Fear
In the midst of battle he heard a scream. It was Rin’s scream.
Quickly he did away with the pathetic demon that dare threaten him. The sight that met his eyes sickened him along with the appalling smell of blood. Her body had been mangled and savagely torn apart. Reminiscing about the little girl who had cared for him in his state of need, he proceeded. He gathered what he could, but what was the use of bringing to life random body parts? Falling to his knees letting out an anguished howl…
He murmured into the bleeding flesh, “I’ve failed.”
