah one day I'll hold her and kick that kid to the dirt
Then tell him to shake it off cuz it didn't hurt
There it is again, the smell I love
