Love for Him

 

 

He holds my heart within his grasp.

 

Yet he knows not of it.

 

As clueless as he is he is my heart's desire.

 

His soft eyes full of emotions unspoken, and his unique scent send me all a flutter.

 

I cannot live without him, even if afar if I know he is well I am content.

 

He may not love me, for who could ever love me.

 

I'm less attractive than many and my attitude is quite unnatural for a woman but I could care less.

 

To be his friend is enough for me.

 

I've learned to love him from afar.

 

I just hope he could learn to love me.

 

He may just consider me as a dear friend, but I love him more than he knows.

 

Perhaps he might even know that I love him.

 

I know not on what his thoughts are, but when the time is right, I will tell him.

 

I will tell him that my love for him is beyond what I ever felt before.

 

His may still love another woman from his past but I don't care.

 

My love for him is pure and I don't care if he loves another, sure it may hurt my heart but for him I would endure almost anything for him.

 

His voice is sweeter than honey and his words hold great wisdom for his age at times, but he usually uses words of lesser caliber.

 

His words, his teases, those memories are so precious to me. To him I'm his best friend, but to me he is my greatest love because of all of his redeeming qualities.

 

We both are as different as can be.

 

He is my rough protective friend.
