The Beginning

Wandering souls drift

Suddenly peace is shattered

Once upon a time...

A girl in a well

Hanyou suspended in time

Let the show begin...

Kikyo

The purest of pure

Protector of great evil

In love with a taint

Heavy clay limbs drag

An un-life, trapped, wandering

Forced by dead girl's souls

Naraku

So many youkai

A human soul at the core

Which is Naraku

The deepest darkness

An unredeemable soul

Darkness born... of love

Kohaku

A black taint sustains

A life that should have been lost

A single white light

Empty, haunted eyes

Carrying so many ghosts

Young hands stained with blood

Shikon No Tama

The darkness and light

The miko and the youkai

The yin and the yang

The greatest battle

Sustained by blood and wishes

An eternal fight

The End

So much pain and loss

Yet I wonder, would any

of them change a thing?

The fight is over

Beginnings start best at ends

Life begins anew
